Server messed up a couple times after asking for specific things but not the end of the world
Exceptional attentive complete. service with outstanding food and good advice from waiter.
A tiny setback was slight rudeness from valet Parker but this was quickly forgotten
Bad service long wait for drinks
This ain’t real sushi. Overpriced for run of the mill pieces of fish. Meh. Very loud lots of kids playing video games loudly without headphones .
Amazing!!! We booked Koi to celebrate my daughters 21st birthday and we loved it!!! The food , service and ambiance were outstanding! Highly recommend this restaurant.
Had a reservation at 9:15.... wasn’t sat till 10:30
Absolutely horrible. We had a reservation but still waited an hour and ended up just sitting at the bar. The service was terrible they were very rude to us.
We had a reservation for 9 PM. We weren’t seated till 10:20. People who came after us with no reservations were seated before us. When we asked about the wait it looked like they forgot about us.
The host was understandably frustrated and was trying his best as all reservations were behind but we weren’t seated till 9:45pm with an 8:30pm reservation. There aren’t enough seats at the bar so people have to sit outside where it was cold. I understand that Valentines is a busy night but to wait over an hour past my reservation time was a bit extreme. Plus the bartender didn’t know how to make a paper plane, bummer since they have such great whiskeys available. At least the food came out quick and was delicious but it would have been a better experience had they comped some edamame or something for making every reservation wait such an extreme amount of time.
Food was great but waited 45 minutes to sit down
Kiiro roll is A+
Perfect spot in LA for any occasion
それ以外は料理も美味しいしとても評価いいです( ˙꒳˙ )👍✨
Thank you and the team for always making us feel special and welcome. Also the food is always insanely great!
Great food and service.
Great birthday dinner celebration
Amazing food, fantastic staff and beautiful space. Rich the bartender was wonderful! Our reservation was for 8:45 and we waited a bit at the bar which was fantastic. The gentleman who seated us was so apologetic that we had to wait a bit and we truly didn’t mind. The evening was wonderful!
The Manager at the hostess stand was so amazing! His personal touch makes the restaurant!
Overall experience is still good but It’s a bit dark in our seating area. Dim is good but not too dark.
Always on point for the food.
Management is stellar.
My to go place.
Always fun. Let the waiter choose for you and just relax.
Amazing food always! Consistently great. No complaints..I love Koi. 10/10 recommend
Everything was good until my girlfriend miss calculated the tip, honest mistake and the server ran out after her to the valet to ask for a bigger tip. I was disgusted. Won’t be going back
A very good experience, delicious and most important very good service and friendly staff
food was excellent overall. Sunfire roll was fabulous as was the creme brulee with added chocolate. Crispy rice with truffle avocado was to die for. Edamame was a little tough and too little salt. Kobe potstickers and crispy shrimp were great but not as good as the aforementioned items. Service is unbelievably good-----several people making sure you have water, delivering plates but non intrusive. Ambiance excellent.
Koi was excellent- the food was scrumptious and the service impeccable.
I am still dreaming about the black cod - among the most delicious dishes I’ve had.
When we arrived at 6:30 pm, the noise level was good - lively and bearable but by 8 pm, we had to yell across the table to each other.... unfortunate when you are dining in such an elegant venue.
Great place: excellent food and service. Recommended
Always a great experience. Food is amazing. Staff is really exceptional.
Excellent food, drinks and service, this is a hidden gem for sure, I highly recommend this restaurant, I had an awesome dining experience!!!
Came here for birthday celebration. Great ambiance, food and service!
Everything was great accept for waiting 30 mins past our reservation time.
Love Koi, the food and the ambiance are both amazing! The management is warm, friendly and welcoming. They make every meal feel special. Also their salmon carpaccio with truffle oil is my favorite appetizer in Los Angeles.
Great time has by all! Zack is so personable and knowledgeable. Incredible experience!
Terrible food that was overpriced bill was nearly $200 for 2 people. I had 1 glass of wine. Katana, Catch and Nobu are waaaaay better and cheaper. This place was such a huge let down. Our waiter was dry in energy not friendly at all. Waste of time and money :-(
Our waitress was outstanding and The food was prepared perfectly. We love the sitting arrangements where you can actually have a private dinner!!
Outstanding start to finish. The first sushi roll was the best sushi I ever ate- until the second roll arrived. Service was impeccable, crowd was lively. Nothing but terrific.
Awesome, awesome, awesome. Maybe the best sushi restaurant ever.
Koi is our go to place for amazing sushi. We celebrate birthdays as well as go with friends whenever we can. The general manager and the host, David knows us since we are regulars and always greats us and makes sure that everything is perfect. Try the salmon carpaccio with truffle oil. Just incredible. The Resturant is expensive but worth it.
