first time in kook korean bbq like the food and service it’s was a nice idea with the Ringer on the table so you don’t have to call for the waiter...👍🏼 definitely coming back 😘

fun and lively atmosphere for drinking. Food was good, also because they give multiple selections of side dishes.
Only complaint would be the size of the tables are quite small, not ideal when eating kbbq because you need two hands to make lettuce wraps. Max 6 people can fit but quite tight.

Great value and great service from the staff. Best selection of unlimited side dishes for a Korean BBQ restaurant and their combos offer more than enough food for the number in your party. Highly recommend for group dinners!

We came here for my mom’s birthday and it is our second time at this restaurant. Service is excellent and the food is very good as well. We ordered the 4 person combo and it gives us some variety. We also ordered the spicy tofu soup and the deep fried chicken which were very good. We will definitely come back.

We celebrated 3 family member’s birthday at Kook the other day! I made reso for 630pm, we didn’t get seated till 7pm, however, the staff was friendly and apologetic. The food was incredible and the presentation was great :). We had 8 people, so ordered combo C + one of the spicy hotspot.

Everyone was quite pleased (except for my nephew, he loved the meat but didn’t really like the rest lol). The bill was economical as well! We will definitely be back to try other menu items!

Spent Valentines at this place, amazing restaurant

First time at KooK and we were blown away. The food was amazing but what I always look for is service which was outstanding. They treated our table like we were celebrities. Hands down the best service I have ever had, even better than fine dining restaurants. I will definitely be back.

Love the variety of food they have. They are very quick and efficient in their services. I appreciated the storage for jackets and bags underneath the seats. The staff are friendly too.

Celebrate my son’s birthday at the restaurant. Staff are nice and food is good. Even people waiting for the table, they still provide good service to give us time to cut the cake and not rushing us to go. Will be back!

Unfortunately Kook wasn’t able to serve alcohol when I was there. However, their customer service was great and all non-alcoholic beverages were provided for free. For 5 people we ordered the 4 person bbq combo and a seafood pancake. The number of banchan and variety was impressive. The meat was fresh. We did think it wasn’t a lot of food as compared to other korean bbq places. As well the tofu soup was bland. The seafood pancake was full of imitation crab which wasn’t the most pleasant — it was edible but I could do without the imitation crab. All in all, the experience wasn’t bad. The ambience and presentation of the food was great but the flavour of the food could improve.

It’s my second time to dine here and I brought my friends this time. As with the first and now together with my friends, we all had a great time and enjoyed the food so much. Excellent service, great food portions and pricing m affordable!

The place is quite busy, but many of the waiters were great. My family had issues with one of the male servers though. Upon entering the restaurant, my sister mentioned my name for the reservation many times and told the male server she didn’t know the number of people in the reservation, as she was not the one that booked the table. The male server insisted on asking. Even when my sister pointed out my full name on the reservation list he had out, he still continued to ask for the number of people. Despite having my full name, he proceeded to point out another Jessica on the reservation list (already seated). Even when my sister said that’s not the reservation, just to make sure, he approached the reserved table for the other Jessica to confirm it was them.

A bit later during dinner, my cousin asked the same server for some soju. He looked, walked away, and didn’t acknowledge my cousin. My cousin then asked him again if he had heard my cousin. He said he heard the order. So instead of responding to my cousin, he doesn’t say anything?

Everything else was great about the restaurant. Just need to train some of your staff better in dealing with patrons in a sensical manner.

Loved Kook! Will be back. It’s fast becoming our favourite go to resto for a Korean bbq dinner.

Thank you so much, our lunch was amazing. It’s a very unique restaurant with something special to offer guests. There are lots of special touches that make it stand out from the rest. The food was amazing and we certainly did not walk away disappointed. Will be back again for sure.

Marinated Kalbi was tender and tasty. Side dishes were mostly all good, the server asked if we need any refill. The manager was super friendly and attentive, kudos to her. The servers should learn from her and be more attentive not just when it’s about time to collect the money. Cold noodle and hotpot were also tasty and perfect. Joomulluk wasn’t so good though, same taste as what I get from costco and grill at home. I liked the atmosphere and the plates they use, felt like I was in Korea. The clientele there is mostly non-korean but they should still hire Korean speaking servers for more authentic vibe and better serving of korean meal. The food was almost as good as or similar to Arisu in coquitlam or those that you can find in Korea town in LA. I will be back if I’m in the area.

Food was not great and very expensive. Tiny portions. Would definitely not return
