I got there early, and they seated me right away. Although it took 2 try’s to get a special table. Do not put me in the back corner, and where everyone is walking all over you. Service started off great, but became lackluster. Food was decent enough. Won’t be back for awhile…very pretty restaurant though..

Can’t compare to Avra in NYC, food is ok, not remarkable. Hostess with no personality pointed us to the poorly lit table in the corner, we could barely see each other there and the menu. Appetizers were ok: zucchini fries, Greek salad, dips. My main course was deviation from traditional Branzino: I took a tuna fish special with side of veggies covered with some balsamic glaze, it was nothing to write home about. Not your classy Greek dish so I had a half of my husband’s branzino which was dripping in oil. Cheese cake with sour cherries was good but it’s not the dish you can ruin.

Chairs are incredibly uncomfortable. Food is fair as well as service. I get it, it’s a scene and a bit pretentious and if that’s why you’re going, then good call. The location in flatiron nyc is far better.

While the food at Kyma is great, the service is horrible. My boyfriend and I went for brunch and ordered an appetizer & (2) entrees. It took almost 40 minutes for our appetizer to arrive and then an additional 45 minutes for our main courses. Our waiter told us 4 times our food would be out soon which was clearly not the case. We were especially frustrated as the restaurant was not busy. We definitely won't b rushing back here.

Service was not as attentive as it used to be…. They used to have 2 waiters per section working together to serve a section and now it seems not…. And when asking for something it took 2 times to ask before receiving, what ever is was…. Not focused on serving and delivering the fine service I used to receive when dining at Kyma.

The food is the BEST Greek/Mediterranean restaurant ever but the freaking noise level drives you running out the door instead of coffee and dessert which we wanted. But we just couldn’t hear one another at a table for 4. It was ear shattering. We get a noise hangover from this place. OUCH!

The Crabmeat Cocktail and the Octopus were both so fresh and delicious. The whole roasted Sea Bass and the Red Snapper were also the best! Service, food and atmosphere were all very enjoyable. Thank you for making my birthday celebration wonderful!

One of our favorites, but we’re spoiled by the lunch prix fix, which is understandably not offered now. Be prepared for your meal to add up, 2 apps, 2 entrées, 2 cocktails, 1 dessert and coffee … $230 all in. That being said, the avgolemeno soup and calamari apps were perfect, branzino excellent, lamb chops overcooked to medium instead of medium rare, sides were almost cold and retuned but came out very delayed and not much better, and baklava was yummy. Service was challenged as they had a very large party in the main room and a wedding outside in a large tent. Had to chase down our server who looked very harried trying to organize everything. But the busboys were attentive and the manager was circulating, who is helped us with our cold sides. He was doing the best he could under the circumstances. All in all, a welcome return to dining.

Food was absolutely outstanding. Service was prompt. Had a great Sunday lunch celebration with the family. Even the car from the valet was quick. Not one thing to complain about.

I celebrated a birthday lunch with three friends. The food was wonderful as always the service was friendly and attentive. We dined in a tented area which was lovely. All the tables were socially distanced which added to my comfort level. It was a perfect birthday celebration.

Kyma is great for a fun get together with a group of friends or with your family! We went for a girls day and loved the kyma chips, seafood tower, and Pinot Grigio. Quite loud but I liked the music and the scene, but just know you will not be dining in silence, otherwise still amazing!

Great food for brunch. Sat in the tent it was nice and comfy. I was just annoyed with the behind back us that the parents let their children play in the opening of the center of tent. Jumping and screaming which made it a bit challenging to hear conversations.
