The food at Kleos is great! (And affordable). The restaurant is a small space, intimate, with nice natural lighting. The service is good. Our appetizers and meals were served out quickly. Good spot for casual lunch or dinner.
The appetizer was very good. The wine was not. The eggplant dish I had was burnt. The steak my husband has was extremely fatty. The waiter was new charged for a plate we didn’t order but he did remove it from the bill. Otherwise he was pleasant enough. I will never go back.
Casual ambiance, we were seated on time of reservation. Waiter was well informed and helpful with our questions.
We used to love this place. Noticed some changes during our last visit. Needs improvement starting with the customer service.
Every time we come here it’s incredible. Highly recommend the Greek Lasagna!
Creative drinks and delicious food made for a wonderful time with friends before walking a few minutes to PPAC. I will dine at Kleos again when I’m looking for a nice place downtown. Service was great, spacious table, wonderful natural light.
Dined here before a show at PPAC. Server asked about this prior to ordering and assured us that she would keep an eye on the clock, which she did. Admirable.
Tzatziki Tower starter was OK. Slightly greasy. Protein part of salmon entree was good, vegetables not so. Lamb chops were on special that evening. They were overcooked and a bit dry. Spinach side was kind of a soggy mess. Lemon potatoes were disappointing. I usually love to have these at a real Greek place, but in this case they were over seasoned *and* the lemon flavor was overpowering.
In retrospect, I wish I’d had the beef tenderloin souvlaki that I saw served at other tables. Looked yummy.
Very good service, except for the greeter, who seemed to be overwhelmed and confused by the iPad app that she was using to assign tables.
Everything was stellar love going there
All around a very good dining experience. We arrived on the early side; it was nice and quiet then. The valet parking was a little tricky; there's no easy place to stop, and if the valet is not about, it's hard to know what to do. That being said, it worked out and we had nice celebratpry dinner for a graduate with many interesting choices. My moussaka was fine. My son's lamb chops were super. The owner's relative's olive oil was quite nice; I would have liked more (and better) bread. The dishes were not "garni" - that is, no side dishes. The portions were generous! I would have liked something green - a little salad or vegetable - but there was too much to think of ordering an extra side! The Greek wine was good and a new experience. I would definitely recommend this spot.
The food and the service were amazing. I highly recommend the place. It had great ambience and we really enjoyed ourselves
Beautiful table at the window. Great service and really enjoyed the salmon and the eggplant appetizer. Scotch was good too.
I had to send back my moussaka because it had no cream sauce on top, just grated cheese. Taste awful.
We had a great night at Kleos. The food was exception, reasonably-prices, and the service was excellent.
Everything about our dining experience at Kleos was spectacular! I was looking for an exceptional Greek restaurant for Mother’s Day and that is just what we found! The dishes were authentic, delicious and sized just right. The wine list included an extensive variety of Greek wines, which you can’t find in many local wine shops. The ambiance was wonderfully inviting as well. Also a lovely surprise, we were visited by owners Tom and Lauren at our table at the end of our meal. They shared anecdotes about their families and how their loved ones are an integral part of the restaurant. We had a splendid time from beginning to end. To quote food critic, Anton Ego, from the animated film, Ratatouille, we “will be back for more!
I admit that I didn't think I would like a Greek restaurant not knowing what to expect from the menu. Our server, Will, made some suggestions and we ended up sharing an appetizer, entrée and dessert and it was a nice way to sample a few options and it was delicious! The atmosphere is bright and cheery and everyone was warm and friendly. Will definitely return!
Our food was excellent and the 4 of us enjoyed everything that we ordered. The drinks were a bit higher in price than I usually pay but not by much. The only problem we had was getting cashed out. After requesting the check we waited about 20 minutes to get it. Other than that our waiter was friendly and attentive so I'm going to call that a momentary lapse.
This little Greek restaurant was a perfect mix of culture and modern. I would definitely recommend the food and the experience to anyone!
Fantastic and authentic Greek food, creative cocktails and a beautiful setting. Would highly recommend!
Delightful restaurant. Comfortable bar to sit at, had our table ready and waiting. Thoroughly enjoyed all four courses we ordered. The flavors were excellent. We shall be returning.
