Kraft House No. 5
Ashley the server is amazing!!!!
Food was delicious and beer selection was very good!
Noise level was unbearable!
Three of us met for dinner on a Thursday night. We had a reservation and were seated quickly.
Server was quick to greet us at the table and took drink orders from a good cocktail and wine list. She returned quickly. Made good suggestions. We shared several appetizers..burrata/pesto toast was excellent.
Dinner orders arrived quickly, we’ll-plated, hot. German burger, Cali chicken were terrific. Roasted chicken was tasty but a bit difficult to slice.
The restaurant is attractive and the atmosphere is lively.
We’ll return soon.
Our server made us feel ruched -- but she was very friendly and pleasant. And we understand that it was a Saturday night and she wanted to turn her table. A few less visits from her would have been great, though! Food was very good. The cauliflower appetizer was excellent.
Good food and service. It gets loud when it's busy but not terrible.
All good and got hug at end from our wonderul waitress Ashley!
I've noticed that the food quality and preparation for the nicer dishes has gone downhill since the restaurant changed management. It's still a nice spot for a good beer selection and if you want want to eat a sandwich and app. Wine is overpriced.
Greeted by very sweet Hostess, great food , comfortable atmosphere ! Will return.
Really great meal, great service and great menu. Excellent Bourbon selection, too.
A wonderful Valentines dinner @ Kraft
House . They never disappoint! Great drinks - food was wonderful and excellent service as always.
The service was very good....we had two toddlers with us and our server was very attentive to us. The food was very good and while a bit loud, the atmosphere matched the upscale but casual vibe of the restaurant.
Fantastic food with excellent service. The food was delicious and the menu was simple. The bar selection was great!!
Love Kraft House. It is so cozy, quaint, and servers so personable and great! Food and all was perfect! Flavors in your dishes are amazing. We had the spicy shrimp and i had salmon with couscous and asparagus... the cousous was scrumptious!
We do not like this restaurant as much since it is now under new ownership. The fried chicken had a warmed up taste even though I know it came out of the frier. The one piece was just barely cooked to the bone. The Greens were plentiful but very bitter. The fries were very crispy and tender on the inside as they should be. The beer was cold and reasonably priced.
Upon arriving we had really high expectations for an evening of delicious food based on the packed restaurant and the food we saw on tables. We thought our server was really helpful initially - she gave recommendations for various food items and brought beer samples for my friend to try so she knew what to order.
We put in an order for the brussel sprouts appetizer and were super disappointed. Unless your bite contained a piece of bacon the dish had zero flavor. And I’m a brussel sprouts lover.
We then waited close to 40 minutes for our food. We were a table of 4 and the restaurant had cleared out by this point of the evening. This is when we were disappointed with our service - our server did not check in with until about the 35 minute mark and she seemed annoyed that we were questioning where our food was.
At our table we ordered two KH5 Burgers. Both were ordered medium and arrived well done. The roasted chicken had no flavor. Someone ordered a salad with beets on it and was not impressed. Apparently the chili was okay though. We all agreed that the fries were delicious and the risotto and asparagus that came with the flavorless chicken was good.
Overall it was a disappointing night. Based on what we saw there - lots of people and a fun atmosphere - we would not have expected that, but we won’t be back.
We arrived about 10 minutes before our 6:30 reservation. Our table was ready and was seated immediately. The food was very good and our server was GREAT!! This was our first time to Kraft House #5, and we will return.
We love coming here. The food is delicious and creative. The service and servers are always the best!
Since Kraft House got a new chef some time in 2019, we noticed a vast improvement in the food. However, recently all 4 people in our party thought their meals were barely ok, and one of them had to return their meal and ask for a different one. Perhaps it was and off night and a fluke. I really hope so. We may give it another chance.
Shorter menu than some places but loaded with quality.
Selection of food on the Brunch Menu was quite good. I really enjoyed my avocado toast. Our server was very attentive.
Good local place to enjoy. Food was very good and the atmosphere was good for a moderately noisy conversation. Small but accommodating and I would go back with a group of friends. Great beer choices!
Food was really good!
We went to Kraft House No. 5 for brunch with Santa. This was our first time here, as we just moved to Powell in July. We had the best time. The food was amazing. They had a wide variety of drinks. The decor is perfect. Not to mention the Santa experience was the best we have seen so far this year. We have seen 5 other Santa’s this year. I would definitely recommend this establishment to anyone, kid friendly!
Really good food. Great service. Will definitely be back.
Good food, great service, and nice atmosphere. It is one of our ‘go-to’ places in Powell.
The salads were GREAT. I also looked at other Brunch items like the Tomato Soup and Grilled Cheese and it looked very good. I ordered the Orange French Toast. It was disappointing. Made from Regular Flat Bread not Texas Toast. Although it was was large it was Soggy and just not that good. I should have ordered the Burger or a Salad.
Terrific new additions to the menu, service simply cannot be beat, great atmosphere. One of our favorite places in Powell.
Great food and service. Well done.
Overall this was a good restaurant. It’s right with 7 adults and quite loud however service was great and food (overall was very good. Only thing I didn’t care for was unless you like whole anchovies the Caesar salad is not salty at all...almost tasted like sour cream to me. My husband cut them up and mixed them in and the salad was a bit better. The chocolate cake looked divine and the ganache frosting was however it didn’t get eat because the cake was extremely dry. I’m not a burger person but my husband and I had the special I think German beer cheese burger and it was amazing and perfectly cooked. We also had the Burrata appetizer and it was also amazing. They were out of my first wine choice however the bartender suggested another and it was great!
Food was really good, our server was very nice and friendly, but very loud.
Warm and friendly staff. Terrific menu with many specials rotating seasonally. Delicious!
Food and drinks were really good. Our waitress was fun and friendly. It was a nice time.
I like that they change the menu per season. The options seem to be fewer than in the past, maybe just the options I’m interested but I did find something I liked. It is small and space is tight. Not ideal for a quiet evening or romance. Meals were very good as always and the server suggested a very good cocktail.
Not the same as it used to be. The scallops were great, but the grilled chicken wasn’t. Some of the items were creative as before, but others on the menu were no more than airplane food; unremarkable. Gone was the emphasis on the craft cocktails. The Manhattan was made with Gallo red vermouth. Where is the Formula Antiqua? Interior has been freshened, now the menu needs help.
We had been wanting to try this place out for a while. Had a great meal at Kraft House No. 5.
The food was great and our server as well as the bartender were quick and attentive. The food, however, took nearly an hour to be ready. I would would eat here again, but only if I have no where else to go after dinner.
The hot chicken sandwiches were way too spicy.
The ribeye was delicious with perfect seasoning and cooked just right.
The potatoes were very dry and broccoli was undercooked.
French fries were delicious, though.
Overall a not so good experience.
Server was great. Thank you to Ashley.
Very attentive wait staff. Food was very good. No a wide selection of entree’s.
I heard it was the best and Kraft House #5 far exceeded my expectations.
