Everything was fantastic! The food and the ambiance were on point but then in the last 5 minutes of our stay the manager came over and told us “they need the table” and he would buy us a dessert drink (to basically leave). We just got up and left. It was his delivery that was terrible. We literally had a sip of wine left. Patience little one.
Very disappointed we will not be going back here. Steak was so salty it burned my tongue and couldn't eat it. The tar tar was terrible, would have guessed it to be ground chuck with grizzle in it. The breads that were served could chip your teeth. My wife ordered the crab and that was edible. We really looked forward to eating here since Victorian Alberts is still closed but if you want a good steak better stick with Charlies steak house. We went to Charlies on sat night just so we could have a good meal for the weekend.
Good afternoon, I am very sorry to hear about your experience at Knife & Spoon. We never want anyone to have a sub-par meal at our restaurant. I would like to know what we can do to make it up to you. Thank you for your time. Colin Burke General Manager
The staff was incredible and the food was amazing. Loved our experience.
One of the best meals I’ve ever had. Everything was excellent.
This was probably the best restaurant I have eaten at in some time. The food was incredible and the service I received was top notch. If you can get a chance to try you must .
Michael, Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience. We appreciate your comments and I will share them with the team! Colin Burke General Manager
Absolutely exquisite!! The food and service are second to none. It’s been a week since we dined here and I’m still talking about it. I My bf who is challenging to please, had a big smile on his face the entire time. I had 2 absolute favorite restaurants and now I have a third!!
Great staff at the bar. Could not get a ride back to the JW. Need to get that FIXED soon.
Absolutely amazing experience... The staff is excellent and really work to make you feel special. The steak was one of the best I’ve ever had, I will be back.
Excellent food, nicely social distanced. Very nice experience with great service
Had my fair well dinner here a few nights ago and it absolutely exceeded my expectations! The food was incredible, service was spot on, and the restaurant was gorgeous!!
A more casual atmosphere than the old Ritz. Food outstanding. Splurge on the 45 day old bone in ribeye. The beet salad was to die for. Steak Tartare so good. And the grand marnier soufflé's was excellent. Service was as expected for a Ritz restaurant.
The menu is very eceltic. While it might be art on a plate food is only so good. The food is overpriced. $18 for a martini? Fill the glass! Pretentious sums it up.
What amazing experience. This is fine dining at its best. The staff were there for whatever my family needed. My daughters both ate a generous filet off the kids menu and I had the whole dish which was amazing!! Bread service, pre dessert and a pre appetizer added over the top touches that I look forward to enjoying again. I almost forgot my wife’s table side cheese course that was delicious.
What an amazing dining experience! Great staff from Alexa at the bar to the servers and management team! Food & presentation was out of this world! Will definitely be back and have already recommended to many friends!
Wonderful service. Probably the best service in town and the only place to get this great aged beef. Very pricey but that is expected
Worst service I have had in years! We waited over 15 minutes for drinks. Then we waited over 20 minutes for raw oysters. They then brought out our salads while we were still working on the oysters. The best thing we had was the salad. Waste of time and money. We will never go back.
Incredible service! Food was good and atmosphere was lovely.
The meal was fantastic. From the service to the cocktails and, of course, the food, I could not be more pleased.
Lovely meal. Matt, Sara and Gerardo were attentive and approachable. Their descriptions of the chef’s preparations were on point and their recommendations hit the mark every time. The Chef de Cuisine’s creations highlighted the freshness of each offering elevating the taste, texture and presentation of each dish.
A true dining experience to be savored and remembered.
Excelente services 👍
Amazing food and service. But very expensive. Worth it for the 45 day aged steak.
We went for a friends birthday dinner. Expected a nice steak restaurant instead it felt like we were dining in a cafeteria. It was loud and wide open. Food was overpriced and honestly not with the 300$ spent, and that was sharing a 10oz steak between the three of us and sides.
