   I have been going there since quite some time. One thing was common Everytime that us good food...service may be here and there but food quality was always the best. Quantity on starters are too less so if you are more then 2 people then make sure everyone gets their own starter..

   This is my favorite indian restaurant in NYC (all boroughs included). The restaurant is modern & clear, the staff is welcoming and the menu is both modern and authentic at the same time <— almost no one can nail that combo! On top of that, it is priced right. You have to check this place out! For credibility, my husband and I are Indian so trust us :)

   Didn’t realize there was a special Valentines Day pre fixe. Ended up paying double what we would for the same items any other night. The food is excellent for an $80 2-person meal, but not $150.

   It’s a great place. I felt a little pressured to drink, like they were trying to make sure we spent a certain amount but other than that it was great.

   The food was delicious. I never paid attention to this restaurant because of the silly name but I heard that the same people who were behind Amma and Devi in the city owned it so gave it a try; the food is outstanding. The carrot-beet kofta was amazing.

   Horrible horrible experience. Made a reservation for 6:45 Got seated and that’s was the worst mistake Asked about the tasting menu... the server had no idea what they will be serving he kept saying it will be different meats in each serving... no mention of what preparations. If you are charging $60 for a tasting menu... the restaurant should have a menu prepared as to what will be served. Upon asking about the vegetarian tasting menu... he was least interested in selling that “he literally said it’s not interesting” still no list was given to me as to what will be served in TM. I wasn’t going to spend $60 on a dinner when I didn’t know what was going to be served and whether it would be for my palette. Anyways, we ordered apps that took about 10-15mins to come... Seeing how the service was we decided to order our mains before the apps were served... we stopped the bus boy to place the order who got someone else who then got the guy from the bar (who was also the host who sat us down and holding down the bar aka bartender) who came to take the order and at this time it was 7:10pm. We know this because we took pic when the apps came out and it was about 7:15. We were there to celebrate an occasion and wanted to be as patient as possible but when it was 7:50 and their was no food on the table we asked how long it will be and found out that the chef hasn’t even started on our order. sure enough we asked them cancel our order and paid for the apps and left. The restaurant has a 2018 Michelin sticker... don’t knowthe credibility of that sticker Chef Hemant Mathur owns an amazing restaurant saar in midtown, which is simply superb!!!

    The food in this restaurant is absolutely fantastic. I recommend to anyone who loves Indian food.
