Super slow service. We have eaten here several times but never this bad of a service. Entree was cold since sat too long for waitress to bring out. Appetizer (calamari) was unsalted and not good at all. Disappointing.
Double date super nice but very loud music.
We had a 7:30 reservation and we’re seating pretty quickly, but no one came to take our order. After about 20 minutes the manager noticed and stopped to take our drink order, but we didn’t get those for another 20 minutes. Then we had at least four different servers throughout the night - I don’t think they knew who was supposed to be taking care of us. Overall we waited about 90 minutes for our entrees. It was not worth it and I will not be returning.

This was our first time trying Kona for brunch and it didn’t disappoint. My wife’s macadamia nut French toast were excellent. I had the all American and it was good as well but I might opt for something a little less traditional next time. Host or maybe he was the manager was very friendly and checked on us more than once. Corey our waiter was also very attentive and helpful with his menu suggestions. Very spacious restaurant and the decor has held up well over the years. We have probably been about 4 times overall and never had a bad meal. Price wise they aren’t cheap but you get what you pay for and they do offer some coupons and rewards through there website/app.will definitely continue to go back.
Loved the atmosphere and the customer service was top tier, the only thing was that my food was way over cooked, but other than that definitely recommend.
Sat on patio , servers were very attentive , manager came by the table to check on our table , staff friendly .
Such a disappointment and I never want to go back here. 1. Slow, in attentive service. 2. Slow bar, small pours. 3. Mediocre, overpriced food in tiny, overpriced proportions (did I mention overpriced???) 4. Loud, frenetic music that made us have to raise our voices to talk even in an almost empty restaurant.
Worst sushi I’ve ever had. Zero taste. Pieces so large no way to get one in your mouth without cutting it. Had to wait longer than expected for a plate and soy sauce after receiving food. Waitress told me not to order sushi I wanted, but to order different roll. I did and hated it. She didn’t even remove it from my bill. She was extremely rude any time we asked for anything. Made us pay before we even finished our meal. Will not be going back.

Food took way to long to come out. Made a complaint about having the wrong steak and cooked incorrectly. Potato’s were dry and asparagus was undercooked. Waitress took 15 mins to bring out drinks.

While our server was very friendly and helpful, she appeared overwhelmed at times. The hostess when we entered took our name and proceeded to wander around the restaurant. We weren’t certain if it was to find a table or talk to the back staff.Another young lady stopped by and asked if we needed assistance and said we would be seated shortly and did seat us.
The whole experience just seemed disjointed with the music volume changing from loud to normal and back to loud. The food was ok with my husband’s being burnt. We didn’t send it back because we didn’t wish to wait again. The manager did not stop at our table but he did at others. Still not certain about the hostess. She seemed more interested in working in the bar area than assisting guests.This will be the last time we visit.
Seafood wasn't fresh and salmon was dry and over cooked, service and ambiance were good though, so maybe just stick to their steak menu instead. Won't be going back again when I have seafood cravings
I think they must have been short-staffed. The waiter and manager were apologetic and tried their best.
The BBQ chicken flatbread was soggy and not tasty. But our other dishes were fine.

The food was wonderful. Our waiter was excellent and one we all enjoyed interacting.
This visit to Kona Grill was outstanding with the exception of the volume level of the music. It was very loud and the constant bass of the drum beat left my ears ringing when we left. Fix the noise level and you have it perfect.
Checked in for my reservation and was told my table would be ready shortly. We sat down in the restaurant by the hostess stand to wait. After waiting and realizing that people that came in after us had already been seated I checked my phone to realize the hostess which was 3 feet away from me texted me to tell me my table was ready 10 ago. Unacceptable...if that’s the way I was going to be contacted, she should have said something so I knew to look at my phone. I’m not someone that has my phone glued to my hand at all times.
This is the second time my wife and I have tried Kona - there will probably not be a third. My wife had a filet and ordered it medium. it came out bloody. It was sent back and when it returned, the edges were charred but still raw in the center. The sides included broccoli, mashed potatoes, and brussel sprouts. The broccoli was under cooked and very salty. Unedible. The mashed potatoes were starchy and way too firm (nothing like the "creamy" description in the menu) and the sprouts arrived as a gooey clump.
We ended up not having to pay for the steak and were given a dessert on the house. So the evening ended on a up note, but after two strikes, I would not recomend Kona.
We were surprised with happy and it did not disappoint. The London Mule was amazing so was all of the sushi. The waitress was very helpful and friendly
Service and food were excellent. I gave four stars for ambience because it was so cold.
As always it was a wonderful experience! We drive 30 miles just for their California Roll!

4 stars because they were out of the first 3 items I asked for! But I ended up with the sweet chili glazed salmon, and it was AMAZING. Our server Tralyria was very sweet and had great suggestions when I needed to substitute for the items they were out of. The drinks were good as well.
It took about 25 minutes for our server to come acknowledge us. I’m sure they are understaffed like every other restaurant right now. He was also not very knowledgeable about the menu. The drink I ordered was delicious (electric lemonade) and the appetizers were very good: avocado eggrolls and potstickers. We ended up having to leave before we could order our entrees but those 3 things were close to $50. So pretty pricey. I would go back hoping the service would be better and to try more food!
This was a great experience for our first date, seating was open yet private no difficulty talking and focusing on each other. The food was fantastic, delivered a very time appropriate way bother over lapped. Drinks were finely crafted snd food expertly prepared.
It was our first time visiting any Kona Grill. And our first time in Huntsville. First things first. The service was fabulous.
I had to have two corrected meals. I wound up not eating either.
Both the server and manager handled it wonderfully.
My husband and oldest son both enjoyed their entrees of steak and salmon, respectively. I had small bites of both and they were quite tasty.
The interesting piece of that is that the Asian style entrees that both my youngest son and I ordered were mediocre at best and way too spicy.
The entire menu is monstrously overpriced! $15 for 6 tiny dumplings. They were good. Not $15 good. All the menu items are way, way, overpriced. We live in a much larger city and the prices were outlandish for the environment and the area.
Overall, I would not pick this restaurant for quality of the food and the pricing. The service/management were done impeccably. It’s just not worth the money and the mediocrity of the food.
Came for a quick lunch bite while exploring bridge St. the food was good and the service was A1! We will be back
We made reservations and were seated quickly. Our server was amazing. The food was good but a little too pricey.
Service started out poorly as with my previous visit. However after about 10 minutes we were greeted; service was ok after that. While there appear to be many servers (as with my previous visit), we are never greeted promptly to take drink orders. However at least with this visit I didn’t have to go to the bar to order a cocktail. Sushi was fantastic and the burger was great. The Asian salad was okay…nothing special.
Service was terribly slow and bathrooms were not clean. Food was delicious though.
Ribs were dry but the Ribeye meatballs were amazing as always.
I love good food and good service. The sushi rolls were very good, the steak was less than average. Ribeye was tough and included no filet portion, but was just ok.
The noise level was pathetic, I have great hearing and struggled to carry on conversation with dinner companions.

I think Kona Grill had an off night or were either short staffed. We went here about a month ago and everything was great, so we were eager to return. The server was very friendly, but the service was slow as well as the food. All the staff were very friendly actually and everyone seemed busy. We weren’t in a hurry, but our dining experience wasn’t what we’ve come to expect from Kona Grill.
The worst Rib eye I have ever had. The manager was nice enough to take it off the check.
Outside high top seating was nice, comfortable.
Our waitress was wonderful! She made recommendations and really knew the menu!
