Great selection of Thai food. Good drink selection including beer and wine.
Always so delicious. Good cocktails, and pleasant unobtrusive service
The food is amazing. The pumpkin curry is a must!!
The food and the service are outstanding but you are put off by the small very dirty windows - make you question the cleanliness of the kitchen. They should replace all these windows with large pane glass windows which would be so much easier to keep clean. Also completely help the ambiance of the restaurant - wouldn't recommend to any friend yet because of this.
Very nice folks. Food was good but nothing special.
Went several years ago and the food was much better then this time around. Portions were ok for two dishes but small for the noodle dish, for which they had to substitute other noodles.
We chose this restaurant as it was close to AT&T park and had vegetarian options. We were not disappointed! Great wine, beer and cocktail list. Great apps, main courses and specialty areas of the menu. If you are a fan of Thai fish and seafood, this restaurant seemed to have a large menu foci on these options. We had curry and noodles, both were really good. I would go back again for a pre game meal before a game or a concert at AT&T, it was less than a five minute walk from the park.
Always delicious! Service is consistently good, and we love the food. UPDATED 1-23-18 - I'm very sad to see that this restaurant has closed. What a loss.
One of my favorite Thai restaurants in SF. It has a hip "Thai in a warehouse" vibe that reminds me a little of Indochine in New York. The menu is extensive and there is a full bar. The service is friendly and efficient.
The food and service were excellent. I have been to a lot of thai places but this place was exceptional for it's diverse menu and depth of favor profiles in the various dishes we sampled.
My girlfriend and I have been waiting to try this restaurant for a long time and finally went. Overall we thought the food was excellent and the service was very good as well.we had a marinated fish dish that was not fried and was delicious with the wonderful light sauce. The eggplant was also excellent. We would definitely go back
Awesome food! And service here was wonderful. Very attentive staff and great food for a great price.
The casual atmosphere makes this a great pre-Giants game venue. Wait staff has a Great attitude.
My friends and I work in the neighborhood & randomly picked this restaurant to have dinner at based on the high Yelp reviews.
Well...we were not disappointed! The food was amazing good, and since we arrived at 5pm (opening time) we basically had the restaurant to ourselves.
It was fun to sit at a table by the window and people watch.
I'm DEFINITELY coming here again!!
The food was subpar on every servng. The Pai Tai was gummy with tofu that was fried atleast a day before, the chicken satay was right out of the bag, the fresh rolls were tasteless no matter how much peanut sauce you put on it, and the Pumpkin curry had tons of potatoes in it.
Everything was delicious the appetizers were very good servers was better than expected. The Asian beef however was not hot when It came out and too rare. Otherwise I was pleasantly surprised
This restaurant has declined in the quality of its food from previous experiences. The food was nowhere the same quality as other Thai restaurants in the area. The only items that I would recommend would be the gold box and the corn fritters. The egg rolls were tasteless, the papaya salad had little hint of papaya, and the noodle dish was just average.
Fantastic.... Will be back
Thank you for the great meal, reasonably priced, excellent service.
Great spot to go away from the douchiness of SOMA to get something tranquil and real, great people, true SF.
We waited nearly 30 minutes for a waiter/waitress to even take our drink order. This is just really unfortunate and I hope it was just an off night.
The food was excellent.
Went for NYE dinner. Place was not very crowded, but the service was very slow. We were seated and it was at least 20 min before we had to flag down a server to come over to our table and then had to wait another 10 min before a server came to take our order!
The food was okay, but nothing special, though I would give high marks for the Lamb. The Asian Beef was ordered as medium well but arrived medium rare and too under-cooked for my daughter liking. We tried to grab the attention of our server, but he was nowhere to be found until she showed up with our check
I used to like this restaurant, but the last time I ate here must have been a few years ago. The food quality has gone downhill in my opinion. So has the service. The staff spoke very little English...only one guys was fluent. The gals barely got by.....
One of my dishes, the beef with peanut sauce and spinach, was so bad I had to return it and ordered something else instead. The beef was like a baseball glove.
