When I arrived at the reception, desk at the restaurant and tried to check in, they said as of April 1, 2023, they no longer except reservations made through OpenTable. Aggravating and frustrating, considering I made this reservation several weeks in advance through OpenTable not knowing the restaurant itself would not honor a reservation. They reluctantly agreed to shove us at a small table by the kitchen waitress didn’t know the menu. It was loud, noisy, overcrowded, and not our usual experience at Kuro at all.

Too close to the casino. Thus didn’t feel as a fine dining but rather a simple casual dining for us.

This used to be one of my favorite places to dine. But it has gone downhill dramatically. The food is mediocre for the very high price tag. They have raised the prices on the menu dramatically. The service was very slow, considering the level of restaurant this is supposed to be based on prices.

We were greeted by an energetic young man who seemed absolutely enamored with the restaurant; he offered us drinks and his attitude was completely contagious. Our female server was equally as engaging even as we watched the restaurant go from semi empty to slammed in a a short amount of time. The food was excellent - although portion size is small, especially on the sushi. We were heading to the show and everyone was cognizant of time to ensure we were able to enjoy our meals and not feel rushed. Superb as always.

The service was outstanding and the sushi was some of the best I’ve ever eaten. The drinks were a bit pricey though.
