Kyma - Roslyn
Kyma’s airy, whitewashed wood design balanced by European stucco, evoke the stylized spirit of the Greek Islands. Generous seating at long white wooden tables are lined with plush, white canvas cushions. More intimate tables also dot the larger dining room. A sleek, oval bar separates the dining room from the lounge area. Here you will have your choice of standing cocktail banquettes, bar and lounge style seating. Our resident DJ will keep the energy high in this fun social spot inside Kyma. In the warmer months an adjacent open-air outdoor patio is perfect for al fresco dining with views of the quaint village of Roslyn.
Very good higher end Greek food, actually expensive. I highly recommend the fish to any diner
Food was delicious. The zucchini chips are a great appetizer. Lamb chops were thick, lean and juicy and the pompano was excellent
The decor is light and airy, the staff is abundant which makes the level of service fantastic. As for the food, fish is what it is all about and I recommend the Pompano and Dorado. Lemon potatoes are exceptional.
It’s our go to place for good food, ambiance, and the service is always excellent. It’s our favorite!
Best restaurant in Nassau County
Our favorite place eon Long Island. Lively vibe, great crowd, amazing menu.
Good good but expensive. Very loud, hard to have a conversation.
Yet again another great evening at KYMA where we ordered lots of options for the entire table: Greek Salad, Kyma chips, Cucs with hummus, Octopus, Giganti’s and Cauliflower with pistachios. Main course included whole Lavraki and Fargri, a grilled veggie platter, middle eastern couscous and asparagus.
All paired beautifully with bottles of Jordan. (The wine list never disappoints.)
A big thank you to Lior, who’s always very knowledgeable and a really great server.
And of course a HUGE THANK YOU TO MIA. Once we see Mia we just know everything will be wonderful. (From remembering where we like to be seated, to ensuring the food course presentation is perfect (timing, temperature etc), Mia is a gem and KYMA is really fortunate to have her on their managerial team.)
Another great evening!!
Excellent grilled fish, terrific service, lively and fun atmosphere, but the acoustics are awful. Way too noisy! But an excellent dinner and night out.
The food was good but overpriced. The alcoholic drinks didn't contain much alcohol.
honestly they always prove why this is my FAVORITE spot to dine. reservation honored, delicious warm pita, fabulous cocktails, the most amazing KYMA chips, octopus and a lovely fish big enough for me and my daughter to share...so much food we had to take our greek salad which we wouldn't not order home.
The room we sat was a bi too dark. We found ourselves distracted by other diners rudely using the flashlights on their cell phones to view the menu.
The food and service were great. It was a bit noisy.
Food is delicious
One of the best restaurants around
Amazing food, great ambiance, great service. Cant wait to go back.
Superb. The food and atmosphere is always exceptional
Food was outstanding for lunch. Service was great.. We enjoyed the lunch special which was a great value.
Food is always excellent and fresh!
The waiters waitresses and bartenders are all professional and pleasant. The only downside is it can be very noisy and hard to hear the person sitting next to you we’re across from you
Place was so busy. Had to ask for our waiter several times. Music was great. Crowd, energetic. Food, excellent.
Kyma is always a great place to have a wonderful night out. However tonight, our dinner ,< the dorado,
was not as good as usual. Tasted very fishy . We were disappointed and hope its not a new trend as this normally delicious restaurant.
We were seated at the time of our reservation. The waitress was friendly . The cocktail was on point. The floor manager asked us if we would not mind if we moved our table. he said he would take care of us; buy us a round of drinks and dessert. As the night progressed there was no need to move us, but he said the offer still stands. we ordered a second round of drinks also spot on. Toward the end of the meal the waitress asked if we wanted another round, we said yes. The last cocktail was horrible. We got one dessert not 2; and the sense was that we were duped into buying that third drink to cancel out the supposed free round. We should have bee n treated more fairly.
We arrived for our reservation on time and were sat in the bar area. Lighting was so poor we could not read the menu or see our food. My main course was a steak. I asked for medium and it was served rare. The waiter returned it to the kitchen to be cooked some more. After receiving it back 15 minutes later, I took a bite. Without question the worst steak I have ever tasted. I pushed the plate off to the side and did not eat it.
Two appetizers, one main course eaten, two drinks, two deserts and one coffee and the bill with tip came to approximately $185. A let down to be sure.
All restaurants should meet this level of satisfaction. Food was fresh, simple and delicious. Excellent
I have eaten here several times and never been disappointed with the food or service, both are excellent. Ambiance is very nice, and since everyone is having a good time, the noise level seems to be high as well. Highly recommend. I asked through Opentable for a surprise candle for the birthday girl, and they remembered :>)
As always the food was delicious, although slightly overpriced compared to other fine dining experiences on Long Island.
Cocktails before dinner at the bar were also priced higher. A martini shouldn’t be $18.00
Attentive service, excellent food
I loved Kyma, but I didn't love not getting points for going there.
Service not that good anymore
Food and service were fantastic! All our fish entries were cooked as we wanted. Everything was delicious and the yummy desserts.
Food was terrific but tables are squished together. Noise level was high.
Everything about this restaurant is magnificent. The bartender Billy is the best and Armand the manager makes sure everything runs smoothly and comes to your table. The food is beyond good. I highly recommend KYMA best restaurant in Long Island.
it was our anniversary. We love this restaurant. It’s never a disappointment.
I took off one star. I ordered a dry Grey goose Martini and it didn’t taste like grey goose or dry. The waiter told me it was grey goose and they serve without vermouth. Then they didn’t make a martini only chilled vodka? Also I don’t believe it was grey goose.
Any time and any occasion it’s the best!!
The service was amazing and Chris the chef was amazing. Recommended dishes and even checked to see how we liked everything
One of my favorite restaurants on Long Island. Everything is excellent from food, menu choices, accommodating special requests, service, atmosphere...Kyma Chips and Saganaki always a must!
One of my favorite restaurants, yet the food was off tonight. Maybe a new chef?