Had a great time at Kleos last night. We shared the special appetizer, the dip platter, pasticcio, and baklava. All awesome, but especially the appetizer with feta in phyllo dough with peppers and honey! The Dionysius cocktail was delicious! The service was terrific. Can’t wait to go back!
Great service and food was outstanding. Good vibe!
This was our first time at Kleos. We felt a little rushed to order - we were told by our server that he would not deliver any food until we placed our complete order because we couldn’t have food on the table and hold on to our menu because the menu was just printed and he didn’t want us to get it dirty. Being new to the restaurant, we didn’t know the portions so not sure how much to order. We wanted to order after seeing the appetizer/Meze portions, but felt pressure to order up front. We got there early to enjoy a more leisurely dining experience. Other than one appetizer we liked the food. The sever was pleasant - just didn’t like to be told we couldn’t keep the menu, which didn’t really make sense because our first appetizer was delivered along with bread and olive oil while we still had the menu. This servers menu issue put a damper on our dining experience.
If specials are dramatically higher than average price of entrees, diners should be informed. Very loud ambience and with window open there was the occasional blast of cool air.
Oh my, this dinner was just spectacular. One of the best meals, never mind it was Greek, that I've had a long time. Each dish was delicious, great portions, thoughtfully prepared and the service attentive and knowledgeable - all in a light and intimate atmosphere. Can't wait to go back!
This is such a nice restaurant. I came here with a friend and shared some appetizers and they were awesome! I recommend the calamari and dip tasting platter. The customer service was incredible and the design of the restaurant is beautiful and very trendy. Will definitely come back!
Went to Kleos before a show at PPAC. Had made a note of that and the service reflected it perfectly. Server was attentive but not intrusive. Food came out quickly but not in a rushed fashion. The meal was superb. Would highly recommend the lamb shank. Will absolutely return.
This was my second trip— first dinner visit. Lunch had been divine and so was dinner. I asked them to accommodate making me their lunch time gyro and they made it into a dinner entree. Dessert was great. Service was friendly and capable. I’m going back soon!
We arrived at 9.15pm and Kleos was still lively and welcoming. Our table by the window allowed us to watch the street life outside - kinda cool. Our server was outstanding - kind, charming and helpful. The food (mixed appetizers and mains) were excellent. The recommended wine was also great. The bill for four with wine and cocktails was $280 with tip. Reasonable for above-average food.
Just walking in, I knew our party was in for a treat...……..the service was awesome and the greek food was incredible, very good menu choices... overall a great experience and will dine at Kleos again soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We started with the soup, (Greek egg-lemon), then salad, entree and dessert. Each part of the meal was extremely flavorful and the servings were ample - we shared the huge salad. The Baklava was the best I've ever had (not too sweet and really nuttly.) I can't wait to go back to try something different the next time. Our waiter was great too - he's served us both times we've been there. I highly recommend Kleos if you like Greek food - it's very authentic.
My lamb dish was slightly over done, but still very good. The appetizers and Greek Cabernet were excellent. My wife is half Greek and she very much approves! Service was excellent. Go before 8 and it is quieter. Nice ambiance! Highly recommended.
Delicious food. Nice seat with some privacy. Good waiter. Will return.
Delicious food. Great service. Congenial.
Excellent service from will. Noise level was terrible and Put Damper on the evening . Food was OK but I’ve had better at your restaurant.
The specials were terrific; the dips and Tzaziki Tower were delicious and the olives are family cured. The lasagna had a lot of carbs; same with the lamb shank. And the Avgolemono soup, which was very hearty, needed more lemon.
The food was better than I anticipated. I'm not familiar with Greek food so I wasn't sure what to expect. The extent of my knowledge is gyro's and greek salads. My friend and I chose an appetizer and pasta dish to share and the selection was unique and delicious and the portion side was just perfect to share. Since we were on our way to PPAC we didn't want leftovers although our server offered their refrigerator if we wanted to store something to pick up after the show.
Great dinner, and great service. Will definately be back
Providence locals, Kleos is our favorite special occasion restaurant. Food is always amazing, service is great and the drinks are delicious.
Food was good, but we did sit near the front door, where a seriously cold wind whipped in every time it was opened. Good service.
The food was so authentic and amazing! The staff was friendly, attentive and helped make the experience stellar!
