Koi - Las Vegas

Wow! What an awful experience. The food was decent tasting but the service ruined everything. The waiter was distracted and kept forgetting things. The bartender was awful and watched TV the whole time, not very busy but it still took 38 minutes to get a drink and then it was wrong. We sent it back, still wrong and then we just gave up and sent the drinks back altogether. Half our party never received the drinks they ordered. Thank goodness since the bartender couldn't make ours right. They ordered a beer instead.
Good food, good service, and good time!
The food was wonderful and our server was INCREDIBLE. He was kind, funny, knowledgeable and made for a delightful evening. The only thing we missed was the view.... you used to have an INCREDIBLE view of the strip and the bellagio fountains. We did not know the venue had changed, we did however receieve a phone call about our reservation as we requested those tables by the window, and were told they no longer exist. We decided to keep reservation! All in all an amazing evening! Thank you Koi Las Vegas!!!
Koi was a fabulous experience. The service was incredible and attentive; the food was delicious and elegant; and the atmosphere was enjoyable. I can't say which dish was best because they were all spectacular: spicy salmon roll, tuna roll, shrimp tempura, calamari... Our group had an amazing time and would highly recommend Koi.
Reviews left us a little hesitant about dining at Koi, but it was convenient to the Criss Angel show so we decided to go with it. The food was good, the menu was not at all as pricy as other reviews suggested, and service was great. We were in and out in less than an hour. Glad we chose Koi.
The food was outstanding and so was the service. The waiter was incredibly knowledgeable and right on with each recommendation. I can honestly say, my partner and I are still talking about how amazing it was. We will be back.
The food was outstanding- definitely recommend Kobe potstickers! Our server was wonderful too. Overall a great time!
The sushi quality at Koi was better than anything I have had! It was pretty pricey for the amount of sushi that you get, but the quality was worth it. I ordered the Geleno Roll and I highly recommend it!
The Wagyu Surf and Turf was one of the best rolls I’ve ever had!! Everyone loved their meal- such a great ambience as well!
Jeremy was our waiter and he and his colleagues were fantastic. The food was amazing. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice quiet relaxing meal with brilliant service!
Great food and service! Will be sure to eat here again next time I’m in Las Vegas!
We had the fix prix Groupon for 2. The food is absolutely fantastic but it's too much for just 2 ppl & I feel guilty about the waste :(
The restaurant is so gorgeous, one of my favourites for sure but the service this time was lacking. It was a slow night though so that may have been why. Our bus boy was lovely but the waiter was pretty much non existent.
Service and food always outstanding. Another fine meal at Koi.
The food was out of this world! The service was leas than mediocre. The waitress took forever and than after dropping off the dessert menu disappeared for what seemed forever. We actually thought she was on break lol. We had to tickets to a concert and because she was missing for 20 min we had to skip dessert so we weren't late for the show.
We are Vegas locals and have been a number of times. One of my favorites... the food is always excellent as is the service. A great Japanese/sushi place on the Strip!
Great cocktails, service and food. Check out happy hour specials
We had a terrific dinner at Koi. Our server (Neil) was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant is beautiful. Most importantly, the food was delicious! Especially recommend the Koi crispy rice appetizer with any of the toppings, all amazing.
The food was overpriced for what it was, it was greasy and oily and tasted like it was on the verge of going bad and the restaurant itself is mostly dark with overly bright, obnoxious spotlights shining down on the tables which made it hard for my eyes to adjust. Overall, it was expensive and the food was less than mediocre and the space itself is completely uninviting.
Everything was OK until the end of the meal. Our server Luan K took a sushi order for 3 items...25 minutes later we received two of them and never received the last item. To make up for it he offered my wife a glass of wine...then disappeared not to be seen again. We had to leave the restaurant for a concert. Won’t go to this location again but will still enjoy their NY location which much better service. In addition, when we entered the restaurant it was empty...took over 10-minutes for a server to come to the table then I had to ask twice for a glass of water. So many other better places in Vegas for sushi to spend well over $100.
Excellent meal, server seemed a bit not happy that we had a groupon. Did not come back to us as much as other tables with no groupon. Buss person and runner very friendly. Still tipped well.
Best service, amazing food selection and premium drinks makes this restaurant a must experience.
Great food, friendly staff and service. I’ll definitely be back
Food was great. Mushroom in asparagus/mushroom app were really salty, but everything else was well balanced. Our waitress was really great.
I recommend Los Angeles location. Probably won’t return to Vegas location. Food quality doesn’t hold up to price. Service was Fair at best.
Los Angeles location has been amazing every time we go.
Vegas location only average 4 for 4 times we dined there.
Average bill $500+
Mimi and I come to Vegas to explore food and cocktails. KOI was recommended by a bartender in another club. We are not into places with angry chef owners / partners. We ate at the bar even tho we had a reservation. The bartender was great. We had 2 raw tunas, a sushi plate and the tempura assortment. We had the grilled lamb chops (lollypop) and used the tempura dipping sauce for them. I highly recommend the Rocking Cumber Cocktail. All awesome.
Koi was empty so we had the place to ourselves. The service was good and our server was nice. He seemed a tired or burned out but nice. The food was great, desserts were AMAZING!
Great sushi, extremely formerly staff Jeromy was our server and he was great...Spot on with his recommendations, everything was fresh and great quality can’t wait to come back
Very nice ambiance and tasty food
I like sushi and this was a fun place to try in Las Vegas ! The food and service was great ! Our servers recommendations were good and she was very helpful ! I like sake and the sake flight was fun to try !
Excellent as always go at least ever few months
They did not make my order correctly, but they immediately fixed it.
I can't say enough good things about the food. Everything was fresh, delicious and arrived pretty promptly. I wish I could say the same about our drinks. We waited a while for the first round and even longer for the second. And it was decidedly not packed so its not like there was some unreasonable rush. Understaffed never makes for fun dining. That put a damper on an otherwise good dining experience.
We bought the Groupon special. Very easy to understand Groupon menu. We even added other items to our dining experience, and price was still decent. Very friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable staff. Ambiance is very nice. And tucked away from the casino floor noise.
Very quiet place in the heart of the casino. Good service, the menu focuses on sushi. Decent but not too extensive selection of plates. Ordered the sushi, had a good experience. Portions are medium in size, not large but not small. Speciality drinks were excellent. Great for after the show.
My wife loves the sushi of this restaurant and she doesn't sushi....thank you to Ryan our waiter
Perfect experience, from the food to service to the ambiance - all exceeded expectations. We found Koi on Groupon, and so glad we did because it's tucked away upstairs in Planet Hollywood in a location we never would have found just walking around. And that Groupon was an insane value! We couldn't believe it and Koi ended up (unexpectedly) being one of our top experiences in Vegas.
Was fairly good. The sashimi had a great flavor. Be prepared to spend twice as much as a joint off the Strip for not as good quality. Good atmosphere and service though.
I was excited to eat here because it was touted as a celebrity staple. Honestly, it was mediocre. We visit our local sushi place at home weekly and they, hands down are leaps and bounds better and less expensive than this place. It’s too bad. I was really wanting to like this place. Wouldn’t recommend to travelers.
Beautiful restaurant. Dont go there if you are hungry. Sure its delicious but very small portions no way to cure hunger.
