Ko'sin | Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass
Has become our favorite place.
Food looked great but had terrible flavor. My waiter was very busy and rushed and kept running away. Tables around me with other waiters came and went while I still waited for my food.
Decided to treat our neighbors for dinner. We were seated right next to a table with a toddler which I was worried about, but she was a very good little girl, so we didn’t hear a peep from her until right as they were leaving.
Our server was very attentive. Two of us ordered the fillet. My meat was prepared perfectly and tasted great. The potato casserole that came with it was not cooked long enough. The potatoes were still really hard and it wasn’t seasoned very well. It was pretty bland, but that was my only disappointment. The Brussels sprouts served with the plate were good, maybe a tad too raw for me too.
One other friend ordered the beef tips and she really liked it, no complaints. My husband ordered the chicken pot pie and he devoured it, so all in all everyone seemed happy.
The ambiance at Ko’sin is very peaceful. We visit the area frequently, and even though it’s a hotel restaurant, the food and vibe keep us coming back.
We had the Citrus shrimp and calamari as appetizers they were overcooked. Two of us ordered filet and they were overcooked the baked potato dish that comes with the filet was under cooked....the Chef needs to watch the staff more closely.
We enjoyed the ambiance of the outdoor patio. It was quaint and relaxing. The food was amazing. We had the salmon and the tomato bisque soup. They were very helpful with food allergies. Service was well-timed and friendly.
Yummy breakfast. I’ve been here when it’s busy and when it’s not. Busy times there have definitely been some slow food times, other times just fine. Love the breakfast potatoes and outside dining.
This place was GREAT food. Having been to Kai I was interested to see how this place would turn out. I wanted to take my mother here for Mother's Day this last week and was not disappointed. Like the rest of the resort the restaurant was very well done with some nice views of the landscape and pool. It was reasonably quiet with several families around the restaurant. The selection was great and the food was excellent. Between the 4 of us we ordered quiet a lot. Braised Beef, Pot Pie (huge and delicious dough), Fish over pesto orzo, fried asparagus, goat cheese mushroom dip, and of course the bison meatloaf. Everything was perfect. Also to note, while the portions are large, they do tend to make things 'lighter' than you'd expect. Not to say that the dishes aren't rich, but they do not purposely go overboard where everything is very heavy and greasy. For example, instead of pie crust, the pot pie had phyllo dough. Desert was great as well. I'll definitely be back and am somewhat disappointed I hadn't tried this place before after having lived in Chandler for nearly 20 years.
Have been to Wildhorse pass a few times. But mostly to dine at KAI which I have always enjoyed.
I felt that the value, selection, service, and quality for Mother’s Day brunch at Ko’sin was just average.
Chicken pot pie was HUGE and very good. They let me sample he wine before choosing my glass—- great service.
Terrible tables for 2 put you closer to adjacent diners than your companion!! Very noisy as well, avoid if you are looking for an intimate dining experience. Would have been better off ordering room service.
Great time. Great food!
We went on Valentines day and we got the 5 star treatment. Each worker (Hostess, Waiter, Busser, Manager) when they visited our table said Happy Valentines day. They all were so attentive that I dident need to wait for bread, water or drinks. The food was amazing - never hat fish to fresh in Arizona. The atmosphere was upscale Native American and is downstairs to the right of a secluded business center. They even had us try out a new drink for free to give our feedback! We definitely plan to go again.
Delicious authentic southwestern food with terrific ambience and outstanding staff. Their Valentines dinner experience was amazing.
Everything was very nice. Highly recommended place for a business dinner.
Staff was especially profession and friendly
The service and food were outstanding. I usually only eat one time at the restaurant affiliated with my hotel stay however; this is the first time I chose to have dinner here all 4 nights of my stay.
Each dish had fresh vegetables and the portion sizes were more than ample. The servers were attentive and very informed about the ingredients in each dish.
I will definitely make this location my restaurant of choice when I return to the Scottsdale area.
The restaurant was dealing with a sudden crush of customers from a large group each needing special attention and separate checks. While out private service was affected, the waiter was considerate of the issue and gave us some special attention and a free round of drinks!
Very difficult access for disabled. Tables awkward (too long) for conversation although the restaurant is quiet. Hard to locate restaurant, and a long distance from entry with little or no directions. Elevator was not working and the fire alarm rang for our first twenty minutes. Service in restaurant was fine and the meal adequate although the servings were far too much. Beautiful building and location, however our evening was less than wonderful.
