Kornerstone Bistro is an upscale, casual Italian Mediterranean Bistro. We specialize in producing fresh, healthy dishes based on the Mediterranean philosophy of highlighting the flavors of the freshest ingredients. We strive to be the "local place for worldly taste." Our food is healthy by nature with a foundation of olive oil, tomato, lemon, whole grains, and coastal North Carolina's bounty. It is a combination of freshly prepared Mediterranean comfort food and rustic Italian classics.

From sipping a glass of wine outdoors on our pet friendly

patio to warming yourself indoors by our cozy wood-fired oven we aim to create memorable dining experiences that last long after you leave the table.

    I had the salmon Ceasar salad entree. Yum. I was sitting under a vent. It was very cold in the restaurant, and not sure changing seats would have mattered. Bring a jacket, lol.

    Good selection. Daily specials. Great pizza. I had seafood pasta special with clams, shrimp and a light lobster sauce. Very good. Good service and selection of beer and wine.

    Met friends for lunch, enjoyed lasagna, pizza and a meatball panini. Everyone loved their choices.

    We celebrated Fathers Day for/with our 95 year old father, and staff was very accommodating and assistive with him/his frailty. Food was wonderful and to our liking. Wine choices were great. Amelia did a great job of serving us - could not have been more helpful or generous, for which we are grateful. Of course, we’ll be back!

    Food was really good, y’all make the best marinara/gravy. I had a chicken with a lemon butter sauce,chicken was cooked perfectly. Very good service!
