About Kyma - Roslyn
Upon arrival you will notice an inviting outdoor dining patio that expresses traditional Grecian elements while maintaining contemporary detail. As you step inside you’ll be transported by the Santorini aesthetic where fresh ingredients hit your senses and human interaction is a refreshing priority.
Kyma’s airy, whitewashed wood design balanced by European stucco, evoke the stylized spirit of the Greek Islands. Generous seating at long white wooden tables are lined with plush, white canvas cushions. More intimate tables also dot the larger dining room. A sleek, oval bar separates the dining room from the lounge area. Here you will have your choice of standing cocktail banquettes, bar and lounge style seating. Our resident DJ will keep the energy high in this fun social spot inside Kyma. In the warmer months an adjacent open-air outdoor patio is perfect for al fresco dining with views of the quaint village of Roslyn.

Kyma - Roslyn Ratings and Reviews
Pompano was sent back.
Ordered langoustine and they were thin with very little
meat. They were tasty.
Considering that this was Valentines I must say that
our table service was Excellent.
We were given chocolate covered strawberries and my
wife got a lovely rose as we left.
A very nice touch.
We have been to many restaurants in the area but hadn't been to Kyma before. We went on the Sunday before Valentine's day, the restaurant was full with a few large parties but the place is so well run that we had a very quiet and enjoyable meal. The large groups were hardly noticed. The staff was great, the decor is well appointed, the food was delicious (I recommend the octopus appetizer) and the price was reasonable. 5 stars. If you're having a special event or just a quiet dinner this is the place to go, we will be back.
Very crowded bar scene. Finally got drinks after trying to signal at bartender a few times. Drinks were good. Finally got seated after 30 min of reservation. Noise level was so high that we had trouble hearing each other. Food was ok. Apps were the best part of meal.
Dinner with a friend at Kyma in Roslyn. Somehow, neither of us had been there before. It lived up to its top-notch rep. Three-quarters empty on a Monday night, the large space seemed even emptier. But that made the noise level very acceptable, and the service was excellent. We shared a very nice bottle of Burgundy: Domaine Faiveley Mercurey Clos Des Myglands 2013. For starters we shared their excellent eggplant and zucchini chips and the octopus – both were top notch (and large portions). We both ordered the grilled tiger shrimp, which were perfectly cooked and nicely seasoned. The entrees came with a side dish of grilled veggies, and for some unknown reason, we also ordered the roasted cauliflower (that’s not to say it wasn’t excellent, but rather to note that our eyes exceeded the capacities of our stomachs). We both left with doggie bags. I’m sure it’s more of a bustling zoo on weekend evenings -- there’s a lot to be said for going to popular restaurants on off-nights. But even given my increasing penchant for restaurants where you don’t have to yell to be heard, I’d be willing to go back on a Fri. or Sat. night, because the food and service are so good.
Food, wine and service were outstanding! Love the zucchini & eggplant tower! Crisp, delicious & beautiful presentation. We had the grilled fish whch was also excellent.
Our occasion was our son's birthday. Even though we did not order and indulge in dessert, the staff still brought ice cream with a candle. Nice touch!
The food is excellent here but pricey, I never saw a moussaka entree that cost $31 until I ate here.
The zucchini chips are an excellent appetizer as well as the grilled octopus. Fresh whole fish is the specialty here, many of the choices are deboned in the kitchen. Desserts are all excellent, especially the baklava.
Always love dining here. the food is always fresh, creative & delicious. It's fun to share several appetizers - Portions are generous. Our one complaint is that no matter how many appetizers you order, they always are brought en masse. You must tell the waiter you don't want everything brought together.
This was our third time eating at Kyma. This meal was an early New Years Eve dinner. The staff was accommodating, and pleasant. The food was really quite good. Fresh and tasty. One of the best meals Ive had in a long while. And we go out to eat frequently. Enjoy!
Love the food here --however night we went a large party was seated close to us and our table was truly the "forgotten" table even asked for bill prior to receiving coffee which was taking at least 20mins! I love it for the ambiance outside in the summer but will definitely be more attentive to our seating arrangements next visit.
We came in from out of town here for an early Christmas dinner celebration. The restauranr is very pretty. The service was very good & the food was great! We all enjoyed our meals. Prices are high as if you’re in Manhattan. We ordered a few apps, always delicious. Then we got entrees we had the tuna, the bronzini, seafood with pasta & swordfish. All great except the seafood pasta was s not bland & disappointing. For dessert we had 2 slices of key lime pie which were great texture but way too sweet (and not Greek). Cocktails, wine & beer all good & luke I said wonderful serevive as always.
Obviously, they are doing something right. Very crowded and tables too close together. If you'd like to talk with the people you're with, then you must sit in the back.
The zucchini chips were excellent as was the Greek tomato salad. The moussaka was a little to rich.
Service was very attentive.
