Chicken wings were tasty, got the Korean style. Garlic noodles were okay. We got the lobster with a side of ramen noodles with the Korean sauce, ordered it hot (options were garlic butter, medium, hot, and fire). The sauce was insanely spicy. Our waiter was nice, but a bit distracted, so maybe we got the fire hot sauce instead. (We eat spicy food, regularly order Thai hot in Thai restaurants). I almost want to go back and order the fire just to see what that would be like, but probably won't.

They were out of the trill fried rice, which was unfortunate as the trill sauce seemed to be a signature of the restaurant. The shaky beef was $27 and absolutely not worth it. While it tasted good, the portion size was small (no where near "shareable size) and the majority of the plate was filled with lettuce "filler" to take up space. The gumbo was fine. The service was okay. While a nice person, our waiter was not particularly attentive and didn't regularly check on us (the water glasses are small, we ran out of water quickly, and it was quite a while before she checked on us and brought us more. I was happy to support a new restaurant in the neighborhood, but I wouldn't go back.

I know they recently opened, but the service was not acceptable. Especially given the prices. Ambience could also be better. Very loud because nothing is buffering the sound of everyone in the restaurant.

We were told this was a soft opening but there are some pluses and some minuses. The service staff is attentive and very polite, at our approach my friend walks with assistance and there was some gentlemen (later found out they were co-owners to the establishment) came to my car and escorted her out and helped her to the restaurant...they did the same when we were leaving. I though that was some explementary service. The food I tried was the Trill Rice, it was a nice blend of spice and flavor-their take on the Dirty Rice. Also had the fried deviled eggs which was a first for me and it was fried well, not oily, good flavor. The Crispy Wings was amazing with the sauce. The restaurant ambience is nice, will not recommend it as a romantic date night spot but more of a good- time hang out spot with your friends. More as an upbeat party vibe. My minus was that I expected to try the catch menu but it was not well explained by our server and we choose not to try it. The plus is this place is non pretensive and you will have a good time. I would definitely pay it another visit when seafood is in season and not priced as high.

We went during the first week and were very excited about such an interesting fusion of foods. We had the twice-fried wings with the sweet chili sauce, the fried deviled eggs and the garlic noodles. All were fabulous; a lovely tasty experience. There were a lot of families enjoying the “buckets” of various seafood delights. They all looked very satisfied. And, I loved that Kreole offers plastic gloves to use for the hands-on seafood experience. The wait staff were very diligent and interested n making sure our experience was a good one.

I get it’s their first week But they were putting their friends first when it came to seating and food. Took forever to get our food. I even saw customers turn down food and walk out because it took too long. Shrimp was way over cooked. Missing items. Over all really disappointing experience. Hope they get their act together.

These are fusion dishes but more Korean (no kimchi in sight thoug 🧐) than creole. I went with friends and we ordered most of the shareables—all tasty—but the shaky beef is a very small portion for the $$$ and as a shareable; the charboiled oyeters needed more butter or something bc they were a bit rubbery and not how they are traditionally made in Nola. Drinks were amazing. Nice vibe. Our favs were the garlic noodles and wings (we got 1/2+ 1/2). Will be back to try other menu items.

Great atmosphere to enjoy a meal with friends and family. The food was delicious and the staff was very accommodating. The seafood pot with trill sauce is mouth watering! Can’t wait to come back to try more things on the menu.

I went there for lunch on Tuesday. 12:30pm. The place was almost empty. I was seated right away then got my orders in. The draft beer - Aslin Old Town Lager - was good and my meal, the Mojo Pork was excellent. Good service as well. Good value for the price.

Didn’t actually have the cherry blossom specials they said they had advertised. We also asked for their extremely insta popular brunch shooters and they said “ya we don’t have any ingredients to make those?”. Pretty disappointed. Seems surprised we were even there as patrons.

Stopped by for happy hour. The bar is nice and the bartender was gracious. The food, however, fell short of expectations. With the exception of the buffalo wings, it was generally quite bland and over-breaded.

Overall look/theme of the place was nice. Server seemed attentive at first but did not return to check on our table after our food was brought out and was hard to get when we wanted the check. Food was okay, fairly bland…nothing really stood out. Cocktails were the only highlight.

Ordered the fried chicken dinner, super oily chicken and brussel sprouts. The mac and cheese was good tho. The brussel sprouts were drowning in oil it was hard to eat. Enjoyed the buffalo sauce the chicken came with. The server was great, ambiance great, just need to work on the food. We also ordered the jerk chicken wings which looked pale and unappealing. Not spicy or “jerk” enough. Not crispy or appetizing in appearance. Wish they fried the chicken wings more instead of the brussel sprouts. Probably wouldn’t come back again for the food.

