Overall just ok. Drinks were really good but the food left a lot to be desired.
Ok food, likes the older menus better. Our server was not very knowledgeable on the menus items. Our food request were wrong and she brought our food out of order. She brought the chips and salsa after our appetizer and at the same time as our entree
Not as crowded as it should have been for how good the food was.
Excellent food. Excellent service. Our first time and we will be back!
Always excellent food, service and drinks. Gotta try the clementine calliente.
We had a reservation but were told we’d have to sit outside of the main restaurant - in the coffee shop area. We refused to sit at a high/bar table with stools, so they reluctantly gave us a table, but told us we’d have to eat quickly because the table was reserved for 8:30. WE SHOULD HAVE LEFT AT THAT POINT as things continued to be mediocre for the rest of the evening. Not sure we’ll be returning.
Staff was outstanding and very professional. They treated us amazing. Very hospitable and food was perfect. We had Birria tacos and the grilled pork chop along with the Tamarind Margarita. Definitely recommend.
We were impressed with the new vibe & interiors! A variety of organic tequilas and authentic mexican cuisine is offered with healthy side dishes and accomodating staff! We will certainly return to this uptown gem.
Food and service were good. Restaurant is not totally finished with their remodel yet so looking forward to actual reopening.
What a pleasant surprise. Friend recommended Komali so we were wanting to try something new. What a surprise. It was New Years Eve so it was very busy and quiet loud, but exciting and fun. Food was amazing and the service top notch. We will be go back for sure.
I really enjoy Komali every time I go. I love the chef’s take on seafood
Always very good. Went for dinner but the brunch is always very good.
This was my first time at Komali and I was super impressed. The fall margarita was incredible with the creative combination of apples, rosemary, and cinnamon... Delish! Every dish was beautiful in presentation and tasted even better. I cannot wait to go back. And, who knew that Wednesday was half-price wine!!
We had never eaten here, but had been given a gift certificate. We were very pleasantly surprised ...the food was great and the margaritas fabulous! We felt bad as there was only one other table of guests in there. We hope it was just a slow evening. We will definitely be back!!
This was my second trip to this restaurant. I couldn’t believe they have one dollar Bellinis which are so awesome. I got the Chilaquiles for the second time because they were so good the first time. We got there at 11 and ended up staying for almost 2 hours because it is so quiet and easy to have conversations there.
Great Mexican restaurant in Dallas.
Food and service both top notch. The guacamole was first rate. My date had the relleno and said it was the best she ever had. I had an excellent carne asada
Great food, awesome service. My maracas drink was amazing- I would definitely recommend to friends. Very pleasantly surprised.
What a good find, staff was amazing!
Never disappointed. Creative authentic menu. Always fresh ingredients.
Best experience ever!!!
It was good, but very expensive. Don’t know if I would recommend the food for the price.
Great food and greater service! Our first time and we will definitely go back!
We love Komali! We had the Tamale appetizer, these are very good. Sometimes I just order them as my my main and get a salad with them. This time we all had seafood, the Texas Red fish was wonderful!
I went here with my family and this pleased all, from picky teens to a pescatarian. Appetizers, cocktails, entrees and desserts were all DELICIOUS. My favorite dish was the cochinita pibil. We will definitely be going back!
We had group of 5. All thought meals were exceptional. Victor provided great service!
Outstanding restaurant, easy to see why they are Zagat reviewed and suggested. Food was authentic and as flavorful as I have had in the best of Mexico City. Bar staff went out of there way to bring me their tequila suggestions. By the way, do not miss their house tequila and sangrita. Sorry it took so long to find .
Service was great! Guacamole was very good. Was alittle disappointed in the tamarind margarita...was light on the tequila.
Loved sitting by fireplace on a cold night - food and service were terrific! Komali is definitely a “gem” and I will return again!
Love this place! Great for a girls brunch and birthday dinners! The staff are very friendly and courteous.
We were visiting from NY and wanted to have authentic Mexican food in TX. This was contemporary Mexican food, but it surpassed our expectations. It was so delicious, everything , including the margaritas. I got the tamarind margarita, it was so good. My husband said this was one of the best things he's eaten. I would highly recommend this place .
Throughly enjoyed our first time in the restaurant. Interesting selection of both starters and main courses.
Amazing Mexican food! Really enjoyed our visit.
Highly recommend the deserts. They’re impeccable.
They were really accommodating and got me a dish I was dying to try again—Chiles en nogada. The queso was a great start and my meal was tasty.
Amazing Mexican food. The street corn and quest fundido are superb appetizers, the Margaritas and other drinks are great, and the food is to die for. It’s not your typical Tex-mex — it’s more fusion between interior Mexico food and Tex-Mex. service us friendly and very efficient.
The carne asade was excellent and the service was great. Alejandro you were the best!
We choose this restaurant for a group of 10 friends, our dinner was long overdue and we needed a place that was not super noisy, so we could have conversations. The atmosphere was perfect! The service was attentive, the only hiccup was two people ordered drinks with soda and both times the soda was flat.
The food is delicious, it's authentic Mexican, not Tex-Mex, no queso on the menu. The portions are also a great size, not oversized like so many restaurants. It's good quality, handmade food. Well worth it. Will be back soon.
This was a birthday celebration for an elderly friend. I had requested seating close to door since she uses a walker and also I thought when I mentioned that this was a birthday that we might get a candle on the dessert. They did know about the walker but did not notice the birthday. Otherwise, the food was good and the service was quite good. It is noisy at lunch.
Love the brunch menu at Komali! Great selection of both breakfast and lunch menu items and all are reasonably priced for an upscale atmosphere.
I love this restaurant...authentic...delicious, the chiliquilles are the best I have ever had...PERIOD.
