The mood was uplifting and the live music was world glass!

Super amazing food and service. Even accidentally showed up on jazz night which was a fantastic surprise! Our group had the calamari, and different bowls of ramen which were all delicious. We also had some great tasting sake and cocktails. Can't wait to come back and try more of the ramen and sake there!

Service was horrible, they said they were busy, but there was 5 tables in the restaurant including us ... waited forever for drinks ! Got there at 7:30 and got my food at 8:45, although my party got their food 45 before me while I sat there with nothing , including a empty drink .. never got asked if anything was good .. .. music started at 8, maybe earlier , wayyyy too loud .
Had to get up to ask for a glass of wine.
Lastly the waitress asked when we were leaving... we had just got our food!!!!! We would have been out an hour before if the service was better. Waitress never asked if we needed anything or if the food was good, extremely disappointed.

As usual the food was fantastic, the drinks were inspired and the service was attentive and warm. I applaud them for booking live music and making the experience exceptional.

We have been to this restaurant three times. Each visit has been equally pleasing. It has now become one of our “go to” spots in downtown Halifax. The food is excellent, the menu and drink selection is diverse, there is something for everyone. All at a very reasonable price

Kyo Kitchen is a beautiful establishment set in the heart of downtown Halifax. The presentation was brilliant, absolutely five star. However, the tastes and textures of the veggie ramen were very unfamiliar to me; I tried something new. All in all, I can see why the name is spreading, Kyo Kitchen is definitely a place to try.

It was my birthday and we decided to go somewhere new. It was outstanding, the restaurant has a nice vibe, service was excellent and the food was delicious. In terms of price, it was great value.

Fantastic place to take a date or meet up with friends. Great ambiance and very friendly service. Food was delicious and it was easy to order multiple dishes to share and try new things amongst us. Highly recommended and will be going back for sure.
