Kontakt is a neo-bistro and a casual wine bar in the very heart of Mokotow, residential area of Warsaw. It is owned and run by Piotr Pietras, Master Sommelier and London's HIDE ex-Director of Wine. The menu here changes often, reflects the season and encourages sharing. It combines playful, quality street food with a fine-dining background. The kitchen team is run by a young, talented head chef, Jan Wojtalik, former Sous Chef of Michelin-starred Senses. The wine list offers 400+ carefully-selected wines from around the world and focuses mainly on small, artisanal wineries that practice organic and biodynamic viticulture. Kontakt is recommended by MICHELIN Guide and Star Wine List Guide.

The food here is always superb. Creative and delicious dishes. Excellent selection of not very well known, but awesome wines - especially the Spanish ones. Definitely recommend for either intimate or group dinners.

Excellent food and wine in a place far from the tourist routes. Starters were a bit on the small side. Main dishes were wonderful. Attentive service although a bit pushy when ordering. Overall, an excellent place.
