Excellent dinner and service! Restaurant music was a touch on the loud side, but otherwise we had a great, much needed Date Night!

We came to Kona grill on a Friday night and we’re seated right away (made a reservation ahead of time). The service was very friendly, attentive, and prompt. The bartenders were very friendly and made our time very enjoyable. We will definitely be back!

Bama roll and happy hour wine...perfect!

The chopped salad with salmon added was delicious, only word of caution, it is not chopped and had large leafy lettuce that was a challenge to eat during a business meeting.

It was cold but otherwise great.

Our team will try and keep a better eye on the temperature we do get a lot of the cold wind from the entrance doors of the mall wafting into our space, so keeping the temperature just right can be challenging between to hot and to cool. We specifically requested to be seated at a table away from the kitchen pass when we booked the reservation; initially, the hostess tried to seat us at a table directly beside the kitchen pass & we had to request to be moved to a quieter table.
We were disappointed with the limited menu options for Valentine's Day; it would have been nice to know that the menu would be so severely limited ahead of time, but that was not communicated to us until we arrived & were seated.
I ordered a crunchy spicy tuna sushi roll as an appetizer and the pan-seared salmon with champagne fig glaze and cauliflower hash (on "special"), but neither of these dishes were particularly flavorful.
My fiancé ordered the Picasso sushi roll as the appetizer and the macadamia nut chicken entrée as his main course; he enjoyed his food much more than I enjoyed mine.
Overall, I would still recommend this restaurant as we have had excellent food and service here in the past (birthdays, date nights, etc.) however, I would not recommend going there on a holiday such as Valentine's Day.

All the service was very good but it should be noted that the meat this time was a little cold it was like they had already prepared it and they only reheated it this happened on February 14, previously I visited the place several times and the comfortable was always excellent but this time I did not have a very good experience

It was the first time I was a little disappointed in the food quality at my normal fav spot! Service as always was great! I had Krystle she was SO friendly! I could tell my roll had been made a little ahead, the rice was cold and beginning to harden. Wasn't a fan of the limited valentines menu but I understood, just wanted that quality be there for the higher holiday price point too. I ll be back, just keep the sushi fresh as it can be Kona! :)

My only complaint is that I had a reservation and wasn't seated until 10 minutes later. People who walked up were seated be me and my party was.

Everything was fine except where we sat. In the reservation process I selected a table (vs high top). They put us at a high top in the area more suited for the warmer weather. My wife wore her coat the whole time, which is ridiculous. Otherwise everything was good.

You're right, our all-season patio was chilly this weekend with the -20 degree temperatures just out side the glass... we're glad the heat stayed on although it was struggling to keep up! We were seated immediately and our waitress was so friendly! It was our first time and Kona and the food was amazing. For such a busy night our food came out so quickly. It was out in less than 15 minutes. 10/10 experience and i highly recommend Kona to anyone.

Three of us went in for lunch and we’re having appetizers and small entrées of sushi. The servers were excellent and very attentive and the food was prepared and delivered very quickly. Everything tasted great and we had leftovers to bring home. Can’t wait to go again!

The quality of the food and sushi needs improvement. The food sits too long waiting to be delivered to table.
The quality of how you are serving a $14 margarita needs to be better.
The wait staff needs to better trained on the wine selections because you are paying again almost $12 for a glass of wine. So it would be nice if the waiter knew more about the selections they offer.
You want customers to return, but there are a few things to consider. I totally understand the challenges of returning during a pandemic is tough, but for the prices of the food and beverages, the service and quality of food does not compare.
We loved our experience. Had an early Valentine’s Day date night on 2/10/21. Took advantage of the Date Nite special. Great price for a couple on a budget who is looking for a great quality meal. Service was on point as well as the atmosphere. Will definitely return in the future to explore the menu and we will be recommending to friends. Thanks Kona Grill!

The one issue is we had a reservation and they took walk ups before us. What is the point of making a reservation? We waited 30 minutes after our booked time for a table. Little seating while you wait.

Kona grill was quiet and yummy! Our service was slow at first but picked up and we had two servers. I got the Vegas roll and my friend got the pad thai- both great!

Fish taco was amazing. We also had prime rib, calamari, crab crunch sushi roll and shrimp tempera roll. Everything tasted great.

Easy to make a reservation - we had a great high top in a secluded area. However, it was by a locked side door next to the mall's main doors and throughout our meal, at least 30 people tried to open the door! It was both distracting and comical. The food was good, but the avocado rolls needed some flavor. The macadamia nut chicken was delicious, but the potatoes had zero flavor. Great watermelon margaritas!

The food was excellent. The staff does not yet have a good hold of coronavirus restricts and accommodating guests appropriately.

We have a new sanitation fogger that we are using ever 30 minutes on high contact surfaces, we have installed an ultraviolet HVAC filter system, our staff do daily health/safety checkins, and we fog the entire restaurant every day we have a dedicated staff member for just sanitation every shift. It was rather busy for a Sunday afternoon during the Pandemic, so the service was a little slow, but the food was good and the servers were very nice.

I have always liked Kona Grill - Sunday all day happy hour is awesome. Had a little trouble this time getting things out of the kitchen, and having hot tea. Hoping it just a matter of getting back in the swing again. SO GLAD they are open again!!