My friends and I were at the Mosaic location for over 2 hours for lunch on a Wednesday. Not a singe other patron came in during that time! Not a good sign. Food was just OK - nothing to write home about. I had to been to the Alexandria location once and had the best steak salad ever. So I was clearly disappointed. Also, the Mosaic location doesn't have the bakery like Alexandria does. And, they had no carbonated drinks!

I was excited to try this new restaurant because when I saw the menu online I liked a lot of what I saw -- particularly the jerk chicken wings which are hard to find around here. When we arrived, the staff was very friendly, and they helped my elderly mother through the door. The waiter was excellent and also very friendly. Took a lot of time to explain things to us. The staff was the main reason I gave any stars at all. The atmosphere was fun too with murals on the wall and tvs throughout the space. Lots of "eye candy." Unfortunately, most of the food was a big disappointment. The deviled eggs were very good but the jerk chicken wings were very underdone and had absolutely NO SPICE to them at all! I even asked did they bring me the wrong wings because you can order them in different flavors. They assured me they were correct. I also ordered the Sesame Crunch salad which would have been really good, but the salad greens were completely wet. They had obviously washed it (thank you) but they neglected to spin the leaves dry or dry them with paper towels. Completely ruined the salad for me. My mother ordered some fried green tomatoes, and they were very thick and unpalatable. My husband ordered the salmon and quinoa which was just ok. Again, really wanted to like the food but it definitely needs some more TLC!

Met a friend for brunch. Service was fine but then became very slow. We couldn’t get our server to bring the check. We had our cards on the table for close to 25 minutes. My friend had the Huevos Rancheros. They were under seasoned and the egg white was not fully cooked. The Dude Imbibes drink was very tasty as was my biscuits and gravy. I won’t return for brunch.

Friendly waiter and quick service. Cocktails were great. Food was good - especially the salads. Fried green tomatoes had too much breading. Jerk red snapper was inedible - I’m not sure it was actually snapper. It was cut like a steak (mahi-mahi style) and was over cooked and dry. The bar has a nice vibe.

First time trying this new spot. Here goes. Funky look. Loved the movie theme. However the vibe did not match the decor. Music loud. And not movie related at all So am confused as to what it wants to be. Ordered Rueben egg rolls as appy. Got served our entree first. Server advised and brought later and took 50% off. They were tasty. Hubs got shrimp tacos. Served two small small ones with rice and beans. Although tasty more of an appy size. I ordered an espresso Martini. Served in a cordial glass. Tasty but more like a shot. Ordered fried chicken thighs. Tasty. Harissa sauce also tasty. However. Sprouts as side sorely under seasoned. Mac and cheese was watery and flavorless. Needed cheese and seasoning. Only two servers in whole restaurant so they were stressing as it got busy. The staff looked happy however. Would Go back for a glass or wine or something and an appt at the bar pre or post movie.

Fried green tomato appetizer was hard to cut. Tacos were decently flavored. The atmosphere was cool. The real rub here was that our service was non existent. We were 1 of only 3 tables in the restaurant at the time. Never got the chance to order a second round of drinks, no water refills, no clearing plates or busing the table. No checking to see if we needed anything. Had to get up and ask a random server for a steak knife. Had to ask another random server for more water and a dessert menu. We ended up cancelling our dessert order and decided to leave. I dug the vibe but don’t think I will go back and role the dice on the service.

We have only sat at the bar during our several dining experiences. Bar service is attentive and knowledgeable. We got two appetizers and the portions were huge. I had the fried chicken entree. The chicken was cooked well and tasted great. The Brussels sprouts and Mac and cheese sides were both very good. Date got the Jerk Snapper which was not as flavorful as the jerk name would suggest. The cocktails really shined though. They had imaginative combinations different from the usual cocktail menus around. I do appreciate that they are open later than several other Mosaic spots.

My friend and I went to Junction Bistro for brunch on Sunday. Overall, it was a good experience but not great. The food was only so-so, lacking flavor, which was disappointing since there are so few places that have a good brunch menu. The service was also a bit lacking. When we sat done, we had one server come over and ask for our order. We said we weren’t ready, and not even 5 minutes later another server came over to take our order. Once again we said we weren’t ready but I think the server could tell I was confused so she went to the first server and I could tell they were discussing who was assigned to our table. Unfortunately it seemed like they decided neither of them would be assigned so I had to flag down a manager to place our order.

We wanted to try this new restaurant, but little did we know that it has an R rating for profanity, violence, etc. Why do I say this? Because a violent R rated moving was playing on the entire back wall. I am not a fan of watching violent bloody murders while I eat-- maybe some people are? The restaurant was not crowded but the music was loud so it made it hard to hear our waiter or for him to hear us. The service was prompt, and our food came much faster than we expected so we could eat and not linger, given the noisy ambience. Hubby had the burger and fries, and I had the short rib sandwich and salad - both were tasty. I ordered the special cocktail, which I really liked, even though the waiter said it was like a margarita, when it was basically a lemon drop martini with a sugar rim. If you go, beware of the atmosphere.
