    Promptly seated, good service. Food very good. Have a little trouble with a $16.00 gin & tonic, broken down thusly: Hendricks $14.00, Rocks $2.00. Really????? Now I'm paying to have ice in my drink. Overall, an OK place...but wouldn't go out of my way to go back.

    I hate that I can’t give them all 5 stars but the tab for 4 people was $250. The food was amazing and we did have mimosas but with inflation, these restaurant prices are ridiculous. Not really the restaurant’s fault per se but I can’t give a 5 on “value” spending almost $300 with tip for a party of 4 and we wasn’t drinking hard liquor 😂 As for everything else, 5s across the board. The service was excellent, and we had a trainee Tianna as a server. She and her trainer Kayla paid us just enough attention that we had what we needed without feeling rushed. The $3 mimosas were not watered down and the that sweet chili salmon was cooked perfectly.

    I made reservations for five for our daughter last 18th birthday. The restaurant called and confirmed the reservation this afternoon which left me feeling great about trying Kona grill for the first time. We arrived and the hostess greeted us and wished our daughter Happy Birthday which was sweet! This is where things went drastically down. The restaurant was 3/4 empty however we were seated at a 4 top for a party of Five leaving my husband to be banged into time after time. The patio only had two other folks seated out there yet we were placed right in the middle of the patio causing My husband to be ping pong off of as servers walked past him to go to the bar. This was beyond frustrating because we made a reservation! Our server arrived we ordered 2 coke zeros, 2 Jones Cream sodas, and a sweet tea the Coke Zeros and cream soda came no problem. The iced tea came and was a light in Color as water when asked about it the server shrugged. So we proceed to order a spicy tuna roll pretzel side as an appetisers and a coconut shrimp roll for the birthday girl. Since we had never been to Kona Grill it took our party a little extra time. We ordered our dinners which was shrimp tacos for the birthday girl, steak for her sister, fish and chips for hubby, burger and fries for our birthday girls boyfriend, and Pad Thai chicken for me. As we sat waiting for our appetisers our drinks became empty. The server comes back out and explains to the birthday girl that they don’t have any shrimp for the coconut shrimp rolls. So the birthday girl asks if she can get the sunset roll without the shrimp since the restaurant doesn’t have any. The server says absolutely. A very short time later our server brings all of our main dishes out. I asked about the sushi rolls and pretzel rolls that were ordered as an appetiser. So I ask the server about the sushi appetiser and pretzel roll appetisers. We were advised OH yah they are running a little behind so we start on our main courses and

    We booked this for our anniversary and selected a traditional seating for our dinner. So when we ended up on the patio, I was surprised. The setting sun was directly in my eyes 10 mins into our meal, so I had to switch sides of the table so I could take off my sunglasses l. We made it work, but I'm guessing the upstairs didn't have servers? The food was great, and our server was on point. If you're looking for a spot for good food, this is the place. If you're looking for good food and a nice spot for a significant event, maybe not?

    This was our first visit. We celebrated my daughter’s 15th birthday and we very happy with our food. Our server was outstanding! She made our visit a wonderful experience. We definitely plan on visiting again!

    If you’re looking for a nightclub posing as an overpriced restaurant with marginal food quality, this is where to go. 1. The DJ was playing music so loudly we couldn’t hear the waitress or our own table conversation. Constantly had to repeat ourselves. 2. The garlic lemon pasta was flavorless, the pasta over cooked, the shrimp was rubbery and cold, and he entire dish desperately needed salt and acid. 3. The Yamada sushi roll was tasty but nearly every piece fell apart. All the food was drastically overpriced for its median quality. I don’t even pay this much in Chicago for high end sushi. 4. Worst of all, the bartender on the 2nd floor was eating pickles from the same container used for serving customers and was repeatedly using the same fork. This is a bad health risk. I wont return or recommend.

