About this restaurant

Kooma Sushi opened its doors in 1991, and has been serving the Columbus community ever since. The kitchen staff here takes traditional sushi creations and then adds their own unique spin. While Kooma has "sushi" in the name, it actually does much more than just rolls. There are lots of cooked items on the menu, like mango scallops, shrimp tempura, crab cakes and negima, which is thinly sliced grilled sirloin with cream cheese and scallions.Of course, the main reason people visit Kooma is the sushi. There are both traditional rolls available like the Boston, California, and Alaska roll as well as special offerings like the Aloha roll made with tuna and pineapple as well as the Ty roll that is made with crab stick, avocado, mango, wasabi tobiko and peanuts all wrapped in soy bean paper.
