Took an hour and a half to get our meal. So over priced and bad food.
I have been here multiple times before, both as Revel and under the new name. Unfortunately this time it was way below average. Half of the menu items weren’t available, such as omelettes, home fries, and bloody mary’s, which I think are brunch essentials. So a friend and I opted for the burger, which had to be sent back due to raw bacon, and basically uncooked ground beef on a bun. I really hate to leave a bad review for a place that I used to frequent, but I just thought it was necessary.
Very disappointing. The food was good but lost in the experience. Understaffed and not prepared to service the arriving guests for Sunday brunch. After 30 minutes of quiet, the music went from non-existent to deafening; and with one waiter the service was awful (not because of the waiter). We couldn't wait to get out and we miss Revel.
Have always loved going here for Brunch. Great spot for a nice boozy brunch with friends.
This place completely sucks since changing from Revel. I called and asked before making my reservation if there were any other changes outside of the name & they said no. Which was a bold faced lie. I should’ve known when I walked in for my 1pm reservation and it wasn’t jam packed when brunch is always packed. We went to order and my friend ordered the steak and eggs. I went to order the meatpacking omelette and they said they dont have any omelettes. HOW DO YOU NOT HAVE OMELETTE WHEN YOU HAVE EGGS?!?! The waiter then told me they haven’t had omelettes in months. So I asked for a manager to come over & explain why this was. 20mins pass and still no one came to our table to explain How you have brunch with no omelettes? A place I have frequented for a decade is now ruined. I will never go back here ever again.
Cold , service poor, place looks like still under construction
i called and they told me the restaurant was closed. I came all the way from Long Island and had to find somewhere else to eat last minute. It was very disappointing
Revel used to be the go to sunday brunch spot. Now that it has changed management the place was next to dead. Do not go if youre looking for a young fun crowd for brunch
The restaurant was super cold, as in freezing cold. Everyone was uncomfortable and when we asked for heat/heaters multiple times, they didn't do anything about it. The service was also exceptionally SLOW. We waited more than an hour for our food. We were 12 people, so I get it that it doesn't take 10 minutes, but more than 1 hour? One guest had to leave before the food came out even and they weren't able to wrap it up for her either because they had no containers and no plastic bags. They did charge us for it though! Also forgot to bring out some drinks, forgot to bring extra spoons... Water refill was slow. I am not picky and neither were my friends, we are a super chill casual group, but this was not good at all...
Revel is a great spot for bottomless boozy brunch! Awesome for a Sunday Funday, girls day out or even just a group get together. The price for unlimited Belinis, Mimosas, Sangria is on the cheaper side compared to other NYC brunch spots. And it is UNLIMITED with no time wasted on refilling your pitchers.
The food was slightly over salted and tasteless
The menu was uninspired
The service was good
The ambiance was really nice
An elegant yet casual environment. The service was quite attentive, without being too intrusive. They have a great selection of hand made pastas- it was very hard to choose! The steaks served on volcanic rock were cooked to perfection. A good wine list and nice beers on tap. The whole experience was an absolute delight. I highly recommend this place!
It's just ok, nothing to write home about. Food was mediocre and place was empty on a Sunday brunch.
I Tre Merli is my favorite brunch spot! It's got all the fun of a meatpacking brunch with none of the pretense.
My girlfriends and I come often and we're always greeted warmly by the bar staff. Their mimosa and Bellini pitchers always hit the spot - as does the food, from classic brunch dishes like eggs Benedict to Italian dishes.
There's a dj and things get busy during brunch, so I have on occassion had to wait a bit on service- but it's always what I'd expect for a boozy brunch sort of place.
Go with friends for a good time!
Me & my date were looking for some Italian food and noticed the name I tre Merli (so familiar to me since I’m from Europe) & decide to get in! Ravioli and some good white wine made our late evening so right. Certainly I’ll get back next time I go back in NY. & by the way the staff was very kind & friendly 😍🙏🏼🥙🍝🍲🍹🍸🍾☕️
I was quite impressed to stumble upon this gem. We were late for our reservation, but we were welcomed with warm smiles and immediate service. They had delicious vegetarian options, I ordered the Ravioli di Porcini, brussel sprouts, and beet salad. My friend ordered the Branzino, creamed spinach, and Caprese salad. Our dinners were paired with delicious wine, both of us were thoroughly impressed. We shared Tiramisu for dessert. Loved the food, wine, service, and overall feel of this gem! Thank you for the exceptional night!
My friend came to see me from Wasghintong DC, she loves garden and italian food. We decided to book it. The food is great and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend it. The fresh ravioli walnut and spinach was delicious and my girlfriend had the branzino which was also very good. Good wine list and good service.
Great neighborhood if you want to hang out late night. You can't go wrong here.
We will definitely come back!
Had dinner with my husband on a Friday night. The place was busy but not too loud to enjoy our conversation. The waitress was friendly and attentive and the food was excellent! The dishes that stood out most were the tuna and salmon tartare with guacamole, the gnocchi dumplings with Gorgonzola cheese sauce and of course their tiramisu which was unbelievable!!! We will return- thanks for a great dinner!
I will start off from saying that this place is very beautiful! The service is attentive and friendly..
We ate Burrata as an appetizer, for the main course I ordered Porcini mushroom ravioli and my friend ordered Farfalle nere with salmon. The food was delicious I can’t wait to return to I Tre Merli and try some of their other dishes
The worst dining experience i have ever had. We were repeatedly being told they needed the table back at 3 and we still hadn’t received our food at 2:50 even when we had ordered at 1:30, and then it was cold. When we sent our food back they informed us that the kitchen does not inform the servers when the food is ready to come out to the table (which is not our problem) then they had completely over served this girl at a table next to us (whose head was on her plate passed out). When she woke up she got into my face accusing me of photographing her which never happened. She then proceeded to pull out a guest from my parties hair. There was no help from the restaurant to break up the fight and we left with my birthday ruined and my friend having a new bald spot. We have already filed a complaint with the police and will not be returning to this restaurant. It should be shut down
I knew I should have trusted the low Yelp rating. What drew my party and I to this restaurant was the Saturday Brunch menu...but there are hundreds of brunch places in the city and I would 10000% AVOID this place. Yes, it is fun and boozy but the service is absolutely horrible. No one took any ownership, the manager kept blaming the kitchen, the waiters kept blaming the manager, and we were stuck waiting 1.5hrs for our food to come out.
Also, they stopped serving egg dishes at 11? It is a brunch place....how does that make any sense?
Customer beware, it is NOT worth it.
