love koi as always !
we had a good dinner
The management and service was excellent. Food of corse awesome
koi is always fantastic. one of my favourites in LA.
Amazing GM, staff, Managers!! Fantastic food!
Great tasting sashimi!! Not so excited about the filet, but then again it’s not a steak house. Cocktails were delicious.
The best service!!!
We have been coming to Koi for many years, one of our favs!
We truly love it here!
Variety of Sake.
Friendly stuff !
Food was also fresh and tasty.
We had a delicious dinner and the service was outstanding!
Overpriced and not that good.
Great sushi and place
Dark, hip, and beautiful. Lovely outside patio. Busy inside but noise level is manageable. Two of us had sushi - very fresh. The other had sea bass which was a large portion and delicious. For dessert we shared a Koi sundae which was more than enough for three people and spectacular in presentation. Joey, our server was friendly and attentive. A fun evening.
The food, atmosphere, and service were top notch. The icing on the cake for me was that the manager went out of his way outside of business hours to return my credit card to me at my hotel!! This just goes to show that they go above and beyond for their customers. Our party of 4 felt very comfortable and welcome from beginning to end. I could not be more happier with the experience and will return i the near future.
Food was amazing, service was first class!
Not a true Japanese restaurant - more of a lounge bar where you can have a drink and pretend you know cool asian food
Great chefs and staff.
It was the worst experience I every had . We was treated so poorly, manager was rude and violent , he had attitude and was aggressive with us . Very unprofessional , fast food places have better services then this place. I used to come there very often but lately it’s was getting worse and worse and this is definitely last time I was there. Place is entry to because people don’t want to be there and now I understand why. And this manager he shouldn’t be let near people at all ! Maybe only in some criminal boot camp or something like that.
Been coming here on and off for years because of the ambiance, but honestly it's way overpriced and food is not that great. I wouldn't come again.
Very cool and modern restaurant in the heart of West Hollywood. The Sushi and the Crispy Rice were amazing. The owner was very friendly and removed from my bill a piece of sushi that I didn't like.
100% suggested if you want to pass a night in a cool spot in LA
I had to wait a long time to get my table. But service was incredible
I love koi. It’s one of my fav places in LA, such a bummer that it was almost empty, I love the atmosphere there. Anyway, it was a great dinner
Koi was beautiful inside, service was wonderful, food was good, definitely not inexpensive
Great food and service
Koi never disappoints. We have been coming to Koi for years and it is always the perfect combination of wonderfully prepared food, ambiance and service. You get to know everyone from Ricky to Zack, Tony, Angelo and you are treated like family! Everyone I bring there is delighted with the taste and presentation of the food. Love this place!
It was simply Great! The food, the server was knowledgeable and everything else was top notch?
Not worth the price ! Overall poor taste factor . The shrimp tempura was decent ! Service was nice .. could have done much better with money that I have spent !
Overall one of my best experiences dining out. Joey did an amazing job and was very attentive to my ladies needs. Would come back again and again. Thank you for making it such a great experience
Koi never disappoints. The food and service are wonderful. As regulars, the waitstaff and Manager treat us like family. We love this restaurant!
Food was tasty but did not live up to my memories from a few years ago. Still enjoyed the meal.
Long wait to be seated with a reservation but amazing food & service! Will still go back!
Went to Koi for my birthday. Was not busy but couldn’t see the menu as it was so dimly lit. Our waiter was very nice and had good input. Best dish was salmon carpaccio. Good crab roll and was suggested to dip in the sauce of the salmon. Crispy rice was crispy and not oily. Little flavor. Shishito peppers and dragon roll were too sweet. Liked the tuna tartar but lacking in flavor. There was a roll we liked with a lemon sauce on it. Think asb? Had Avo, cucumber, spicy tuna and maybe yellowtail? Overall pretty good but will probably not go back anytime soon.
Birthday event little loud
It was good quick and some food was cold ... for the amount we paid we were in an out in an hour so that was little disappointing they insisted on taking the food order at one go and everything was just piled on.. ambience was good and it was very loud..
Our server Emily gave great recommendations. Food was excellent. Can’t wait to go back!