We have been waiting for the replacement for Norman’s for quite some time. The difference in the restaurant is pretty stark. The space is now much more open and bright, though slightly more casual an atmosphere than I would expect from a high-end restaurant. It is an expensive experience, but you already know that going in. The service was impeccable and the food was fantastic (save their overdoing it on the salad dressings). If you’re a steak fan, then Knife & Spoon is your place. With many different cuts and sizes—all very nicely aged—you will surely find something that fills the bill. The aging imparts a noticeable and welcome flavor enhancement. We paired our filet with the caviar potato pave (think one-inch French fries with a truffle sauce and caviar), which was excellent. Our daughter had their kid’s macaroni and cheese. This may sound absurd, but they did a very nice job with that, as well. Too many high-end restaurants overdo it when it comes to mac-n-cheese, using cheeses that are far too advanced for a child’s palette. Theirs was excellent, using mostly white cheddar. The cocktails were also spot-on. Though a big bourbon/rye fan, I stayed away from the overly-priced make-your-own-Manhattan cart, and opted to try their version of an Old Fashioned. I tend to not like most restaurants’ gimmicky efforts at Old Fashioneds, but Knife & Spoon’s is worth a try. The searing of the orange imparts a nice flavor, without making things too sweet or smoky (which are the gimmicks most restaurants try), and still allows the bourbon to dominate. My wife had a Paloma. For dessert, my wife won with her choice of the soufflé—it was perfect. I had the Caramel, which was nice, but wasn’t the soufflé. Finally, we sat at the table closest to the kitchen. The Chef de Cuisine ran the kitchen with a calm and controlled demeanor that was strikingly different than most any other restaurant I’ve seen—it was really something to watch. All-in-all, Knife & Spoon was a great experience.
Jason, Thank you for all of the kind words about your experience at Knife & Spoon! We are all glad you enjoyed your time with us. We look forward to your next visit! Colin Burke General Manager
Knife and Spoon was an elegant, wonderful meal. Service was excellent
It was the night of our engagement and they took very good care of us! We felt very special and the food was exquisite!
Just very elegant!!
We sat at the bar for dinner. Alexa and Anna were amazing, very knowledgeable and super friendly. Was a little surprised by the aged steak prices 😬 but the husband and I split one and it was hands down delicious! This is a special occasion place and major splurge. That said we had a great time and will definitely be back when we have another special event.
Great food and ambiance!
The service was impeccable. The food was amazing. I can’t not wait to go back.
Wonderful food and service. It was a memorable meal for our anniversary.
We were guests in the hotel and were entertaining a business client. We had a wonderful dining experience and plan to return. I loved the decor!
Definitely not worth the exorbitant prices.
It’s a true dining experience- look forward to going back
The food is fantastic with great presentation and amazing flavor. The service is unmatched. We’ve had the pleasure of being paired with Ronson for service that last two times we’ve visited. His attention is amazing!! His recommendations are on point!! The cadence he brings food out is superb!! The entire team there was fantastic both times we’ve been.
Francisco, Thank you so much for your lovely comments! We are so glad you enjoyed your experience at Knife & Spoon. I will pass along your comments to the team and Romilson in particular. We look forward to seeing you soon! Colin Burke General Manager
My wife and I went for Valentine's Day and it was a wonderful experience. The service was top notch and the food was excellent. My wife said she liked Knife and Spoon better than Norman's (the previous restaurant in this space).
As far elevated dining in Orlando goes this place is a huge cut above the rest. As a New Yorker, this was the best steak I’ve had.
Good food, but nothing remarkable. Service and quality are not a match with final bill. They were out of the creole dish at 6:30 pm and had to ask several times for drink order. Received a complimentary dessert and was not asked if I would like anything additional such as dessert, coffee or after dinner drinks. Portion sizes are small specifically on mezzalluna. We had the crudo, the seared king crab, the sheep’s head special and mezzaluna. All in All not the most spectacular birthday dinner.
Nikki, I am very sorry to hear your experience at Knife & Spoon was not up to your expectations. I apologize that we ran out of a dish you were interested in and that your drinks took too long to get ordered. We would love to have the opportunity to serve you again. Please let me know if there is anything we can do to make it up to you. Colin Burke General Manager
Service was top notch, food was great, especially the cheese demonstration. You'll have a hard time discerning the type of restaurant Knife and Spoon aims for though. You get a very distinctive seafood vibe, but the menu boasts a plentiful steak selection with a notable wine list. We went for seafood and pasta which is what you tend to think about stepping into the knife and spoon, but will definitely be back and try the steak...
Service was amazing! The food was good; but expected a little more for the price.
