We are a family owned business and love to share our passion of authentic Cuban cuisine. We made RSVPs and were seated after a few mins of arrival. There were a total of 7 of us so we definitely ordered quite a few plates on the menu. The food was a hit-and-miss, we ordered three appetizers, 4 entrees, and a mix of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Of all of that, we enjoyed one app and one entree. I'm not sure if it was an off night or what but it was a Sunday and they weren't packed but had a decent number of patrons. Honestly, if the staff wasn't so nice this review would probably be ONE star.

Loooooooooved this place. Came here for my birthday and definitely going back. The food and drinks were AMAZING and the service was also great. All the waiters were very attentive and friendly.

We were sat down and offered water and menu. The first drink was really good. The 2nd had no alcohol and tastes different the third was really sour. As far as the food I ordered the mariscada and it had no flavor at all. I left the whole thing. The waitress asked how did I like it. I told her I didn’t it was flavorless. She apologized but didn’t offer any solution. I left hungry. I also ordered tostones which I never received. My husbands arroz con pollo was good. For dessert I ordered guava empanada. They were terrible. It tasted so oily and of old oil. Nasty.

Lovely casual date night restaurant. Food was ggod but wouldn't say it was 5/5. We had ropa vieja (3.5) and oxtail (5), sangría (4) and guava empanadas (4.5) - numbers depict my ratings from a 5 being highest rating. They did have a live band on Friday after 8pm and they were exceptionally good! ❤️ The staff were fast and helpful, no complaints there. I think this will be my favorite local spot in Fort Lee for date night with hubby, without the pressure of dressing up and expensive meals. Most meals cost $24-32 and not enough food to share

The actual service of all the staff was great. Even checked up on us a solid amount of times. Atmosphere was great and Valentines Day menu was solid. Only downfalls was how long it took to get our food. I understand it was busy; however, the steak we received was very well done and burnt when he had asked for it to be cooked medium. So it wasn’t worth the wait. However, willing to try again and hoping this was just a one off.

The food is good and service is OK. My one issue is that they did not accept an Open Table reward voucher. What is the point in earning reward vouchers if restaurants will not accept them.

We were told about the restaurant by a friend of ours and decided to give it a try on a Friday evening. Absolutely not recommend. You could smell the bathrooms on the second level dining area. We were offered a table at the top of the stairs where everyone was coming and going had to walk. We rejected it and eventually was offered another table after we said we would wait. We sat for 15 minutes and realized no server was coming. We brought it to the attention of the gentleman who seated us but after waiting 5 more minutes decided to leave. As we walked out he said it was his mistake because got distracted. Please don't waste your money.

Overall, we enjoyed the night spent at Kuba; we were there for New Year’s Eve, so everyone was celebrating. The food was great, and the ambiance and the music made it even better. Unfortunately, we were unable to enjoy dessert as the kitchen had closed; if we had been notified beforehand we would’ve ordered earlier.
