Kobe Japanese Steakhouse - Altamonte Springs

everything went very well considering there were quite a few of us.

I have already recommended Kobe Japanese steak house to several friends. We will be back!

Great experience for my husband's birthday. Never wanted for a drink refill and the chef was very fun and engaging.

We always go to Kobe’s for my birthday. It’s delicious

Salad had many brown lettuce, had to send back. Server then had an attitude after asking for a fresh salad.

We came for my birthday and didn't realize you had to pre-register with the App to get the birthday discount. I asked the server if they could make an exception but she said she checked w/management and they were unable to. I spoke with the manager directly and she kindly agreed to offer us this discount since we came specifically for that promotion - it was super nice! They went above and beyond by offering the promotion and I'm really grateful. Our server, on the other hand, seemed a little peeved (which I get) and wasn't the warmest to me. Oh well, still a nice time w/family :)

Unfortunately this wasn't my first issue however it was the first time I've had an issue while bring kids... We get seated everything is great it's my party of 4 and an older adult couple thinking to myself great I have a 9yr old and a 10yr old should be smooth sailing... Then a party of 3 sits down in there mid twenty's and orders sake bombs!! Cool whatever but then we proceed with the whole song and show... Like seriously guys I'm sitting here with kids and your glorifying how cool drinking is.... Like seriously not ok not really fair to have to make a parent explain what's going on, especially when the pounding has mortified my child on her 9th birthday... Decent dinner but I wasted a 112 bucks basically and ruined our evening

We had visitors from out of state. They had a blast! Amanda our server was fantastic and fun. We of course had been to Kobe several times but our chef Sato had all kinds of new food entertainment. It was a fun time.

Bartender was rude and seemed miserable. Chef undercooked rice, noodles, veggies and didn't season anything. The overall feeling felt rushed. We've never in the dozens of times dining here felt any of these concerns but for some reason, this night was off.

This place is fantastic! Never disappointing. The Chefs are always entertaining. And the food is awesome. I would highly recommend this for anytime, birthdays, anniversaries or just a regular dining out night. Kudos to the staff!

Everything was great

Good service. The woman that served the salad needs to next time not just dump the dressing. I had a little too much. The cook was good and funny. Made it more enjoyable. Food was really good and cook the way I liked it.

We did not enjoy our experience with Chef Jason at all. Anytime I go back I will specifically request NOT to be at his table. Very arrogant, did not listen to the orders, messed the orders up and we had to tell him correct orders, burnt some items, acted annoyed when we asked for sauces, and completely focused on one party and basically ignored the rest of the table. We love Kobe’s but this was our worst experience.

Great time celebrating birthdays! Energetic environment! And of course, great food!

As we go there many times we aren't surprised by the excellence they provide their customers. Our chef was great and he entertained the adults as well as the children. My grandchildren love going to Kobe's. They are usually the ones that say hey grandpa let's go to Kobe's. I highly recommend if you haven't been please go. After a one time dining experience you will be a regular.

The person who was cooking the food was great but the others that took the order and served the soup and salad was not very happy or nice.

The sushi was good. The person I went with was vegan. We ate at the tepanyaki grill, so soup and salad were part of the meal. However, the onion soup we were told was made with a beef broth and the salad dressing was made with eggs, so my friend couldn’t eat either. We were not given any accommodations. Also, we did not get any shrimp appetizer. Also, the only vegetables my friend got in her meal (ordered the vegetable delight) was carrots and onions while the rest of us got broccoli, carrots, and zucchini. Also, the other Kobe locations I have been to serve a brown sauce with the meal along with the mayo. We were not served any brown sauce, so my friend did not have any sauce with her meal. Not sure why they were so different than other locations, but will NOT be going back to this one.

Always a good time at Kobe's. Lots of energy by the chefs cooking at your table and lots of food! You don't walk away hungry! And a free birthday meal on top if it all!!!

Kenji and Lynn M. we’re wonderful. We had a great time and would request Kenji the next time we go.

We love Kobe, if any suggestion it would be too many people at one table- I had to sit sideways so the person next to me and I had enough leg room. My brother said his phone in his pocket was ringing but he was so sandwiched between people in his seat he couldn’t get it out of his pocket to silence it. :-)

We had a great celebration for my birthday. We love KENJI!!!

My daughter’s 30th birthday

I had my birthday celebration there in 2018. Besides the cupcake, there was a delicious, petite dessert that was better than the cupcakes. They discontinued it sometime ago. It was not offered at my husbands' celebration this week, Sept. 17, 2019. I wish they'ed bring it back. It really topped off the meal.

Great food and personnel are professional and courteous

It was too loud compared to the Kobe in Longwood. The food and the service was good but I would not recommend this location because of the environment.

Server got one food order incorrect (asked for salmon and chicken combo, chef broth out steak and chicken) and received alcoholic beverages when non alcoholic were ordered. We finally got the right things ordered but the inconvenience could have been avoided. Server shared benefits of joining birthday club and I agreed to join but then he never shared additional information.

Kobe dinner was delectable and service was super at the Altamonte Springs location on 8/29/19

They changed how they prepare the food and it was a huge disappointment

This was my first experience, it was amazing! Great staff, quick service! Food was awesome! Literally going to make this a once a month thing!

The food is always amazing. We loved our chef tonight. A poor little girl got hot sauce in her eyes and the staff was very helpful. They all made sure the child was ok. I love the funny things the chef does with the food.

Experience was great but was stuck at a table that had a screaming baby the whole time. Managers did everything to help without asking them to leave which was nice. Younger couple such as us and another couple shouldn’t have been placed with them. Was just the luck of the draw. Kenji our chef was great as always.

We always enjoy the Kobe's experience. We typically dine there for a special occasion and they never fail to deliver a good time and good food. I do feel that their portion sizes are getting a little light and I miss the days long gone when you were given a warm towel prior to your meal. It would be SO great if they would bring back that "special" touch which would set them apart from the other chains.

We celebrate two birthdays in August and both love Kobe’s. It has become tradition for the last 7 years to gather our loved ones and fill a table at Kobe to celebrate! Always delicious and fun.

Our go to place for any occasion and just for fun! Staff is always friendly and food is always yummy!

Great time was had by all. Celebrated my birthday (with my reward) with my family. Who knew they offered early bird prices all day Sunday & not busy at all. Seated & served right away.

Average food, nothing to be amazed. If you wanna eat cheap and a lot it’s good. Now, if you wanna good food, this is not the place. Sorry but this is only for the avarage

You go for the experience and the ambiance but the food is so-so and a real carb overload with Fried Rice, large portion of noodles and potatoes.. - potions of veggies are very small.
