Yes I would definitely refer a friend
Great hip place. Excellent food - a little pricey but worth it.
Food was extremely mediocre and very pricey for what you got. Main courses were not particularly Greek.
Absolutely LOVE this Flatiron Greek spot. Have been already 5 times this year - and it's not even June. Owner Reno and his team just got it right - delicious and fresh food, simple and chic decor, lively ambiance, and a great staff. We celebrated a special birthday dinner for 12 people and it couldn't have been more perfect. From start to finish - everything was awesome. Fantastic Greek salad, zucchini and eggplant chips to die for, and the tuna tartar is a 10! Had Pink Snapper for the first time - and it won't be my last...yum. And if you like Baklava you won't want to miss Kyma's. Special shout out to the chef and his kitchen team who were incredibly sweet to our budding chefs at our table, and Abraham who took extra special care of us. Thank you and we will most definitely be back!!!
Waited 45 mins past the reservation time after being early. The food was great so it was worth it but service was disappointing
Long wait, food was ok at best, was not what I expected.
This is a lovely restaurant for a quiet lunch. The food was fresh and delicious and the portions generous. The server was very pleasant but was hard to find when we wanted him.
Food was great. Branzino melted in your mouth. Same with the scallops. Oysters delicious. Drinks on point
Everyone I bring to Kyma loves it. Great food, service, ambiance and music. Highly recommend
Olivia is one of the best servers I have ever had in my years in NYC! Everything was awesome and I’m looking forward to coming back soon!
We dined there on Saturday night and had the most amazing experience. The service was impeccable and the food, delicious. This “new” waiter On Wednesday night Was worse than bad. He mumbled, took our food away as we were eating it, seemed like he was on something. We love kyma but really hope to never have this particular waiter again. They need to make their hiring process more rigorous to live up to the food and prices. We took our friends there and were very embarrassed.
Second time there. Came in from Long Island and parking lot across the street from restaurant. Big plus. Food is excellent. Great vegetarian options.
Was there for a Friends Birthday they added a sparkler to dessert. Was very cute. Service is very good, always someone walking the floor in case you need something.
Food is wonderful! It’s a little expensive, but the pre-fix is a decent value for a three course meal. The ambiance is upscale yet relaxed, very nice. The food is delicious so I will definitely go back!
Our party included someone with special needs. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us with appropriate seating, space, and special attention. They even added something lovely for a birthday celebration. The food was delicious.
After eating at Elea I was excited to try Kyma. The food was very average, overpriced with fair service. I wouldn't return.
Ordered kettle tonics on Sat night and the vodka tasted terrible. The drink was changed 3 times and each time tasted worse than the other.
Delicious prix fixe lunch menu for a reasonable price! Quiet, beautiful ambiance perfect for a date, company lunch, or small celebratory meal.
Authentic and amazing food! Feels like santorini
Food is very good and well prepared but very pricey
Love the place and will continue to come back. Food is amazing.
Would lower a bit the music.
Food was excellent, and service was friendly and attentive. The decor, for me personally, is a bit too 'trying-to-be-trendy' and uppity, but is nice with lots of white furniture and walls with ambient lighting with beautiful ceilings.
We were there early on Saturday and did enjoy our first time having dinner at this place. Most importantly, the food was really good - whole branzino cooked just perfect, octopus was so tender, and all was well seasoned. When I could not decide on my wine, our waitress gave me samples to help me make my decision. Other staff constantly came around to make sure our water glasses were full and empty dishes didn't sit around too long. Yet they were not pushy.
The only negative is that they have a terrible taste in music. It was not loud since it was still early - and was precisely the reason we went there at 6:30pm on Saturday. But it was horrible pop/dance music, and it got much louder by 8pm. We loathe loud restaurants, especially when you're spending $200 plus for 2 people. We want to enjoy our food and conversation without having to shout over our table. That's uncivilized. That's why I cannot give 4 stars.
Fun and lively place with very good food. Good for a group or two people that don't mind a bit of noise around them.
Food was great. Only negative comment is that they rushed the food.
The restaurant was very accommodating. We brought our 2 month old granddaughter, and we needed a spot for her, with the stroller. We went early and they gave us a great table so everyone could sit comfortably and she slept the whole time.
The food was amazing from start to finish . They had pink snapper as a main course to share and it was outstanding. We shared many appetizers and had one dessert for our birthday boy. All in all a 10, including our waitress, who couldn’t have been better. We will return and recommended the restaurant to our friends
For a table of 2, should not be seated 30 mins late
Cool, large NY restaurant experience with a busy monied vibe. Excellent service and very good food.
We will never go back. It was early and there was no excuse for the poor service and bad food. The service was poor. Our waitress was not attentive. She didn’t know how to clear the table without reaching across. The food was not good. Two of the fish dishes were dry and cold. The chicken dish was bland and the beans were undercooked. The stuffed heirloom tomato dish was actually made with a stewed tomato out of the can and the risotto was gummy. Very disappointing.
I love going to this place ( I am a Mediterranean) , even when on a diet ! Great fish, and great veggies so because of the food superb quality, you can still enjoy eating out minus the calories ! Replace the pita bread by veggies !
They have a great Santorini wine too ! And the DJ is playing good music too.
If anything, it is a bit too noisy, so it is difficult to have a conversation at the table. it would be nice to play the music one level down or at least lower before 10pm ! It is not relaxing at all for a Friday night !
The tables are too small for all the dishes making for an uncomfortable setup. A shame as the place is lovely with excellent food. A little pricey
I had lunch with a friend and we both loved Kyma!!
service sucks - they’re too new. they don’t care about the customers and the menu is extremely pricey.
Great place. Food was very good and nice portions. We had Greek wine chosen by the sommelier. Overall a nice dinner for 8.
Kyma was amazing! Our food took forever to come out but it was worth the wait! Amazing food will 100% be back
We like the Mediterranean interior design.
Order the octopus for appetizer! It comes as a large plate.
Also, we love the swordfish skewers and the lamb chops.
Beware of the noise level: they bring a DJ on Fridays & Saturdays.
Lovely food. lovely service, lovely environment!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Atmosphere, service, ambient but above all the food are amazing!!
Every dish we ordered was delicious!!!
Always a great meal and service. I cannot say enough about how consistently good this place is.
It was so loud I could not hear the person across the table from me - I live locally and will come back for bar but never again for dinner at prime hour
