We may be spoiled by steak in Texas but this was nothing special. Salads were drowned in dressing. The A5 wagyu filets had good flavor but were more fat than steak. The wagyu (not A5) filet was tough. Asparagus was over cooked. Definitely not worth the price.

I ordered a $75 Kobe ribeye after asking my waiters opinion. He explained marbling. He also said there was only one left. I ordered it medium rare. I ate 2/3 of it anf left the rest. Its wad excessively fatty. I felt as if I was eating fat and not beef. Ive eaten here before and had a much better experience. I was not happy with the quality of this steak. The salad and rest of the meal was fine.

A5 6 oz. filet - fantastic Salad with house-made walnut dressing - okay—came out with entree, not when it should have Bread - excellent Baked potato - not soft, fluffy and hot Gulf shrimp - too brown Wine - out of requested wine on menu Server was excellent and deficiencies were not her fault. She tried to cover for them. Previous experience at the restaurant a few weeks earlier had been fantastic in every way, so this was a huge disappointment as we had raved about it to our guest. We will give it another try.

Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. The steaks we ordered were absolutely incredible, and one of the best steaks I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve been to several nice steakhouses across the country, so I knew what to expect price/service wise. Everything else we ordered was terrible, our service was sub par, and the bulk outrageous for the quality we received. We got the meatballs as an appetizer. They had zero flavor and came with a watery sauce. It tasted like ground beef rolled into a meat ball with no seasoning topped with cheap jar of tomato sauce. For my side I got the sweet potato “casserole”. This is not a casserole at all, but more like a pureed sweet potato. Again this has absolutely no flavor. It was topped with a “ crème brûlée” cinnamon streusel, but unfortunately tasted like butane. I could go into the poor service or more of the disappointing food, but you get the idea. Overall would not recommend. All together, we ordered the meatball appetizer, a ribeye with two sides and a fillet with two sides, two beers, and one glass of wine. Our total was $250.

You can definitely taste the difference now. I am very glad you loved Wagyu steaks. We have wide range of steak choices. From A5 very competitively priced, all the way to upper choice $32 options on filet.

Amazing food. My steak was undercooked and before I said anything my server walked past and immediately said that’s not cooked correctly. She was amazing I wish I remembered her name. She apologized multiple times and fixed it immediately. Managers came by to check on us and held small conversation which was sweet.

The service and food were absolutely amazing!! The exterior looks very different from the interior, if I hadn’t read the reviews, I probably would not have gone there based on the exterior bc it looks kind of kitchy with the palm trees. But the interior is like a classic nice steakhouse and the food was absolutely delicious and the staff and owner delivered top notch service!! We will be back!!
