   We had a wonderful experience at Kizuna. The fish quality was excellent and every piece was delicious. The sushi chef was very friendly and also knowledgeable about all the fish. The pieces and preparation is more natural so you can taste the quality of the fish. They don't use strong sauces and dress up the pieces to hide the taste of the fish. The dinner was absolutely delicious and we will definitely go back. It's BYOB, so bring your sake or beer if you want to have drinks.

   Exceptional omakase experience. Our 4th trip and so grateful to have this gem in neighborhood and affordable. For now: BYO drinks. There is always something new to try and the chef is masterful in preparing the fish. The rice is key, and we can only name 2 places that have the best rice. (The other place has a Michelin star). We love omakase where the fish is the centerpiece and this place doesn't disappoint.

   3rd visit and again, the Chef surprised us with great new dishes. An exceptional omakase experience and it has become our #2 favorite. It is still a little unknown gem on the UES, but it is better than many of the known names in th area: yes, we have frequented them all. In the meantime, BYOB, book a seat at the bar, enjoy the company of the other guests, and let the chef take you on a delicious tasting journey.

   The dry-aged fish is soooo good, the lobster opening is also amazing

   Aside from a great value experience..the chef does an amazing job in balancing flavor. Our omakase experience ranks this place in the top 5. Fresh ingredients, never the same menu, best chawanmushi, great flavor, mouth oasis experience. It's a new omakase place on UES and refreshing to experience the innovation of the tasting menu offered. Pricing is great for the exceptional experience. Love to see the place thrive as an important contribution to eating establishments on UES.
