The restaurant itself was tight. We were seated next to a window and another table with no room to move. Food was ok, not great. Horta were so over cooked they were black. The spanakopita was over cooked as well and the top layers of phyllo dough were black. The lamb chops lacked seasoning. Our waiter was very good and his service was great.
Our first time at Kleos. It was wonderful. We sat in the front room on a Tuesday night and it was quiet. Drinks and food were delicious and our server was excellent. Our waiter brought us the Greek Donuts to celebrate the fact that my husband and I recently got married. They were AMAZING. We thought we were stuffed, but definitely had room for those! Would definitely go back and bring more friends.
We had a great birthday dinner here for a friend! The food was delicious and GREAT for sharing, for our group of 3 this was ideal! The server was sweet and very attentive. She even overheard us talking about our friends birthday and brought out some dessert at the end for no charge. We will definitely be back! The only reason our overall score didn’t get 5 stars is that it was a bit pricey.
Excellent food and amazing service! Make a reservation. The place fills up quickly. I am looking forward to going back soon.
Great food!! Will was a great waiter explained entrees. We will definitely be back.
Always go to Kleo’s when in Providence. Greek food at its best!
Delightful food, friendly service. The AC may need some work though because it was even more humid inside than it was outside.
Authentic and delicious Greek food in a beautiful dining are. Not too fancy, not too casual. Very enjoyable, highly recommend!
Kleos feels like a small slice of Greece in downtown Providence; ambiance is friendly and the blue decor makes you think you are in Santorini and the olive oil is superb. Lots of great meza plates to share and traditional Greek dishes along side of some special options.
The drinks took forever, the appetizers came out before the drinks.
I asked for lemon for my water 3 times and never got it.
Good Food, Good Service, It’s just the BEST place ever in New England,
The food is fatty and not so tasty. This is NOT an authentic greek restaurant. All three of us were very disappointed with every dish we have had.
The food was excellent. We started with the Meze appetizer which had a great assortment of food. The pistachio ravioli entree was so delicious. We ended our meal with greek donuts and baklava, both were very good. Our waitress was wonderful, very friendly and helpful.
This was our first visit and we will definitely be back.
We came to Kleos for a birthday after hearing rave reviews...it did not disappoint! The food was incredible, and came in huge portions, which was a pleasant surprise. Definitely a great value for the price! I have had a lot of Greek food, and it was great to come to a restaurant that has truly authentic Greek food. Cannot wait to go back!
We had an excellent meal. The lamb was superb. The Greek soup however, was somewhat bland.
Staff was wonderful. Food was middle of the road. Scallop dish was good/interesting. Located in the arts District so interesting people watching
My wife and I have been to Kleos on a number of occasions, both with friends and just the two of us. As usual, we were thinking of the Lamb Shank. As usual, this was prepared to our satisfaction and was delicious.
Our waitress, Nicki, suggested the Tower of Zucchini and it was wonderful.
Another great dinner!
Found Kleos while searching for a Mediterranean cuisine. Reservation was easy through OpenTable. Casual environment and we had a good seat by the window. The martinis have such creative names themed after the Greek mythology I think. We ordered from the menu as well as from the fix price menu. Portions are very generous so only entrees from the menu can be split. If ordering from the fix price menu. you choose 3 items, one from each category, but you can't split. Be ready to take home some food. Very delicious meals. I would recommend a visit to Kleos when you are in downtown Providence.
Came to try it out for restaurant week and will definitely be back! Great cocktails, apps, entrees, dessert - you will not be disappointed.
So happy that we finally stopped in to try Kleos tonight. The food was wonderful, and it was nice to have the opportunity to try some Greek wines, which we don't encounter too often. Warning. .. the portion size on the pastisio is only for the brave or truly famished, we had never seen larger!
Good food, very nice atmosphere. Would go again.
The servers were all very attentive and friendly. We went during restaurant week and the portions were large and they had several options to choose from. We sat outside an never felt ignored. Delicious, filling, authentic. Would return again.
The atmosphere is very pleasant, the menu is exactly what you want at a Greek restaurant. The food was good, the pastitsio and moussaka portions were enormous! Our server was very pleasant and friendly. We all enjoyed our evening!
It felt like I was eating a meal IN Greece! The only thing missing was the Greek music☺️ We took our friends there who wanted to try real Greek food. We each ordered the sharing dinner with all kinds of different meats and the dips. Then we toasted with a Greek dessert wine and a piece of Baklava that the owner sent us. We are all going back soon to try their other dishes.
All I can say.... AMAZING!!!!!!!! Such a great time!!!!
Unfortunately our expectations were not met for this restaurant that had recommendations. The restaurant was very loud and the part that was the most disturbing was the service. The server was not attentive, needed to ask for water, serving utensils and at the end of the meal he asked if we wanted dessert, coffee or after dinner drinks, we said no thank you. He then dropped the check picked up to of the plates from our party and walked away. He picked up the payment, never picked up any plates. Dropped credit card for signature and still picked up no additional plates. Our impression was, leave because you did not want dessert, etc.
Great place. Felt like we were sitting on sidewalk in Mykonos. Beautiful breeze colorful decor. Love Kleos!!!
Authentic Greek cuisine with a update. Fresh ingredients, some sourced from local areas and some imported from the family’s farms in greece, Kleo’s is a gem.
Very good food, authentic Greek flavors. Large portions, consider sharing. A loud room with not so comfortable chairs. It was very busy on the Thursday night we were there and the servers and staff seemed overwhelmed.
All that said, the food is so good I would go back again and again.
Tasty Mediterranean food made with the family's own olive oil. So awesome to have great Greek cuisine that is several cuts above the usual diner fare.
We absolutely love Kleos! Have dined there twice as a couple on weekend evenings and were so pleased with each visit. The Pastistio is extraordinary. The octopus is the perfect starter, if you are into seafood. Window tables are just lovely, especially when they are opened up to the street. Fantastic ambiance and delicious Greek food. You simply must try Kleos if you like to dine downtown.
Food was good but the flavors were not correct. As I am a Greek born in Athens and cook Greek meals at home, my one main comment is WAY TO MUCH ALL SPICE. It was in every meat dish. Meatballs and Gyro sandwich which was more hamburg then sliced off a spit.
Amazing Greek food, innovative, fresh, and delicious!
Great food & ambiance!
Love this place! The food was excellent, service was great, and the ambiance was inviting. Highly recommend.
Very nice ambiance and decor. Great Greek food--had the mezze tasting platter to start, then our group had the lamb shank, scallops, Greek lasagna, Greek salad. Service was very slow as there was only one server for the entire restaurant on a busy weeknight.
Kleos was very god. We are already planning our next visit.
Service was outstanding, food was great - loved it!
Everything was absolutly delicious and the staff is so pleasant. Try the spicy feta dip!
Just OK, not memorable. Returning is very questionable.
It's greek so I expected my palette to really notice greek seasonings. That didn't happen.
It's sister restaurant, Rosalina's, now that place is really good.
