L'adresse Ratings and Reviews
Food very good! Excellent location, Service generally was good. Now for the 3 star rating as opposed to a 4 or 5. The bathroom was in complete disrepair and I didn't even want to wash my hands in it. Things happen but it should have been attended to better.
Another 1 star extraction for the refusal to make a simple drink. Let me explain...my wife ordered a coke which they didn't sell (weird but ok) they offered a house spritzer with apple which she ordered and thought was great as did I. I wanted to get one with vodka as I thought it would be a perfect combo but was told the bartender wouldn't do it. I asked them to reconsider as I complimented the drink and was again told that they stick to their signature drinks only. Why would they do this? I don't know, very strange. The antithesis of good customer service.
I came here for a meet up with a family friend during a quiet weekday afternoon.
Overall, the service was good but the portion sizes are way too small for the price - or the price is way too high for the size!
That being said, the food is very delicious - just not justified by the price I would say.
Convenient location and the space is large with very high ceilings.
I probably won't return though.
Absolutely loved everything about this restaurant. The ambiance was fantastic. The service was great- very attentive, courteous and kind! The menu had many options to choose from and was well-written out and self-explanatory. Presentation of each plate was superb. It is certainly a picturesque experience, perfect for bloggers and instagram curators. I would recommend this to anyone! Thanks
First and foremost, the restaurant fulfilled my special request submitted through OpenTable without any reminder needed from me after I’ve arrived. This made my request a lovely surprise to my wife when our dessert arrived with special messaging! The request was handled smoothly. Thank you!
The restaurant decor was casual but modern and interesting. The food was good overall. You have to try the Moscow’s favorite RAF Coffee - the one with sesame - to close off your meal.
They also let us take our time with dinner allowing us ( and other tables) to stay comfortably after closing hours. Never felt rushed.
Tremendous service team!
My worse dinning experience in NYC, we went there for my friend's birthday dinner ( 3 people), we arrived there at 6pm, and we need to leave there around 7:45 to catch a broadway show. Drinks and small plates came in time, but 20 min they only able to gave us one dish out of three that we ordered at 7:20, since we need to catch the show we have to leave this place with empty stomach. We were very disappointed!!
We picked L’Adresse for a breakfast business meeting. Turned out to be an excellent choice! Very nice atmosphere, the music low-key and not intrusive. The seating is comfortable, and the overall decor is upscale without being pretentious. Friendly, attentive service. Plenty of light. Excellent food, not heavy or greasy. We sat and talked for some time, didn’t feel rushed at all. Great experience overall!
This is a unique restaurant with a great menu. The staff are friendly and warm. We went there before the theatre and couldn’t have been happier. My husband said his filet was the best he has ever had. We shared the charred romaine salad which was delicious and I had the lobster uni carbonara which was also fantastic.
Our waitress was attentive and service was timed perfectly.
My only criticism is their limited of selection of wines by the glass. They were out of their Chardonnay and did not have a substitute in the category. This make absolutely no sense. Send someone out to the store to pick up a substitute so you have something to offer your guests.
My review for L'Adresse is going to be very mixed. First off, the food here was excellent, great pairings and available options. Quality was outstanding. My problem is that for a restaurant attempting to play in a game alongside many other powerhouse options, they need to bring their service up to speed. From the start, our waiter was unaware of the nightly menu options, and spent every moment at our table perusing his iPod style handheld computer to place the orders. For a table of 4, he should be able to do this from memory, and actually spend a little time familiarizing himself with the selections for the night. Second, all of our food came out at different times, with the final entree being served more that 20 minutes after the first arrived. For a special occasion, pretty sure it's simply the courteous thing to hold off until everyone's food arrives. By the time the last meal was set, obviously the rest were becoming cold. They need to be better with the timing out of the kitchen.
Overall, if things could be assured to move smoothly, I would contemplate returning. However, this was a very special occasion for myself and the rest in our party, and unfortunately the visit was very disappointing. For this reason, I would be hard pressed to return here in future trips.
Such a shame, great potential, but need to learn how to execute.
Attentive and pleasant staff. You could taste the freshness of food quality specially the salad , the herbs are fresh and good balance with the omelletes, not oily!!!the dessert we ordered has delicate taste and not sweet but sweet enough.. we had a wonderful Sunday Brunch!!
Limited menu but generally good, however simply ordering an iced tea was a surprise at pay bill time since they were $12 each ! We were not informed it was anything more than an orange, lime and lemon slice, lotta ice and little liquid. So we had $50 surprise costing more than our food! Ridiculous.
Strange place. Beautiful decor and comfortable seating. My lamb burger and fries were good, and they should have been at $25 at lunch. My friends did not enjoy the pumpkin burger (tasteless ) or chicken sandwich (not much chicken ). Desserts are fabulous and the coffee great. But I would not order tea for $16.
We work around the corner but will not be back.
Went there on a weekday lunch to celebrate a co-worker's birthday. The staff was super friendly about our request to write a birthday message on the cake plate! The food was great and the plating of each dish brings it to another level! We were surprised by the size of the table...we had more than enough table space for a large group of 7 people. I'll definitely visit again!
Coffeemania (now L'address) was always my go-to place when I lived in Moscow. I'm glad they've finally made the move to NYC just as I moved to the city.
They make the best cappuccino I've had anywhere in the world and the food is always executed perfectly. Their investments in the kitchen, staff and design has paid off in their high standard and longevity.
I'm coming back and I hope they open a few more places whilst I'm here.
Unfortunately , the reviews about the service were true. We waited serval minutes to order coffee. Five
Minutes later the first latte arrived . Two of us waited for ours. Another five minutes went by and the second coffee arrived . We asked about the third and were told it was coming. At least ten more minutes and three more requests for the missing coffee and it finally arrived . Will not be going back given the experience. And it was overpriced for the ambience and the service and the food was just okay. Toast basket was cold bread .
You are certainly paying for the Bryant Park location. Food was adequate not spectacular as the pricing would have you believe. My daughter’s $9 cup of coffee tasted watered down. The $30 breakfast burger was just okay. Fries and omelet were good. Menu is lacking in food details. Kimchi fries were the regular fries with seasoning - should have said kimchi seasoned fries. We saw other tables getting salads which looked nice. The ambiance was nice. The quality for price just wasn’t there.
The service is terrible, very confusing. I imagine the place has no manager or that person has zero experience in managing a restaurant.
The food was good, but it does NOT worth what they charge. No way. I had a salmon avocado toast. I could get the same thing but much cheaper at LPQ, 150ft from there.
The name is deceiving, this is much more than a coffee place. Coffee Mania is a great spot for a business breakfast, lunch, or happy hour. It has the perfect ambiance and noise level for meetings. The coffee is outstanding. I have not had a cappuccino that good since I was in Italy. The food is also very good- the risotto was tasty. My new go-to spot for business meals.
