Knight's Steakhouse - Jackson
The food was fabulous. The service was a little slow at times but part of that is it's a place to take your time and have lots of conversations and time with your company. We just happened to be in a bit of a time crunch
50th birthday dinner. I called ahead and ordered their specialty cheesecake for dessert. They brought it out with candles.
I have a lot of out of town guests, and this is my go to place to eat no matter what occasion. Never had a bad meal.
My favorite place in Jackson -great food and atmosphere
Was disappointed in the entire evening! Probably was just an off night for me! It was a birthday dinner and it was not as fine dining as it used to be. Waitress seemed frazzled and not groomed to feel like we were at a nice dining restaurant. Food was a bit on cool side. Salad was not fresh! I will be back however
It was resplendent!
1st time visit.. Food was excellent. However, had to send 2 Prime Rib back because of being served cold. No issues getting the food heated. Meat on the ribs fell off the bone. Very pleased with seating,, making reservations and taste of food. Would go again the next time I am in town.
Knights has great food, unmatched in its consistency and good service. Best dining experience in Jackson county.
Food was ok. Steak was undercooked. They took it back for 2 minutes and brought it back still wrong. I went ahead and ate it anyway. Potato tasted old, but I still are it.
loved the food and our waiter was very attentive my only issue was where we were seated it was our anniversary dinner and I would have preferred someone else in the restaurant.
My mother appreciates fine dining. We appreciated the attention my mother was given and always enjoy our evenings at Knights!
Food was good, service was okay. Overall, a good dinner.
It was nice but nothing to write home about.
They lost my reservation and we were not seated where I requested.
The only negative was that the greeter at first ignored our party as he was in a conversation with what appeared to be an acquaintance/customer. Didn't even say I'll be right with you, was a little rude to not acknowledge our party as we we standing mere inches from the check-in area. It isn't a deal breaker but wasn't a great start to our experience. We'll be back.
3 out of 4 meals were great. The stuffed chicken special, which I had, was terrible. Would not recommend.
Server was excellent.
When we got to Knights they did not have our OpenTable reservation, however, they put us at the top of the list and we were seated within five minutes of arriving. The food was great as always! One of Jackson's best restaurants.
My food pecan chicken was too sweet & tuff
One of our guest,s whitefish was dry.
The only complaint, really more of a concern, we us ed Open Table for our reservation and they couldn't find us. However, because it was before the busy crowd we were able to get a table. I made the reservation for 6:30 at noon, then the basketball game looked like it would get over really early so I changed it the 6:00 around 4:00; so am surprised that our name was not on the reservation list. This happened last year too. We travel two-and-half hours to watch basketball and found this resteraunt last year by looking on TripAdvisor; I used Open Table to put in reservation that time also and had the same experience where our name did not come up. We were still able to be seated but they only had that one table open last year.
The Knight Family are the true definition of "Restaurateur's" . Outstanding value, service and great tasting food. The Knights "pour" might be the favorite part of my visit!
WHEN YOU MAKE A ONLINE RESERVATION WHEN YOU COME IN THEY PUT YOU AT THE BOTTOM OF THE LIST THEY DO NOT KEEP YOUR TIME
Great dinner, but did not have a record of our reservation made on Open Table when we arrived.
Wasn’t the best presence seeing that I was the only minority in the place.
This was my first time at Knight's. I do not eat red meat or chicken so I didn't think there would be much on the menu for me. I was wrong. There were several seafood and non-meat choices for dinner. The food was exceptional, the service was great and the atmosphere was quiet, comfortable and elegant. I took my granddaughter to see the Nutcracker at the college so we choose a spot close to the campus. I was pleasantly surprise and will definitely return.
A classic steak house! Like stepping back in time when a relaxing meal and excellent service where the norm. We went on a Saturday night. Not as busy as expected (poor weather) but we did make reservations on a recommendation. Very good food and service. Highly recommended!
Great meal and great service. The steak we ordered was a little overcooked but still extremely tender and flavorful. Really enjoyed the salmon and the fresh vegetables.
Wife and I ordered chicken marsala, french onion soup, and long island ice tea's. Chicken breasts were over cooked, dry and chewy, sauce was bland, vegetables were rubbery, french onion was pretty good. My water glass had lipstick on the rim, a lot of flies were swarming around the restaurant. Ambience was not the best, was hoping for a more romantic date night setting. Waitress at other tables seemed rude and annoyed, and talked very loud. Our waitress seemed good, which is why the 3 stars, that and our long island's were good.
We had high expectations for Knight's and was let down. We will not be returning. Way overpriced for what you get, neither the wife nor I finished our food and didn't ask for a box to take home.
Enjoyed our visit with friends. Good service only issue was entrees arrived while we were still eating our salads. Minor, however. Would definitely recommend it to others.
Have had dinner at Knights several times and it has always been great. I highly recommend it for a good dinner for family or friends. The food is excellent and the service is always on point. They take good care of their customers.
