Kontakt is a neo-bistro and a casual wine bar in the very heart of Mokotow, residential area of Warsaw. It is owned and run by Piotr Pietras, Master Sommelier and London's HIDE ex-Director of Wine. The menu here changes often, reflects the season and encourages sharing. It combines playful, quality street food with a fine-dining background. The kitchen team is run by a young, talented head chef, Jan Wojtalik, former Sous Chef of Michelin-starred Senses. The wine list offers 400+ carefully-selected wines from around the world and focuses mainly on small, artisanal wineries that practice organic and biodynamic viticulture. The lighting is well done, and the restaurant has two rooms, offering the option of a more private setting - which we appreciated, especially since our request for privacy was honored. The wine selection is excellent, and both the glassware and plating feel carefully considered. The sharing-style menu makes it a lovely choice for a romantic evening. Staff were friendly and attentive throughout. We enjoyed the beef tartare and mac & cheese - both nicely prepared. Portions are on the smaller side, which encourages trying a variety of dishes, though this does raise expectations at the price point. I found the lamb underwhelming for the cost. The passionfruit dessert was overly acidic, likely due to the fruit itself. All in all, a pleasant experience. While the food didn’t quite deliver a “wow” moment, the ambiance and service make it worth a visit. I’d recommend it - with having in mind that expectations around portion size and pricing should be managed.

I recently dined at Kontakt Wino & Bistro, and it was an exceptional experience. The crab toast was absolutely genius, bursting with flavor and perfectly balanced. Additionally, the lamb dish was exquisite, tender, and cooked to perfection.

The ambiance and options for both food and drink at this restaurant are wonderful. The eggplant dish was the star for us, but nothing was less than superb. Our suggested wine offerings were quite delicious as well. The establishment does get quite loud, and I unfortunately had to ask our server to repeat himself a few times, which seemed to annoy him a bit. Otherwise, this was a fantastic place to have a dinner with friends.

Pleasant atmosphere, perhaps a little tight, well-informed wine service also elastic and relaxed !Great wine selection! The emphasis is of course on the terroir wines. Although the one or other" normal" good or great wine would not be bad. Very good Bistro for wine lovers !

The concept I love, food - I’m always looking for, wine - surprising (I would never guess it was Syrah), service - always in place but when needed, not too much. Nevertheless - I was amazed! Again!

Very avarage experience, I was expecting richer flavours, nicer ambient after the recommendation I saw in social media but I am disappointed, the octopus with mango was without a flavour the rest od the plates avarage. I would not recommend this place to my friends.
