I felt underwhelmed after my dinner at Bar Koukla. Although the ambiance and service was good, the food was disappointing. We ordered 8 dishes for 2 people, more than the recommended 2-3 dishes per person, and we both left hungry. The food was okay but nothing special. The two person patio tables are also very crammed.

the food was really not very good. And we had several dishes as they are all quite small in size. The prices were also expensive - particularly in light of portion sizes and not very good.

Bottomless mimosa is customizable. Excellent. Espresso martini is strong. Brunch is delicious. Trout plate and Florentine spanokopita is great. Service excellent. Such a cute place.

The restaurant has changed significantly since my last visit. The menu is now extremely limited, and unfortunately, the food was both poor in quality and overpriced for what we received. It seems like there may be new management, as the entire experience felt very different—and not in a good way. They now only offer a brunch menu, which was both limited and misleading. What was described on the menu wasn’t what we were actually served, which added to the disappointment. To make matters worse, they no longer offer lunch service at all. We came to celebrate a special anniversary, hoping to recreate the wonderful experience we had two years ago—but sadly, this visit fell far short of expectations.

We had a great evening catching up, we thoroughly enjoyed the Sangria, calamari, lamb, potatoes and salad. The cheesecake was delicious, our server was attentive and made fabulous recommendations!
