Great food , great service and a modern ambience. Will definitely recommend this place for a date / anniversary dinner.
Very good trip! Super fresh fish!
I have been dining at Koi for many years. I had not been in a couple of years so I was concerned that the experience may have degraded. I was pleasantly surprised to find it was still relevant and the food and service were both still excellent. Continued success.
Valentines. Very helpful wait staff and was accommodating!
Always a fave when in midtown and wanting great sushi. Fun atmosphere, great options, even has a gluten free menu that was great.
Chris at the front of the house took very good care of us.
Delicious food, so fresh
We had Kinan as our server and he was terrific. The staff was extremely attentive, never missing a beat. The food was very good, the rolls were incredible. The reason for the 4 stars is the drinks. Both people I was with ordered a cocktail and both drinks were mediocre at best and pricey. The red wine selection by the glass is limited in choices. I realize NY is expensive but, out of the 5 choices, one choice was $40 per glass ... that is pure insanity (it was a Cabernet from Napa, but seriously?!), then next was upper $20's. It's a great experience but be careful when ordering as it adds up quickly.
Food was great service was great really nice place but too expensive
TOO LOUD for a conversation. Food was great.
It was probably the best sushi dinner date I have ever experienced. Our server Bre was absolutely excellent and she made my experience at KOI a memorable... she definitely deserves all the praise for a job well done. Her honesty and knowledge of the dishes was great! Thank U Bre!! I hope to see you again one day
Mediocre way over priced sushi that’s looked better than It taste the waitress served the food in minutes in an attempt to get us out earlier even though we arrived 30min early save your time and money and choose another restaurant
Would have given it a 5 star review except for that when we went to leave we waited outside for the Uber. The Uber canceled and we wanted to go back into the hotel lobby while we waited for another since it was 30 degrees. The extremely rude doorman absolutely refused to let us in because we were not guests of the hotel.
Was looking forward to an important business lunch here. The noise level was so high we could not even hear each other speak, and had to ask each other to repeat things over and over. Embarrassing! Food and service were only fair, especially considering the prices . Was surprisingly extremely disappointed by my visit to KOI. Never again.
Food was great. Tables small and crowded. Noise level off the charts.
Way over priced for decent tasting sushi that you could get in any rank and file suburban sushi joint. Ambience is very midtown flashy, and food/service are totally adequate, there are just many better sushi restaurants in NYC at this price point (and below). Offers nothing unique to justify the price.
Good was good. There was a bit of delay with one of our appetizers (crispy rice) that they sold out of and had to make a new batch but they did bring complimentary edamame while we waited.
Overall food was fresh, price wasn’t to bad for Manhattan and I would return again if in the area.
Food was delicious !
Two little ribs for more than $30 plus the fry rice $13
The rice was spicy. Imposible for me to eat and the server asked me how it was. i told him that I can’t eat it and they charged me anyways and didn’t asked to replace it for something else. We paid $233.00 for 4 people. We just had tap water to drink and 1 dessert for the four of us. I will never come back.
Fantastic. Highly recommend
After 15 years still one of the BEST dining experiences in Manhattan. You won’t find better Asian Fusion anywhere!
Amazing food and even better service!
Amazing. The best sushi I’ve had in a really long time. The crispy rice with spicy tuna and avocado was really incredible.
Amazing! food was superb and great service!
Good food, good service, very friendly staff!
This is our go to place for dinner and drinks. The food is consistently good - the salmon carpaccio is incredible - and the drinks, service, and energy make it a good time.
The food was fantastic with a mixture of traditional sushi and tasty creative seafood dishes. The ambiance of this restaurant is wonderful, but what made our evening special is the service we received from our sever, Illian and their manager, Yaya. They were attentive, engaging and made us feel special. This was truly a unique dining experience.
loved the entire experience!
wait staff superb!
the food was fantastic!
I dined at Koi for the first time to celebrate a dear friend’s birthday. The experience was superb from start to finish. The food tasted like manna from Heaven and the service was excellent. I will most certainly be back for the Koi experience.
The best experience in a long time. Michael was our server and he was exceptional. Thank you Michael for making this an unforgettable experience for my friend and I. The svc was top notch. Next time will ask for you again :)
Loud. Expensive. Not bad food
Great evening , delicious food , charming server and romantic atmosphere
Great sushi. Great service. Food came out fast and fresh.
All was pleasant, especially attentive waiter.
My husband and I visited Koi for his 30th birthday. The food was absolutely wonderful. We had the salmon tartar on crispy rice and tuna with foie gras as apps, and I had a sushi roll and he had the duck for dinner. Dessert was the trio of house made icecreams. Craft drinks were on point. Great experience.
A little overpriced but the food was tasty and service good. Bustling and lots of space. There’s also a great bar downstairs to try afterwards with great cocktails.
Servers forgot about one meal. The seating was quite tight for eight - coach in an airplane has more room.
Great for a fun night out with friends! Yummy food, great service, good vibe. Loved Koi when I lived in LA and so happy there’s one in NYC too!
Amazing service. Food was absolutely delicious. Love Koi!
