chickpeas, tamarind and mint chutney
cauliflower florets, garlic tomato chutney
I have been going there since quite some time. One thing was common Everytime that us good food...service may be here and there but food quality was always the best.
Quantity on starters are too less so if you are more then 2 people then make sure everyone gets their own starter..
This is my favorite indian restaurant in NYC (all boroughs included). The restaurant is modern & clear, the staff is welcoming and the menu is both modern and authentic at the same time <— almost no one can nail that combo! On top of that, it is priced right. You have to check this place out! For credibility, my husband and I are Indian so trust us :)
Great experience! The staff is very attentive and the food was excellent.
Didn’t realize there was a special Valentines Day pre fixe. Ended up paying double what we would for the same items any other night. The food is excellent for an $80 2-person meal, but not $150.
This is one of my favorite restaurants. Amazing food and great atmosphere.
Wonderful Indian restaurant in a great location in Astoria! Love the food, and flavors!
It’s a great place. I felt a little pressured to drink, like they were trying to make sure we spent a certain amount but other than that it was great.
The food was delicious. I never paid attention to this restaurant because of the silly name but I heard that the same people who were behind Amma and Devi in the city owned it so gave it a try; the food is outstanding. The carrot-beet kofta was amazing.
Horrible horrible experience.
Made a reservation for 6:45
Got seated and that’s was the worst mistake
Asked about the tasting menu... the server had no idea what they will be serving he kept saying it will be different meats in each serving... no mention of what preparations. If you are charging $60 for a tasting menu... the restaurant should have a menu prepared as to what will be served.
Upon asking about the vegetarian tasting menu... he was least interested in selling that “he literally said it’s not interesting” still no list was given to me as to what will be served in TM. I wasn’t going to spend $60 on a dinner when I didn’t know what was going to be served and whether it would be for my palette.
Anyways, we ordered apps that took about 10-15mins to come...
Seeing how the service was we decided to order our mains before the apps were served... we stopped the bus boy to place the order who got someone else who then got the guy from the bar (who was also the host who sat us down and holding down the bar aka bartender) who came to take the order and at this time it was 7:10pm. We know this because we took pic when the apps came out and it was about 7:15.
We were there to celebrate an occasion and wanted to be as patient as possible but when it was 7:50 and their was no food on the table we asked how long it will be and found out that the chef hasn’t even started on our order. sure enough we asked them cancel our order and paid for the apps and left.
The restaurant has a 2018 Michelin sticker... don’t knowthe credibility of that sticker
Chef Hemant Mathur owns an amazing restaurant saar in midtown, which is simply superb!!!
The food in this restaurant is absolutely fantastic. I recommend to anyone who loves Indian food.
Kurry Qulture is an amazing Restaurant with outstanding Indian Cuisine.
I had an Excellent experience! Sonny was a gracious host, and I will return to the restaurant
Too expensive for the portions served - food write up has been more positive than it deserves
Great food and service. Very different but it taste so good ! Really recommend it to anyone. The ambiance is very subtle and calm.
Very Good restaurant. The best indian restaurant in New York City.
Couldn’t have asked for me. Service was perfect and the food was delicious. Will definitely be returning and suggest others do the same.
We had a great time here! The food is absolutely delicious! Some of the best I have had and offered very creative Indian cuisine! The restaurant is beautiful and has a cute outdoor patio as well. We will definitely be going here again sometime very soon!
Best Indian I’ve eaten; my partner said the tanidoori lamb was one of the best bites he had this year. Great meal in a nice setting. Excellent food to share.
The food was delicious. We had the cauliflower and coconut shrimp for appetizers and chicken tikka masala and the lotus blossom dish for entrees. Everything was very good but the portions were very small. They had a great cocktail menu and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. Excellent service, just be prepared for smaller portions!
The food was absolutely delicious. There was not 1 dish that we ordered that we weren’t satisfied with. The decor was very pretty and restful too. It made for a terrific Sunday lunch!
Great food. Especially the plain naan. Loved the quick service. Got to try out something new - Jackfruit Biryani.
The spices were exquisite in the chicken Tikka masala and the lamb vindaloo. The individual spices were distinct yet blended to perfection. The cauliflower appetizer was great. The room is beautiful. Even the bathrooms are beautiful. This place is better than Indian Accent at a small fraction of the cost. Don't waste your money. Come here.
Really impressed by their menu options. Good food, great and polite staff
Great food and service. Good leadership. All dishes were tasty. Okra was the best.
The food was perfect. The decor and ambiance was great. The music was lively and fun. I will definitely be back! The cauliflower appetizer is a must! Also the naan bread with olive oil was something new I’ve never tried and we really liked it.
Duck and samosa were amazing. Service was ok. The guy took my plate away before I had finished, dropped some rice on me when clearing the table. The waiter stated every dish was world class, which I think is naive. Overall, some bits were good, some questionable.
Great food! Awesome host and waiters :) The decor and ambience were great.
Everything about this place is fabulous! The ambience created by the decor and music, the meal, the wine....I will be back to try the “sexy dinner” recommended by the owner/maitre’d !
Awesome food and service would highly recommend. Will be bringing my other friends here. Thanks.
Really quality Indian food. Lovely atmosphere. Would definitely go back.
Great service and fabulous food in a warm, trendy environment with gentle Bollywood tunes in the background. What more can you ask for?
Food is great here at Kurry Qulture.
As always the food was delicious and the service was wonderful and welcoming!
A great place to visit for Sunday Brunch. The food was amazing and so was the ambiance. Music was at the optimum level, not creating any hindrance to the ongoing discussions. Overall a great place to dine.
Owner and staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious. My husband and i had lamb dishes that were the best we have ever had. Thank you Kurry
