Best sushi and Thai curry in Greenville! Love the feel of the restaurant and the servers are so friendly.
Authentic food, nice setup and overall great dining experience
The food was delicious and the service was good. environment is grace.
Very good food
This restaurant has very good service. And the food is tasty.
Don’t waste your time or money. Service was nonexistent and 2 out of 3 meals had ZERO taste/flavor.
It was our first time and it felt like it was an off night. The staff delivered the wrong food twice. Food taste good but service was slow.
Waited 30 minutes, waiter never showed. Told the hostess, got moved to another table, and finally got our drink orders taken. After that, no one showed for another 20 minutes. Just got up and left after that.
We went on Valentine’s Day. We had a reservation and were seated fairly quickly. And it went downhill from there. It took 10 minutes for our waiter to get our drink order. It took another 10 minutes to bring our drinks and take our order. I asked for sweetener in my tea and he never brought it. Fortunately, I had some in my purse. It took about 40 minutes to get our soup and salad. My husband didn’t have any silverware and it took forever just to get that. We didn’t get our sushi (only 3 rolls) until we had been there well over an hour-and-a-half.
The food was very good. The service was absolutely terrible. The people next to us left before they got their food because they were tired of waiting. I wouldn’t go back - and I don’t say that often. But it was Valentine’s Day and should’ve been better service than that.
It was Valentine’s Day so everyone made reservations. They seemed under-staffed because we were seated about 25 mins after our reservation. The staff especially our waiter was friendly and was understanding of the time we waited. The food was very good and will be definitely worth coming back (preferably not on Valentine’s Day)
We went on Valentine’s Day, so I’m going to give lots of grace since it was a packed house. The food was amazing. Everything we had, Wontons, Thai coconut soup, sushi. All of it. The atmosphere was also very nice. The service was slow. The front of the house was seating pretty quickly, but there must have been a shortage of servers. It took 25 mins to get our drink order, but it came out quickly. We also ordered our appetizer right away. They came out about 15 mins or so after our drinks which was fine. The sushi was slow to come out, but the rolls were worth the wait. Over all we were there for 2 hours and not because we were slow, it just took that long on the busy night.
We will definitely try to go again to see if the service was due to the busy night. because the food was amazing!!!
Great place for a Valentines Day meal!💌
The food was good but the service was really slow. After we were seated, it took a good 25min for a server to actually come to our table and take our orders. It then took a really long time for the food to actually come. The food itself was good but not good enough to make up for the really mediocre service. All and all, it was a disappointing experience.
Somewhat noisier than usual I think with a party on one side and loud group of people on the other.
Booth had very straight tall backs which hurt my back, but food was good and service very competent.
People were super friendly, there was ample time between courses, and the food was delicious! This will become a frequent place for my family and I to dine at.
Incredibly delicious and nice enviroment! Went here for Father's Day and the whole family was satisfied and enjoyed their food! The service was quick and kind. The environment was peaceful and beautiful. I recommend the coconut fried rice!!! It comes in a pineapple and is so good! All of their fried rice is really good.
It was our first time at Koi and we absolutely loved it! We will definitely be back!
The food was delicious. The service is good and the environment is elegant
We came in at 7:30 and the restaurant was empty. We were concerned by this but more people came in as it got later. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and quiet. Our food was good, though we will try something different next time. I recommend the fried bananas with ice cream!
Our service was incredible, food was fresh and very tasty!
What a GREAT spot... from menu to decor! LOTS to choose from for food and drinks. EVERYTHING we ate was delicious and we look forward to returning many more times.
We always enjoy going to Koi. The food was excellent as always.
Great service, and great food. Definitely will be going back.
Aweome good is always wonderful
Our Chinese student loves Koi. She thinks it is most authentic Chinese in town. We love the American menu options too!
Great Asian restaurant! Make sure to ask about the Authentic Chinese section of the menu.
Great Asian restaurant! I would recommend it to all my friends.
Koi exceeds our expectations on every visit! The food is excellent and the service is very pleasing!
Delicious food and great servive every time! Love their sushi!
Pleasant staff. Good portions and great tastes. Highly recommend the ginger salad and Firecracker Sushi roll！
We had a good dinner and the service was excellent
Great food at great prices. Will definitely return. Highly recommend this place.
We went here for my wife’s 40th birthday. The same person sat us down, bartended, took our order and basically was the only employee we saw the entire time. However, the food was fantastic. Go figure.
While in Greenville we were looking for an asian restaurant to have lunch at. This fit the bill. Expansive menu and choices, quality and taste of food was great, and service was the best.
Koi is one of our favorite restaurants in greenville and it's hard to find anything about the operation to criticize. However, since we seem to wind up there on Thursdays quite often, we are always told we cannot use our discount coupon AND order a 1/2 price bottle of wine. This seems a little excessively harsh and puts both the customer and the table server in an embarrassing situation. Perhaps this policy could be reviewed?
Would have enjoyed sitting outside beside the Koi pond but due to mosquitos we sat inside. Guess we will wait until September. Service was good. Wait staff very knowledgable.
Consistently excellent in every aspect; we make a point of bringing special visiting friends to Koi as a top experience of the Greenville food scene. Service is always "on point" and I routinely leave a 30%+ tip to acknowledge this important fine dining element (+ surprises and rewards the wait staff for their exceptional effort; they are often undervalued, but are the cornerstone that sets the tone of anticipating a unique dining experience. Equally important your party can actually converse in a very elegant atmosphere reflective of the Asian culture.
Koi is a versatile setting superb for a date, anniversary or other special occasion, but also for a dining experience combining excellent and creative food with a special "spin" rarely found in other venues. The curry selections are excellent and I have not had better Duck Penang outside of Bangkok. Not one item will leave you unsatisfied or disappointed.
Great Chinese food and sushi restaurant, comfortable and clean.
