Kosmikon is one of the oldest restaurants in the area of Plaka in Athens underneath of the Acropolis. The building has been constructed around the year 1850.

The main aim was to respect the history of the building. The decoration on the inside is in harmony with the imposing power of the building, leaving it with the delicate architectonic elements that dominate, creating an atmosphere of a chic local restaurant.

In the middle of the Plaka. Perfect place to people watch. You feel lucky to have a reservation. Food is good. Place is amazing!

They offer me to pay Can$ and they put a very bad exchange rate, way higher that all the other, rip me off 27 Can$, more than the others, on 109 euro bill. You will say it was my fault too that accepted, yes, but they profit from tourist people not knowing for the 1st time

We had a lovely evening here and a great meal. A cold night but warm atmosphere and very good service. Our whole meal was very good, nice wine…. a great experience. Would certainly recommend!