The tofu pad Thai and the veggie curry were both delicious. Staff were attentive enough. I think I found a piece of chicken in the veggie pad Thai though !
Went after the Cirque du Soleil, as it was local and within walking distance from AT&T. Was immediately seated, but there was a bit of time between being seated and being greeted by our wait staff. After that, all was good. Appetizers/drinks, main courses and a shared green tea ice cream came at a good pace. The food was great - all except the calamari (my quest to taste all calamari finally got me, as I should have stayed with the Thai specialties) which were little deep fried rubber tires. The rest of the dishes were flavorful, with spice where appropriate, and prepared well. We will go back, as there is unexplored territory left on the menu.
Everything went well until we got our bill without the waitress asking us if were having dessert, because it was our co-worker's birthday. On top of that the waitress was loud and very commanding, and said it will take 15-min. until dessert is ready. It took 25-min. It was hard to flag our waitress down and very unfriendly at the end. We been to this place many times and sometimes service is good, sometimes service is bad. We all had the pumpkin curry, spicy, good with rice. The Thai-tea, delicious.
The thai curry was one of the most bland curries I've had - there was clearly too much coconut milk in there. Moreover, the service was quite poor. They need more staff and waiters for their busy lunch hour. Most people were clearly there for business meals - great service is necessary for business meals. We can't take the time to interrupt our clients to ask for more hot sauce, water, the check, or to remove our finished plates from the table. Waiters should take the time to stop at the table and ask how things are going, at least once. I had to flag someone down to order and to get the check (I gave up on flagging someone down for chili sauce).
Overall, wouldn't recommend it to friends for business meals.
I like this place alot for food and ambiance, but went there hoping to watch a Giants game, and their tv had too many reception problems so we left and went across the street to Brickhouse.
Terrible - the waitress refused to serve me and I had to walk out after waiting for 40 mins. She was extremely rude.
Great Asian menu. We had a big variety of dishes and everything was well prepared and delirious. Portions are generous and worth sharing. I enjoyed the ginger chicken and papaya salad. One friend raved about the mussels Service friendly and efficient. Can be a little noisy near the bar
The food was just okay - nothing special whatsoever. There are better Thai restaurants all over the city. The service was just okay too.
It was 7:30 on a Friday night. The dining room was almost empty but the bar had two TVs on and scads of drunk 20-somethings literally screaming at each other. This bar does not belong with this restaurant. I hope they can get their dining crowd back and/or build a soundproof wall between the bar and dining room.
locatiion is great before a Giants game but it was empty inside. The calamari was all stuck together. We've been there a half dozen times but probably last time. Sorry
Average food & nearly empty at dinner time. Maybe it's packed at lunchtime?
Don't eat here!!!! What you see online and what you experience are totally different.
The food was not good. The restaurant was emty and the ambience not good.
We got the chicken satay at first. We we were given four pieces of chicken which were frozen and tasted like plastic. The peanut sauce wasn't very good. We also ordered the beef mango entree. Later we discovered that we had to actually pay for the rice (that in normal restaurants would be simply included with the payment for the dish). I think of it as a total rip off. I do not plan to dine again and do not recommend this to anyone. The waitress said that if we were to come for lunch the rice would be included. Overall, terrible food, over priced, and not a good ambience.
Always fine; never outstanding; good value; ideal for lunch. I'll be back.
Liked the spot. Food was uneven and several dishes were to salty. Can tell it's well liked place but for my first visit was unimpressed.
Food is very good, Service is very good. We come from the east bay as this is one our our favorites !
Great food, great drinks, great service!
Very delicious. Fresh, flavorful and tasty! We tried 3 appetizers- bags of gold, bacon wrapped scallops and corn fritters. They were served piping hot and even the fresh Veges used in the sauces were crispy. Our entrees included beef curry and shrimp with asparagus. Each dish was unique in flavor and texture. Loved it!
Had not been there for a while. Great as ever.
