   Late Mothers Day celebration - macadamia nut crusted chicken was good but mashed potatoes were not. Brocollini was not seasoned either. Sushi was great and pasta good. Music was very loud but great playlist.

   Fun night. Appetizers only. Pot stickers were 3 on a plate and sauce. Poor presentation. Do 5 and raise the price. We ordered a second plate. Sea bass slider was mushy and not very appealing. Server was pleasant and professional. We would return just for her service. Hostess was accommodating and pleasant.

   So disappointing. We went there for mother's Day, and it was not a great experience. The service was inattentive from the beginning, and the place was only half full. It took us about 45 minutes to get our food, and it appears it wss because either they were waiting a long time on my daughter's steak or they forgot to put it in. My wife and I ordered the eggs Benedict, my son ordered sushi and my other son had a kid's meal in addition to the aforementioned steak. When the food came out, again 45 minutes after we ordered, the steak looked perfect, while it was clear that our eggs Benedicts had been sitting under heating lamps for a long period of time. They were dry, the ham was overcooked, and they did not come with the asparagus that had been in the description. They were really tough to eat, and when we asked about the asparagus, the server said "I'll get you asparagus and then brought us back one order of prosciutto wrapped asparagus which is not what we wanted because neither of us like prosciutto. Again, the menu said the eggs Benedict came with asparagus. We had to flag the server down for beverage refills during our long wait as well When the server asked us how our food was and we told him, the response was "sorry, should I take your plates?" In his defense, he did take the two meals off of our check without us asking for that. It would not have been nearly as disappointing if it wasn't Mother's Day, but we probably won't go back, and I absolutely wouldn't recommend this place for a special occasion.

    Felt like it was along shot nut we wanted to see a particular basketball game. The staff scrambled and helped each other to get it. Yay! Good food and good service, too.

    It took a long time to order drinks. We ordered an app and still had menus on the table when the waiter tried to take them before we had even ordered. I ordered mashed potatoes with my meal and got crispy. When I asked about ordering mashed, the waiter told me they gave me that because they were out of mashed.

    Kona Grill - Minnetonka is a cozy restaurant that has always left a good impression. Hospitable wait staff, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, wide wine list and wonderful dessert.

    Good clean food ! Had the calamari, nori salad and ribeye meatballs. The meatballs were very good except served over mashed potatoes which I am not a fan. LOVED the vanilla flavored old fashion too!

    I like the place and service but on the food option it is all roasted or fried. My family, friends and myself like grilled or baked food with less salt. I am hoping you will consider menu options on how food is being prepared. Thank you

    Conveniently located in the Mall. Our server was prompt in taking our orders, and our food arrived in great time. One criticism: The ambient noise - sounds from the kitchen - was uncomfortably loud at times.

    Wobbly tables and chairs, super dirty menus, limited ingredient availability, and a medium rare steak that well done. They remade it, still well done. Server was frustrated for me! And not one visit from a manager. Attempted to bring a third steak when we were leaving. Won’t be returning.

    The restaurant itself was not busy, we watched as others that came after us received their meals before us and we waited over an hour to receive our food. When our food was finally brought out, it was brought out by the manager rather than our waitress. Our waitress put everything on one ticket without asking how things should be divvied up, left us with the ticket for a few minutes, though she did correct this after we alerted her to the issue.

    Food was good and appropriate with the cost. Great restaurant just a bit load for me and my wife. We needed to lean in to speak with each other. Service and staff are very polite and friendly. Good place to eat and have a drink.

    Made a reservation to celebrate a birthday and were seated right inside the door where there was a cold draft. Most of the restaurant was empty so it was odd that was the table we were given. Female server did not place our order correctly so we didnt get one of our dinners. When we alerted her, she stated she would put it right in....we told her we no longer wanted it as most were done eating. We asked to have it taken off our bill and although it is totally my husband's fault for not checking, I don't think she did. We love Kona Grill but would not go back to this location.

    We had a 6:15 reservation. Seated immediately. Took 15 minutes to get 2 menus, no kids menu provided. Took another 20 minutes to get our beverages- and 4 of them were just sodas. Placed food order and waited an hour and a half- NEVER got communication of what was going on or why our food was not coming. I talked to our waitress and said- I have to leave to go feed my kids. She was kind, apologetic, and said that they gave our food to someone else and they were going to remake it. I said No thank you, and tried to pay for our drinks. They did not charge for the sodas and 2 beers we actually got. Not at all impressed, will not be back, but I hear the Eden Prairie location IS worth a visit. Will try there sometime.

    We encountered many issues during our dining experience. 1) Table did not have QR code and we were not offered menus or restaurant week menu. 2) Took 15-17 min to receive wine and both were wrong size. 3) Took 35-40 min to receive food after ordering. 4) Kids sliders buns hard and burgers were cold. 5) Soup had layer as if it were sitting under heat lamp for extended period. 6) Dessert (coconut run cake) came with meal, which I have never seen before. I understand that it is a challenging time in the hospitality business, but at these menu prices, the experience should be considerably better. Both execution and quality were subpar. We will not be returning to Kona Grill.

    They didn’t have enough menus to go around and had no kids menus to give out, both of which were kind of strange. Also, people who were seated before us got their menus first. The food was great, however, I had to send a steak back because a “medium” steak was given to me extra rare instead. The waitress took care of it right away and had a new steak out pretty quickly. The music was very loud and made having a conversation difficult, I expected more of a fine dining experience and got much more of a club vibe. Overall, it was ok. The food all around wasn’t worth the over $200 bill, compared to other restaurants with similar pricing. We probably won’t return.
