   Excellent as always EXCEPT their fies are just plain awful Taste like frozen out of a bag You would think they could make decent fries The ones at the Stuart fish grill are much better

   My husband and I were celebrating our 36th wedding anniversary. We have been to Kyle G’s many times for brunch and happy hour but this our first time for dinner. Our server (her name escapes me) was phenomenal! Kind, patient, funny and very attentive. We were fortunate to get the last available seats near the windows with a beautiful ocean view. There was confetti and a card on the table which was very thoughtful. We started by sharing the grilled octopus which was a substantial serving for $26 and very delicious. We also shared a Caesar salad which was perfectly dressed. Also it had one crostini with it which I like because I usually pick off croutons. For our main courses my husband ordered the Parmesan crusted flounder which we both loved! I ordered the Florida grouper which was prepared with an Indian flair accompanied by black lentils, curry and coconut lemongrass sauce. My only complaint for the entire experience was that my grouper was a couple of minutes over cooked. I don’t mind spending $51 for a spectacular celebration entree but this fell a bit short. I ate 80% of it despite it being dry as I would never send a plate back. We shared the creamed spinach which was a bit thick and floury. We also shared the key lime pie and the pineapple upside down cake which was flambade and was served with coconut gelato. YUM! To our surprise we were treated to a champagne toast. What a lovely touch that just proves that Kyle G knows how to treat his customers! We will return and I will ask for medium rare fish preparation.

   We have had many five star meals at Kyle Gs but this one fell short. Our server was not present much of the time. I might have ordered another wine but by the time she came back I was done with both my water and wine. We saw the server at the next table three times to every one we saw our server. He was attentive and what we expected from our past Kyle Gs experiences. The lobster was seared brown on top, but a bit too raw inside. The mashed potatoes, spinach and our oysters were wonderful. We will be back, as the ambiance is wonderful and I am sure this is a one time miss.

   Food quality and service is excellent, and as expected. Noise level is a bit intense, making it difficult at time to hold conversations. Pricy costs, but quality is received for this level,

    We enjoyed our lunch at Kyle G’s today. The open face steak sandwich was delicious. I had a fabulous 4drink special for only $10 and my friend had 50% off a glass of wine. We always enjoy the oceanfront view!
