Great good and service as always! Definitely one of our favorite spots!
Delicious food and very friendly staff, but it took along time for drinks and food- especially during lunch hour.
Drinks and food took way longer than normal to get. One entree was forgotten then when it finally came out it was wrong.

We are frequent customers of Kona Grill. We're from Maryland and always went to the one in Baltimore. This was our first time in San Antonio and the restaurant did not disappoint. We were celebrating our anniversary and had a great dinner.
I enjoyed my visit! Food, service & atmosphere! I would definitely return.

Confusing to enter after the mall has closed. Music was very loud. My wife and daughter enjoyed their sushi rolls and salad but my son and I both really disliked the tampura fried chicken sandwich we ordered, although the sweet potatoe fries were good. Dinner for four with soft drinks and one shared appetizer was over $100 with the tip. The menu I felt was overpriced considering the many options when dining out.
Worst experience at a dining restaurant! Was there for Mother’s Day and to mame the story short, the service and overall communication with the waiting staff and management was horrendous that we ended up leaving before ordering any drinks which took half an hour to even get the chance to do so, on a fairly slow Sunday night(Mother’s Day)!
So bad we left and went to our typical dining restaurant! SoLuna on Broadway.
This place.is growing on me. Sushi was better than I expected.
Quality service and excellent food. Made a reservation and party was seated promptly upon arrival.
It was hard to hear the other person @ the table without leaning in to hear... Service was ok... nothing to return for... shame because we enjoy their La Cantera location

Good food, great atmosphere but service wasn’t great. There were about 10 tables being served outside of the bar and we were always having to track our waiter Ramon down. Took about 15 min just to get our ticket and another 15 minutes for him to come back so we could pay. Unacceptable
Service was good and food was great. Left there feeling full and satisfied!
Food was great. Barely ever saw our waitress. No refills the entire time until we were ready for the bill she then offered.
Love this place but this time the chicken was over cooked

We were a party ot 3. 2 of us received our meal before we saw the appetizers we ordered so we sent the appetizers back. 1 of us didn't even receive his meal until the other 2 were completely done with their meal. Food was great but service was lousy. I would recommend kona grill but with a warning.
I have never had such poor service. Brought my dish missing the vegetable. Also told me that my pasta was corn. Took forever every time he came to the table. Seemed more interested in serving the tables around us. Not sure I will go back after this meal.
The restaurant is located in the North Star Mall, unless you are familiar with the mall it’s difficult to get to. The parking is very limited and crazy! They do have valet parking but also very difficult to access.
Food was great. No doubt about that. Ambiance was loud and our server was horrible. Ended up complaining to management and they did give us a discount on our bill, but it should have not gotten as bad as it did. We ordered appetizers, took about 30 minutes to get, when it finally came it was the wrong item. It was corrected quickly. Then when we got the correct appetizer, server did not provide silverware. We sat and waited for server to come back around for 5 minutes, reminded the server and he walked off to get them and we observed him taking other orders and serving other guests at which point we just started eating with our hands and when I saw him look our way I reminded him and he finally brought silverware. We ordered our main courses and again after waiting 30 to 40 minutes, orders came out wrong. Folks at the table next to us were having same issues and eventually the server was replaced.
Definitely a place to check out.

I was very disappointed with the whole dining experience at this restaurant. We had a table of four and three of us received our food while my son waited another 10 minutes before he got his, and then only because I had to ask our waitress where it was. Once we did have our food, it was not that good and certainly not worth the price. We will definitely not be returning to this restaurant.

They have a great happy hour. The best in town for food and drinks. The server should have been more attentive to us in my opinion.
Had the Kona tenderloin and it was the best. Also had a margarita made with Codigo 1530 tequila and that was so smooth and delicious. I love this place and will return soon.

Horrible service, waited at table for 12 minutes before a waiter even bothered to show up, got worse from there. Sushi was warm, mushy. Do not go here.
I would absolutely not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Our server was nice but it must have been his first day on the job because he messed up our order a few times. We ordered two rolls of sushi and some other items. the server forgot to put in an order for one of the sushi rolls and we received the sushi roll 30 minutes later after the rest of the table had finished eating. When the check came we respectfully ask that the forgotten sushi roll be removed from the check the server said I will get my manager. As a manager approached our table she proceeded to say that she could give us 50% off the roll because we had eaten it. She seemed very unapologetic and after further deliberation we said this is unacceptable and that the role should be taken off. the fact the manager was so rude and insisted that we pay 50% off this is unacceptable and we will never be back to Kona grill
Valet parking would be very nice and convenient. The food is exquisite and we will definitely be returning.
This was a date night. Arrived on time. Took 10 minutes before anyone came to seat us. When they did they sat us all the way in a back in a corner and forgot we were there. We walked out and went across the hall to the cheesecake factory. Go there. Better atmosphere and food. We were seated and served in 5 minutes.
Food was terrible. I has the beef stir fry that has small bits of some type of.meat with stringy something in the dish. Theu were out of three of the main appetizers. Love Kona before, never to return at North Star.
Good food as expected. Our server was great - he's very genuinely friendly, funny and attentive. Food arrive at a good pace. I had the sea bass and my partner had the salmon. They both were great choices. We will definitely come back again.