    Everyone was nice but it was very slow it took so long for us to get our food it took so long for us to get our alcohol beverages And mind you it was my birthday I should’ve been top priority it was just not giving that and nobody was even in there. The appetizers was the best thing on the menu

    Food was misprepared TWICE. Server was unattentive and appeared disoriented/“high” on something. Overall experience and value was extremely disappointing; visiting the area for work, however, won’t be back nor recommend to family, friends, or coworkers.

    Perfect server perfect private room perfect environment. I had Baby Back Ribs with fries and some Mac and cheese. Speaking of what I had to eat, the sparkling water was great but the Mac and Cheese was pretty dry and not as big as the online pictures. Overall it was a wonderful experience. I would come here again!

    Food took forever to come out and all came together. Salad, Apps, and Food all arrived at same time expect one meal. The one meal came out 20 minutes after the other food. Music sounded like we were in a night club. Only bright spot was the server, she tried her best to make the best of night for us.

    Went for Happy Hour with my daughter. Everything was going well until we placed a to go order after paying for our meals. We sat there for over 30 minutes waiting for the to go order. Finally I asked another waitress and she said our waiter went on break. He must’ve forgot to put the order in. That stinks because everything was going along well until then. But hey we all make mistakes. But I will still go back and hopefully don’t run into any more mishaps like that. Love their carrot cake!

    There were some big parties where we were sat upstairs. The kitchen must have been slammed we had a long wait for our food. The server was as good and so was the food but entire dinner should not have taken almost 2 hours.

    Great selection across the menu. I had seafood and sushi, my wife had macadamia nut chicken, and both were fantastic. KayKay our server was a lot of fun and took amazing care of us. We are give fans of Kona Grill and will be back often!

    Had reservation but they told us “You can sit at the bar.”, when we arrived. We didn’t get all the food we ordered. The waiter didn’t even ask if I still wanted it, just took it off the bill. I wanted it. I was hungry lol. The bartender was cool though.

    Nope, disorganized, sounds like a cafeteria, for the price not even the ambiance or experience I’m looking for with my family. Liked the former Kona, this is a poor second go around

    It’s a nice place, the food is good. The reason I don’t hardly go there is because the food is definitely overpriced. Only went yesterday because my daughter wanted to go for her birthday and I was treating.

    Took 10 minutes to be seated with no-one there and tables empty and from there it took 25 minutes to get our first drink and 35 minutes to get the second which were draft beers that we asked for 3x and sat at the bar for 20 minutes. Wouldn’t recommend, first restaurant iv been to that attempted to not serve anyone drinks or food for the duration of their visit - business model probably won’t work.

    Hype wasn’t what I expected it to be. Really nice ambiance, the food was the downfall. I ordered the Surf and Turf and although the filet was cooked to the temp I wanted it, it was almost cold and tasteless. As well as the shrimp. It tasted as if someone just put it on the grill to lightly brown it and then they took it off. No seasoning at all. The green beans were over cooked. It wasn’t very busy on the 2nd floor and there was many staff yet the wait between sitting to receiving items was long. And I’m not sure if they were low on desserts but my double stack brownie was a single stack only??

    All around terrible. Made reservations & when we went to our section someone else got sat in our seats so we had to be split between two tables. We all had one set of drinks minus the birthday girl, she did not get her drinks until 5 minutes before we were leaving. Our food took over an hr and a half to get to us (as we were leaving) while 4 other groups had been completely serviced and left. When the food came up it was incorrect for 3/5 of us. The manager then asked my husband to just “take the shrimp off your wagyu & set it aside” & then proceeded to ask AFTER that if he had any allergies. The manager and another server came over to try to make up for things but yet couldn’t get the drink or food order right. We used kiosk to call for our server multiple times and he ignored it the whole evening. Thanks go out to the server who tried to help us out & the managers failed attempts, the birthday dinner was ruined… we could have gotten better service at Texas Roadhouse! Do not recommend