Food was phenomenal; service exceptional; restaurant seemed to lower standards when it came to what was acceptable dress. People were much too casual and it was very loud. Ambiance could be improved with more cozy lighting. We've dined here many times, but were a little disappointed in overall experience this time
We had a party of 12 for a 70th birthday party. It was a really nice room. It was very private, so we could have a conversation without competing with others in the restaurant. The service was outstanding. We were served at a great pace. Everyone had time to finish before the next course was served. There was no pressure to leave, when we were done eating. The food was excellent. I have been there before, and i'll go back again
Decent Sunday buffet spread, but really overpriced at $27. Solid standards plus a omelette station, and the usual lunch options offered. Place mostly empty at 12p-2p except for our party. Nice piece of chocolate cake given to birthday celebrant, and service charge of 18% automatically added due to size of party. Friendly, standard service from staff, and party members who ordered off fhe menu got food in timely manner, drinks refilled regularly, etc.
Whole property was having a fly infestation issue, staff armed with a bug zapper tennis racket was entertaining!
This is located in a lovely Sheraton ( for some reason I couldn't get a room this day so I drove here from a nearby hotel). The air/scent of this hotel smelled like Sonoran sky. The menu wasn't large but features some signature dishes that seemed seasonal. My waiter, Jose, gave really good recommendations and also made me, a drink composed of my choice fluids! He made it himself and it somehow turned out better than how I usually made it at home. What a shocker. My starter, salad and entree were all pretty enjoyable. My mother complained about everything's salt content. I tasted her soup and chicken pot pie. I think the salt content was perfect in the soup and slightly low in the chicken pot pie, so it comes to show you how different how tastebuds could perceive things. WOULD COME HERE AGAIN! only downside to this joint was the corner seated guests, including on blonde woman in her 40s that felt like everyone HAD to hear her conversation. Not the hotel's problem but beware of the ambiance, do not bring a 80 yo gramps here.
The food was good, but the service was terrible. The waitress wasn’t attentive nor very knowledgeable about the menu.
Food was hit or miss — some dishes were excellent (special scallops appetizer), some not so good (fish dish was lukewarm and had poor texture, not fresh and over cooked). Service was nonexistent for extended periods of time.
We had a lovely dinner at Ko'sin -- it was made especially nice when the waiter requested a vegetarian meal for us. The chef prepared roasted cauliflower steaks with roasted vegetables on rice. It was very good and much appreciated. It would be wonderful if there were a vegetarian option on the menu -- besides salads!
Our server did an excellent job of explaining the menu, removed the plates when finished and presented us with a special "Happy Anniversary" dessert . . . nice touch!
My friend, our daughters, and I dined at Ko’sin a few times during our girls’ weekend at the resort. It was delicious for both breakfast and dinner. We felt welcomed and the chipotle beignets were divine.
My favorite place to dine in the Phoenix area. I love the atmosphere and food.
Monika was an awesome server. The food was amazing. Great find.
I had my birthday dinner at KOSin with a few close friends. As always the food was amazing! Having a larger party then usual the service was still the attentive and friendly service. My favorite waiter William was able to serve my party. He's always make my dining experience feel just like a VIP. I look forward to another dinner soon.
We had a lovely evening there for my birthday. Everything was perfect except for my fish which was slightly over cooked.
The service was amazing. Mark was our waiter and was outstanding.
I need to mention the watermelon salad. It was out of this world! Top five best bites for sure. We will definitely be back to dine and enjoy the resort.
The food was very good. The wine list was nice and the service was excellent.
We came here for dinner to celebrate a birthday. William was an awesome waiter. Very attentive and made the evening very special! Great happy birthday song ;-) Thank you!
This is a standard hotel restaurant. The menu is rather limited and will be a restaurant that is hard to eat at more than once. Staff was very nice and attentive. Ambience was somewhat nice. I would think that the menu would have more choices since there is nothing closer for dinner unless you have a car. My Caesar salad with chicken was ok. The dressing did not have much flavor but was ok. My friends had the meatloaf and chicken dumplings and felt they were good.
We always enjoy our experience at Ko’sin and this one was really great! Food was excellent. The server was FANTASTIC! Went above and beyond and really treated our table with extras and great service!
Terrible service, great outdoor seating. Ordered the fish, which was wonderful and perfectly done. The short ribs were a huge disappointment, the meat was soso but the sauce was like a thick glaze with too much beef bouillon. The chocolate mousse dessert was amazing, 10 out of 10, but the portion size was four bites total...overpriced and left me wanting more!
Ko'sin has been an excellent experience. My wife celebrated her first Mother's Day holiday at this venue for a Mother's Day Brunch and she was satisfied with the outcome. The staff were very polite to us and with our 5-month old twins. We also had friends to celebrate with us and they were also impression on the great customer service and food choices. The price was a little steep, about $200 for me and my wife, but it was worth it at the end. Likely to return and possibly consider Wild Horse Pass Resort as a stay-cation location in the future.
Incredible bacon wrapped bison meatloaf. The menu is a nice slice of Native American and the ambience is very nice. Relaxing wood flute in the background.
