I had the swordfish on orzo. It was relatively bland. I should have but didn’t ask for salt. That might have helped. I prefer Rosalina’s but I’m also not a huge fan of Greek food. My friend had lamb chops and she liked them. She’s more of a foodie than I am.
Decided to try Kleo's for a casual date on our anniversary. Very loud, but a fun atmosphere, great service and Greek food that reminded us of home. The cocktails took no prisoners!
Kleos is AMAZING in all ways! A+ in every category. I never realized I liked Greek food till I dined here. Absolutely and perfectly delicious. Great ambience and a nice bar. Friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back!
Loved the look of the restaurant. Food was salty. However, my main disappointment was being charged $2.00 for the ice that I asked to have added to my drink. I would recommend this restaurant with the caveat that the food is good but tends to be on the salty side and that they should ask if there is additional charge for any change they may request.
Enjoyed dinner at Kleos before attending a show at PPAC..it was fabulous! This was our first visit here but definitely not our last. Service was excellent, food was amazing and the decor was eclectic and charming at the same time. Huge serving of Greek lasagna for my husband and a delicious gyro for me. Even though we were both full, we shared the baklava for dessert...it was perfect. Alejandro was our waiter..he was efficient, knowledgeable and attentive. Can't wait to go back..and it was less than a five minute walk to the theater!
Welcoming server, delightful decor, excellent food. I will return - soon!
Everything about Kleos was top notch. They made Mother's Day an exceptional occasion.
Went for Mother’s Day lunch, the complimentary mimosas for the ladies was a wonderful touch. The food was delicious! Wish the hummus plate had more naan bread but the waitress was kind enough to bring more over when she saw we ran out and had hummus left. Decor is adorable, staff was very nice. RI lacks in quantity of Greek restaurants and Kleos is exactly what the city was missing! Will definitely be back!
Had a wonderful experience at Kleo's on a recent trip to Providence. The food and energy were great. Can't wait to go back.
I've been to Kleos twice, and both meals have been outstanding. On the first trip, we shared the saganaki appetizer and I had the pasticcio (like a Greek lasagna), which was ample enough to have left over for lunch the next day. On the second trip we had the saganaki again, because it was so good. We split the mixed grill, which was perfect for two. Everything was delicious, the servers are wonderful, and the decor is beautiful.
Appetizers were good. Entrees not quite as expected. Sort of had the impression staff were getting ready to leave. I would try them again.
We ordered the meze platter and it was plenty of food for two people (rounded out with a side of greens and, of course, dessert). This has become one of my very top spots in Providence.
It is a good idea to make a reservation on a weekend evening. We were seated promptly and, since the interior space was rather noisy and we were looking forward to conversation among the 4 of us, we elected to sit at a table adjacent to the outdoors. The Tower appetizer was delicious and consisted of zuccini and eggplant lightly breaded and fried and served with a yogurt sauce; my moussaka was a large portion and very tasty, and my date's gyro was equally good. Nice flavors, generous portions and friendly service with reasonable prices makes this downtown eatery a place to visit again.
The food is always great here as well as outstanding service.
Third time at this restaurant and it continues to be very good. Good food and service. The server thoroughly answered questions about ingredients which helped us make our choices. We started with Fried Calamari (may as well try it at every restaurant in the city!). We enjoyed a salmon special and a gyro plate (with fries and a cold veggie bowl. We had a spanakopita side dish and were too full for dessert. Great spot - I highly recommend it.
Good food. Very good waiter but still do not have enough servers. Not sure why.
My second visit to Kleos and I was not disappointed. The food is fantastic, the service is great, and the location is awesome if you're looking to grab a sit-down bite before a show at the PPAC. One of the best Greek restaurants I've ever eaten at, and a favorite of my boyfriend and I's in Providence. Need to remember to see if the olive oil can be purchased to-go; it's incredible on its own!
There was a large party behind us with many small children & babies which we were not crazy about. Our server got very busy while we were eating and it became difficult to get attention. He served us coffee and never cleared our dirty plates - even when we came back with bill. We have received much better service on earlier visits.
