The krō bär is an eclectic bar with a speakeasy vibe and a passion for spirits and great food with a nod to another era.

Tucked away on Main Street in Bothell, a walkable neighborhood teaming with local art, culture and food, the artfully handcrafted krō bär has been reclaimed from the bones of Bothell’s historic hardware store in the Mohn building. The 16-foot-high tin ceilings, a hanging catwalk and the original wood floors were uncovered and restored.

Please note we are 21 and older only.

Due to the size of our location, we are unable to seat parties of more than 4 guests.

    Impeccable vibes (corvids my beloved), I probably would have been suffused with joy the entire time even if the food wasn't good, but the food was in fact also great. I particularly enjoyed the burrata (with peas! what fun, never had that combo, quite good) and the chickpeas (PERFECT ratio of soft to flavorful to Cronch). I tried the mint+pistachio thing and it was tasty but I think could have stood to have less citrus, which was overpowering the rest of the flavors; the chocolate coffee martini was perfect, no notes. I also tried a bit of my friend's thing with the whiskey and the fir liqueur and it was fabulous. Next time I get a chance I'm going to come here with less lightweight friends and try a half-dozen more drinks, lol. <3

    Very cool cocktail bar - excellent service and ambience along with well crafted cocktails from knowledgeable staff. There are a lot of inventive cocktails on the menu, but we were most impressed by the subtle excellence of their manhattans and vespers -- classic! The food is excellent too - although the menu is limited. "Small but well curated" would be a better way to describe it. The quality and preparation were spot on - everything we had was excellent. It's not inexpensive, but prices are reasonable for the high quality and great service - if you want a top-notch experience go here.

    We have dined here many times, and every time is outstanding. Between the expertly crafted food to the amazing attention to detail on the signature cocktails. I recommend Kro Bar any night of the week. Lastly Cameron is a master of his craft and always a delight.

    Service was absolutely fantastic. They were attentive but not too attentive. Cocktails were terrific. Flavorful and about what you would expect to pay.

    A really great place. the waitress admitted they were a little short staffed so things took a little longer but overall was a nice experience. Food was great.

    Attended a cocktail class under the experiences category - These classes are such a great way to get to know your preferences and see how to enjoy and make high end cocktails. Bartender Cameron is a Top 100 pro and really makes his knowledge and craft accessible through these classes. The Krō bär is the perfect setting for an intimate up close experience. You'll want to come back to ask for and try the featured cocktails with friends.
