No, bad, never. Bad food. Noise. Construction. Unsubscribe.
Service itself was great, but the food was a bit uninspired.
Food was good but it took more than 30 minutes for the starter to come.
Great spot. I go here frequently! Delicious food, lots of curry options. Lots of options for vegetarians, and they are great about making gluten free versions of your meal if you need it. Knowledgable wait staff. Always very nice!
Minimal decor and adequate but not very tasty meal. Service was okay, nothing special.
My friend and I ate here before an event in The Mission district this past Monday. We got there early so it was not crowded. Service was good. The pad thai could have been a little more varied in terms of including veggies and (more) meat, but overall it was a satisfying meal. My friend ordered the crispy chicken and that was delicious. Pricing was comparable to standard SF restaurants. Would recommend!
We visited as a family before the theater and we were so happy with the food, experience and service. All three kids enjoyed the food and were able to try lots of new things. Us adults enjoyed the curry in particular and the sampler. The service was super friendly too. Great value for a family of 5!
Some of the best Thai food I have had. Friendly staff, clean and charming surroundings.
Everything was great, i will go again. I have told others about my food adventure.
Wonderful food and service. Great value for the food. Definitely would go back.
Clean environment. Modern setting. I ate with two others and we had great service and great food.
This restaurant was clean but only average compared to other excellent Thai food I've had. I was looking for something more authentic. The spices were very mild on the dishes that were supposed to be 'spicy'. The wine/beer list was just okay.
Great for groups, very accommodating and food came out quickly!
On a second visit we tried some different menu items and weren't disappointed. It's definitely not your average Thai restaurant peddling Pad Thai, although it's also on the menu….
The staff are very accommodating and service is good.
My only complaint is that the restaurant can be VERY NOISY. In fact sitting opposite my partner we couldn't hear each other talk. Hopefully the owners will take notice and do something about the acoustics.
Good everyday Thai food with some not so common menu options.
The prices are reasonable and the food is good.
We started with steamed gyoza and for the main course had a nice Penang curry with chicken as well as a ginger and prawn dish. They were tasty and the portion sizes were generous.
The brick walls make it a bit noisy but the staff are good and it appears to be a family run business.
The best part is the location. Servers were friendly but they bungled up our order a lot. The first glass of wine we ordered was vinegar-y, so we had to ask for a replacement. We ordered Tom yum soup and they brought tom kha. We asked for brown rice and they brought white. Food was also good, not great. Maybe they were having a difficult night but after such an experience during the first visit, I'd hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
I had dinner with friends on a Friday night, we were looking for some good Thai food without having to wait, and in a relaxing place. Krua Thai was perfect! I got a reservation, we had a really nice meal for reasonable prices, and really enjoyed not having to raise our voices. Will definitely go back for some more delish Thai food!
One of my very favorite Thai restaurants! I eat here every time I am in San Francisco. Delicious bold flavors, very good value for your money especially at lunch. Great lunch specials!
Service was excellent and, besides the room being a little too bright for my personal dining preference, the ambience was nice and friendly. The food was excellent, but our salad was way to spicy, to the point that we couldn't taste at all the sweet flavor of the Tom Ka soup that was served to us right after. Besides this small inconvenient, we would still highly recommend this place to friends and we will be back.
Curry samosas very phenomenal!
Great to have in the neighborhood, it was a great meal on a rainy night. Fun to watch the weather outside the large windows.
I loved it. Will definitely be returning 💜
Great food, totally empty on a Monday evening so there was no wait and the food came out quickly and hot.
Great food and nice atmosphere. I would come back. And if I lived in the neighborhood, I would order their good to be delivered.
All the dishes were really sweet and there was no taste at all. Service was also slow. I wouldn’t go back.
In a city with many Thai food eating options, the quality of the food is very borderline.
Great portions! A tad on the too sweet side and the Pad Thai noodles, I like a little wider than what they served. But the portions were large and the staff friendly and efficient.
Food was pretty good and the price was about right. The appearance of restaurant was contemporary and comfortable. However, not sure if the smell was coming from the street or if it was a one-off incident but intermittently my husband and I smelled a slight odor like maybe "wet rag"???
Everything was perfect. We really enjoy the whole experience from begin to end. We will come back! Oh... I’ll put a little more seafood in the seafood plate...
Food was good, vibe was good. The servers were great--attentive, professional and polite without being overbearing and checking on us a million times.
Such great food!!! We’re vegetarian and we loved it!!
The food was good, but not great. It was lacking more authentic flavors, but this is great for those inexperienced with Thai cuisine or those preferring a more mild flavor profile.
We were seated immediately and the waitstaff was great!
Nice place to have dinner, the food is really tasty and the price is great.
The food was good, I expected more meat with the pad Thai. The noise level was frustrating, loud and the tables from other parties are right next to you. My appetizer, a chicken soup, took them 15 mins and arrived later than my friends one. Unfortunately, the waiting time for the entree wasn’t better.
Price was decent and I would go again if I wouldn’t mind the noise level and waiting time.
Did not receive our Open Table reservation (may be technical issue) and staff were cold/dismissive after that. Only two main staff people for the whole restaurant on a busy Friday night. Tried to get their attention for many minutes, even though our table was close to the kitchen. Eventually just got up and grabbed the water pitcher myself. After we finished eating and even after the restaurant emptied they still did not bring us the check. Maybe they had people out but needed more staff! Food was good, but the service won't have me coming back.
Wonderful food and met friends. We arrived early at six and it was quiet and beautiful. As the Friday night we're on a got quite loud, but that's likely to be expected. They needed more white people as the night got more crowded. I would go there again. The food was delicious.
Fresh ingredients, tasty offerings, quick service, reasonable prices. Only down side was small portion size for lunch.
The restaurant was closed for 2 days and it was embarrassing that I was not aware. I even got confirmation texts for the booking. This is a blatant failure of Open table. I had to take my business guests to a different restaurant across the street.
Had a great dinner splitting a bunch of types of dishes with friends! The panang curry and string beans with beef were my favorite.
Extremely warm and lovely service
Very child friendly and accommodating
