Great food, great service
Easily one of Knoxville's premier restaurants. We had a great time, enjoyed the food and the service on the coolest patio in town.
Excellent evening! Loved the balcony setting!
The food is always amazing! We always enjoy our dinners at Knox Mason. We appreciate that they follow social distancing and COVID protocols so well. John was our server and he is amazing. Only thing - our table was close to the patio door and every time it opened - it was like an arctic blast.
We have loved Knox Mason since it’s conception. Our favorite about KM are the people. Brooke was amazing and made us feel like a guest in her own home...Eric was wonderful as always...and John was another positive to the entire environment. Always a hood time a d always good food.
This place was overpriced and there was only alcohol and water for the drinks. Very few items on the menu. The chicken was very hard on the outside.
Great food, very friendly staff and always a fun night out.
Great place to eat! The service was awesome and the quality was exactly what we were expecting. Would recommend!
Our waiter (John) was excellent and very candid about menu selections (although the menu is very quaint). I ordered the Springer Mountain Half Chicken with Mac & Cheese as my side. The chicken was very flavorful while the Mac and cheese was very disappointing. If it wasn’t for the waiter, I’d probably never revisit just because IMO it’s not worth the spend.
I try to follow a vegan diet and Knox Mason was very accommodating! My custom meal was delicious! My husband loved his wedge and wings, as well. Impeccable service! My only suggestion would be to have more local craft beer options on the menu. Looking forward to our return!
We enjoyed our meal! Loved the appetizers and main dishes. The server, John, was excellent!!. We will definitely be back!
Table was ready upon arrival. Attentive service. Creative menu and delicious food. We will return!
All around great experience!
My daughter was in town and we made reservations for the porch on a 30-something degree cold Saturday night. We were seated right next to a large heater and with our jackets on, were very comfortable. We felt safe, the food and service was impeccable and in all, had a wonderful dinner. There were only about 5 tables out there and they were not full.
Very disappointed in a place that bills itself as "upscale dining." Our appetizer did not arrive until our food did. The wine menu is lack-luster. The atmosphere is not great and puts you right over a hotel lobby. Our server was terrible.
I will say our food was quite good, but there are much better steaks in Knoxville for the price ($60/head).
Always an excellent dining experience at Knox Mason. Quality food and exceptional service (hats off to Kim).
If you like eclectic farm to table food then this is the place to be. Service was good and the food fantastic. Located in the Embassy Suites downtown Knoxville with a good view and a cool vibe.
Very unique food and appetizers are especially tasty.
This was a fantastic meal with fabulous service.
It’s probably Covid, but it just was not what it has been. Love Knox
Lovely NEW YEARS EVE DINNER!!!! Excellent dining experience and the food was awesome!!!
Great service and location but food did not meet our expectations.. overpriced for portion and the scallop special was not good at all.
We were on vacation for a long weekend. Had lovely view of Knoxville, great food, excellent waitress with wonderful surroundings
The food was wonderful as usual. The staff was extremely COVID-safe as wells as attentive. The balcony overlooking Gay Street is perfect except the occasional Trolley noise. Highly recommended.
First time here and we have found a new favorite! Food was spot-on - Southern done well and our favorite kind of menu: a few “twists,” but nothing super weird. Ate outside on an unseasonably warm night with the heaters on and it was perfect! Best seat in the house overlooking Gay Street. If they have snickerdoodle whoopie pies for dessert, do NOT pass them up! One of the best desserts we have had in a long time. Highly recommend and we will make this a regular in our downtown eating rotation.
Another wonderful dining experience at Knox Mason. Our waiter was attentive and helpful with menu selections. Everything we ordered was delicious.
Everything that we ordered was amazing. Deviled eggs, Wedge salad, squash salad, half chicken with Brussel sprouts...it was all incredible. We will definitely be back!
We planned a special dinner with some friends . The food options were very limited I’m guessing due to COVID
. The drink options were ok nothing special but luckily they have the roof top bar. Overall it was nice to experience once!
The food was so fresh! Fantastic smash burgers. Service was speedy and friendly :) The ambience is so beautiful. We sat next to the window overlooking Gay Street. All the Christmas lights were amazing!
Food was amazing! The pork rinds were still sizzling as they arrived at the table. So good!!
Always a great experience! Sat on the balcony/patio with heaters and it was lovely!
This is not the same restaurant that used to be on the 100 Block. This was the first time we had been since the move and to say we were disappointed would be an understatement. Waitstaff were inattentive. My wife and I sat with empty drinks for 10 or 15 minutes. My cocktail was poorly mixed, and the food simply was not nearly as good as it used to be. My steak was fatty (it was a ribeye, so I’ll give a bit of a pass on this, but could have been a better cut), charred, and unseasoned. My fingerling potatoes were well cooked, but were completely unseasoned, the sweet potatoes were virtually raw. My wife’s gumbo was relatively bland. All you could taste was the beef stock. The bread that it was served with was burnt, not toasted. I will give credit to our appetizers. The wings, while not exactly my ideal flavor in wings, were tasty and perfectly cooked. My wife devoured he Mac and cheese, and loved every bite. That was the only highlight of a sadly underwhelming meal. I miss the real Knox Mason and I don’t think we’ll be back.
My husband and I brought friends for their first time there over the weekend. Everything was amazing as usual!! Friends already want to know when we’re going back!!
The food was really good and the service was even better. A very nice dining experience.
Outdoor seating was great and heaters did the job. Little noisy but its the City
We had a very enjoyable evening. The server was outstanding. I loved the wedge salad, and the pork belly was very good. The accompaniments were a little to sweet for me. I would have loved to have a lighter dessert as one of the choices, but enjoyed the coffee. All in all a pleasant experience.
We chose Knox Mason because of their adherence to COVID safety protocols. We were impressed that all staff wore masks properly and that they required patrons to wear them while walking around. The tables were nicely spread out and everything was spotless. This was our first indoor dining experience since March and we felt very safe there. The food and the service were impeccable. Every course was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. Our waiter gave us great suggestions and was very attentive. We loved every minute of our date night here. We will definitely be back!
Ah, what a beautiful establishment. Love saturated the air within the entire restaurant. The magnificent hostess even paid homage to my classic rock shirt. Oh, how I desire to return to Knox Mason the coming blood moon.
Always have great service but food has been inconsistent since the move. Disappointed this go round.
This was our first visit to Knox Mason for all 4 of us. The host and server were polite and very efficient. The food exceeded our expectation! They have a nice balcony overlooking Gay Street and we would have sat there but it was a little too cool for us that evening. Instead, the host seated us at the only 4 top in the restaurant with a view of the street life. It was a nice, enjoyable evening and we will visit Knox Mason again!
