Waiter was tough to find all evening. He brought wrong meal to us and we had to wait for right one to be cooked. Not sure if this is representative of a typical day at the restaurant, but it was definitely an off-night.
I loved their bento box/kids meals. The sushi was good, except for the coconut shrimp roll. The calamari was not seasoned very well, but the sauce it came with was very good. Our server was very attentive. It is definitely a place to visit again.
We were every crowd and had to wait almost 1 hour to place our order. Our order was all wrong , wrong food, sides and salad dressing. Too expensive to be unhappy.
My wife and decided we were past due for a date and decided to go out. I made reservations here and it was our first time coming here. We were not disappointed. The ambiance was great and the food was good. Our server was the one who made the evening great! Here name was Maddie and she deserves a raise and credit for an awesome personality and knowledge of food. She was patient and a delight.
Every single member of the staff that we saw was absolutely wonderful! The food was delicious, and not unreasonably priced. Portions were generally plenty large, too!

Food took 2 hrs to get to the table and I have small children so that was rough. Once the food arrived it was incorrect the steak was overcooked when I requested medium well and my wife's food was cold..... will never return.
Father’s Day dinner. We were seated away from most of patrons. We didn’t have a bad experience, but the food wasn’t as wonderful as it usually is. Service was very slow. Our server, Tasha, was precious. I don’t think our table was even hers, but she saw us sitting there for an extended time and she adopted us. I think she probably was a bar server. She was very good and kind, but I guess the kitchen was behind because it took a long time to get every course. Kona Grill is one of our family’s favorite restaurants. Hoping it was just an off night.

Service wasn’t very good and restaurant wasn’t very full for Fathers Day. Table was dirty when we got there, no drink refills, apps and food came all at once, and food wasn’t as good as normally is.
Awesome. Giuseppe was amazing. Most of the menu can be specially maze gluten free. I will DEFINITELY be back.

This was our first visit to Kona Grill. We were seated as soon as we walked in however the wait for the waiter and then the food was long. My comment to my husband was "If they are this slow at half capacity, I cant imagine eating here when the whole restaurant is opened back up". Once the waiter acknowledged us, he was attentive and they did a good job of social distancing everyone.
The food was great but it took over 45 minutes to receive our food. Waitress and staff were great just waited too long to receive our food!

Kona Grill continues to establish itself as our go to place for a great evening. For the first time, we sat outside. The area was excellent, a beautiful night. Our service was excellent with a helpful and attentive waitress. The food and drinks were awesome. So much flavor packed into each bite. A truly joyful experience.

Took quite a long time to get our drinks and food. However, we were not in a hurry, so we actually enjoyed the time together. Food was really good, though the "medium" filet was definitely medium well (or more). The flavor was good. Broccolini was overcooked and very limp. Green beans were very good. Salmon and accompanying sauce (and rice) was the bomb; very flavorful and cooked perfectly. The chicken-on-a-stick appetizer is some of the best, moist chicken I've every eaten. Wait staff, hostess, and managers are VERY personable and friendly. They are the game changer and reason we'll keep going back.

The Macadamia Nut chicken is to die for! Plenty of food and the flavor is awesome. Save room the the carrot cake! 3 people can eat off one piece! Our new favorite place to go in Huntsville!

1) For so few customers in the restaurant it took FOREVER to get our main course.
2) One person in the party ordered an alcoholic drink and that took FOREVER, I asked our waitress twice and she said it was “in the process” - again I need to point out the obvious, there were many empty tables due to the social distancing.
3) Two people in the party ordered ribeye steaks, one of those was supposed to come with asparagus and green beans (no potatoes), it came with the potatoes and no green beans. Also, not only did the waitress NOT ONCE come tell the parties that ordered the ribeyes that there were NO ribeyes available which would have given your guests the opportunity to order something else, but your management took it upon themselves to substitute a much smaller steak for what your guests wanted and we didn’t find out about the shortage of ribeyes until the meals were brought to the table. The parties that ordered these steaks felt the ribeyes would have been a better value for the money than what they were given.
Unfortunately, I’m not sure we will be coming back to Kona Grill.

Made a reservation for my wife’s birthday. We were so happy to be able to finally get around to trying Kona Grill. It did not disappoint. Even though they were operating with a limited menu and under all these new rules, we had a great evening. Food, drink, and atmosphere was all great.

The current health score is 86 and one of the code violations states "several bowls + cups stored with food residue on it" and I received a cup with lipstick on it in two places. Along with that, there was hair rolled up in my cloth napkin and silverware.

Food was fantastic, but took about an hour and a half to get there. Between the server never coming to speak to us, to the manager not being helpful when coming by the table, we just didn't have a single good interaction. My food came out 15 minutes before my dates, by the time theirs came out, mine was cold. Got them to heat it up and it was okay after that

The dumplings appetizer was wonderful! We had the Island ribeye, jambalaya, and stir fry and it was all AMAZING! We then had carrot cake and butter cake for dessert! The carrot cake is so moist and HUGE and the butter cake is really unique and so good with the vanilla bean ice cream!

The service was soooo slow and terrible. It wasn’t just our table because the managers were making their rounds to check on the customers. We arrive six minutes early for our reservation at 7pm and left the restaurant at 8:55pm. We only order two appetizers and teas to drink. We won’t be back.
