   Was disappointed to learn that the omakase chef was out, but Kyoku stepped it up and offered us a gift card and was sure to point out what would be a similar meal. Sea bass and wagyu were the highlights though all the fish was very fresh. However, the presentation did make it hard to see my beautiful date. Overall, love this place.

   Talked to the server and explained that I wanted the traditional authentic sushi experience. And he made it happen. The fish was beyond awesome in freshness and flavor and the service was impeccable. So happy to have decided to have lunch here.

   First time checking out this fairly new sushi spot. Nice space although they should do some acoustic treatments. Hard surfaces everywhere makes it quite loud and hard to speak at a normal level. Appetizer with the fried rice square tasted off. Fishy, stale, as if the tuna had been diced up 5 days ago. Maki rolls were good. Service was lax and very expensive inattentive. No checkins, had to flag down to order some wine. Mediocre overall. Hopefully they work on these things and they could survive and thrive in the neighborhood.

   My partner and I had a wonderful experience! Alex took such good care of us. The sushi and nigiri were melt-in-your-mouth. The desserts were incredible!! I particularly loved the green tea cheesecake. We’ll definitely come back!

   super friendly staff and we went for lunch and they let us stay and hang out for a while after the lunch services closed. The presentation is wonderful and the fish was very fresh.

   Very strong omakase menu. The staple items (scallop, o’toro, A5) were great. Good mix of rotating ingredients (kinki, amberjack). Will be back for standard dinner service.

    Great build out and atmosphere. The food came out extremely quickly. Plenty of space in there as well you do not feel crowded. Great spot for date night. Staff a super friendly.

    Good was EXCELLENT! Super fresh and creative. Staff was super friendly - great atmosphere. We waited a looooong time for the last two rolls we ordered but everything before that came out quickly. Great addition to the neighborhood!

    Our experience was phenomenal, our server Lili was really attentive to our table. The food was amazing, the 9 piece chef’s choice was just awesome, we got some off menu fish and a A5 wagyu was just to die for.

    Loved everything. Food was fresh and delicious. With my Gluten intolerance sushi rolls were perfect. Desserts 🍮 were delicious ❤️ would go there again.

    The fish was great the service ok, however the experience was bad ! The chef seems to be in a rush the sit us in the corner next to a thick Column, can’t see anything I arrive 10 min before my appointment but regardless it’s good food but omakase experience was very poor .

    The food was excellent but the maki and rolls were really tiny, a little overpriced for the amount of food you get, in my opinion. The nigiri were the highlight! The service was excellent and the vibe was really nice, plus easy street parking out front.

    Service was great. The food was ok. The lobster bisque was very bland. The blue fin tartar was good. The pieces were fresh. The Windy City roll was delicious. The Tornado was not. Nice atmosphere.
