The restaurant itself has a very intimate feel which is perfect for dates. The food was spectacular very authetic and flavourful. I wish the portions were larger considering the price. Also i wish the food was warmer upon being served. Other than that the staff if very pleasant and attentive. They were kind enough to call me in advance to fair warn me that they were unable to serve alcohol, which was appreciated. I will definitely dine here again and highly recommend this restaurant!

Food was delicious. No alcohol was being served. Was told that I received a call about this, but never did. Wasn't a major deal just disappointing for a celebratory dinner. Service was still very good and food delicious. Although having to order rice or naan to have it with the meal and not be included was slightly annoying when there are other Indian food places nearby with similar quality and better prices.

Kurry Qulture was an enjoyable evening. The decor and service are great. Unfortunately they were waiting for their liquor license to be renewed to we couldn't imbibe. I am a huge Indian cuisine lover. We got a the coconut shrimp as our appetizer and followed that up with lamb vindaloo and lamb rojan gosh. The presentation and the tenderness of the lamb were great and overall is was good. I think ultimately I am just an Indian purist and prefer the authentic cuisine over the vogue style Indian. And of course the price points include that with each entree being $20 each and the rice an additional $3.

Been a while since our last visit (we live in Boston). Thrilled to be back. Such delicious plates. Soft, slow-cooked meats, rich, layered sauces, varied veggie dishes. Top quality service and a warm welcome. Fit for a Maharaja!

Kurry Qulture is nothing short of fantastic. This cuisine is inspiring and is perhaps the most innovative Indian food to be found in our fair city.

Food was very good. Good value. Wine was corked. Seems like wine was not stored at red wine storage temperature. Staff were excellent and service was attentive and courteous. Manager was great and did not make a fuss over us returning the bottle of wine. I would eat here again.

So I would like to start that I'm not the typical review writing person, I eat somewhere, I'll enjoy it and move on, but... this restaurant deserved 10 out of 10 stars, absolutely amazing, I was stunned to hear that they are a Halal restaurant because I don't usually find places that keep their standards that high when it comes to fine dining and the authenticity of Indian cuisine was there. Every bite was a titillating feeling in my taste buds. I felt as if my palate expanded to so many different flavors with every bite I highly recommend everyone to at least try it out once. Thank you

The food at this place was wonderful! I'll admit that I work near some VERY good Indian restaurants near the Curry Hill area of NYC, so my bar for good Indian food is high. Most Indian places I tried in Astoria are fine but not great. But Kurry Qulture is definitely on par with some of the best Indian I've eaten in New York. The price point is a little higher than other places but totally reasonable, and everything we tried was really delicious and well seasoned. Great date place or birthday spot...or just when you're in the mood for something special. Try the samosa chaat!

We came here for lunch after my daughter's graduation. We ordered a variety of appetizers and entrees. All of the food was very good, but the standout dishes were the samosa chaat and chicken biryani. Rice and bread are not included with most of the main dishes, which is a little strange. This is the only Indian restaurant I have ever been to where I paid extra for plain basmati rice ($3 per small single serving). The only other issue we had was that the service was a little slow even though there were only two other groups of people there. However it was a good experience overall and I would visit this restaurant again.

Ask to be seated in the back of the restaurant when making a reservation.
The service was great, the food was delicious, and the ambiance in the rear dining room was wonderful. The front doesn't represent the back of this dining experience the same way. Its almost like two different restaurants.

Came to Kurry Qulture for my boyfriend's birthday and we had an amazing time! The staff was attentive, informative and friendly. Kept refilling our drinks and clearing our plates. We came on a Thursday and it wasn't too busy, which was great because we could actually hear each other speak. The ambiance is very modern yet relaxing at the same time. I live in Astoria so this place is definitely a new neighborhood gem! The food is extremely delicious too!

I can't think of a single thing that was not good. From the food (most important), to the service, ambiance, cleanliness, bathrooms. You can see that a lot of thought has gone into opening this place in the heart of Astoria. A must to try, and hopefully it becomes a regular to go place as it has for me.

I ate at Kurry Qulture on Friday, but I haven't stopped talking about it since. To start, the food was absolutely phenomenal. We started with the KQ Cauliflower, and we definitely weren't disappointed. As vegetarians, we love Indian food because of the variety of choices. KQ took it to the next level with their creative cuisine and wide selection. The service was incredible. There was always someone checking on our dinner, refilling the water and cleaning up after every course. The waiters were very friendly and accommodating. My partner and I had such an amazing experience. I'm literally counting down the days until I can come back again.

I really, really want to highlight these waiters. They were nothing short of absolutely wonderful.