Wonderful, finally a Greek restaurant in PVD
We heard very good things about Kleos and thought we give it a try. Everything was great. Look forward to going back another time. Appetizers and entrées were enjoyed by everyone and we all got something a little different. My mother used to make baklava and spanakopita. I tried Kleos versions and I give them two thumbs up. they are as good or better than my mothers!
The Moussaka was excellent, Ceviche was very tasty but the portion was quite small, Octopus was cooked perfectly nice char on the outside Although it should be paired with something else maybe some beans, the pita sampler with various spreads was very tasty we liked the tazikie and Baba ghanouj the best.
Excellent food, generous portions, stylish setting.
Food was good- the dish with prawns in it should have had the prawns sliced on the back so they could easily be peeled - instead it was a mess with cream sauce all over my hands, etc. Little pieces of leg parts in my dish - YUCK!
The rest of the food was all very good - the Greek beer especially good but the glass smelled of soap.
Nice decor - reminded me of Martha Stewart.
Great food, service and atmosphere
great food! great service ! Overall great experience as the food was authentic and delicious.
I had high hopes for this place and it ended up being mediocre. Enjoyable ambiance but things were a little too slow.
Great find, really enjoyed
Beautiful food. Had a really lovely night.
Good wine list
Serves were probably a bit big.
Great service and even better food and wine. 10/10 will return many times. The place has a very interesting concept. The calamari was the best I’ve ever had. The porterhouse was reasonably priced and also delicious.
Food and service were both fantastic. Had a reservation and was seated right away. Large menu to choose from for both drinks and food. We were celebrating a birthday and were given a complimentary desert.
Was an all around positive experience! Loved that we felt the food was authentic but had something for everyone!
I am from Europe and was so excited to find out there was a Greek restaurant in Providence. The experience didn't disappoint. The only thing I didn't like is that I was charged $3 for an extra serving of the tsatsiki sauce. Thought that was unprofessional at a restaurant like yours.
The ambiance and service were great! I would recommend the restaurant but will mention my above comment.
Don’t think I’ve ever done this before but there’s a first for everything! We walked into this restaurant and the (unfriendly) hostess took us to a table that was near the kitchen and not really with the rest of the diners. It was incredibly obvious she was trying to dump this table. We rejected it immediately and she sat us somewhere else. But the worst part was the noise level. The tables are extremely close together and it seemed like people were screaming to be heard over the noise level of the place. We put a few dollars down for the roll I ate and walked out.
I’m sure the food is great but if we have to scream at each other to have a conversation the enjoyment is gone. We won’t be back! ( the only reason there are stars from me is because they wouldn’t let me leave any blank)
The food as usual was delicious! Our waiter Joe was fabulous. He was attentive to our needs and recommended wines that we thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you Tommy for the delicious dessert you brought to our table. It’s always a pleasure eating at Kleos. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to eat authentic Greek cuisine.

What a great find in the center of Providence! The selection had something for all of us, leaving us with plenty of options for our next visit. The flavors were fresh and vibrant, with the most amazing olive oil from Greece that provided the perfect finish for all the dishes.
We got there early friday evening to make a show at ppac. octopus appetizerr was perfectly charred and just right for two. She had the scallops, I had the shrimp, both were delicious. Bacon baklava was so good. Peter was the best - attentive, knowledgeable, and personable
Went for a meal pre-PPAC. Service was very mindful and accommodating regarding our schedule. We had been looking for another Greek restaurant to complement Andrea's and I believe we found it here. Food was very good. The moussaka huge. I thought the avgolemono could have used a little more lemon, but that's just my taste.
The service was exceptional. Waitress went out of her way to accommodate. The food was good and reasonably priced. I loved the decor.
Overall great experience. Lovely atmosphere, very different scene for providence dining. Reasonable pricing. Authentic meal with modern twists. Delicious cuisine all around. Perfect for so many occasions. Can’t wait to return!!
Food was very disappointing!
