   Most enjoyable! We had a meal here before an evening at Winchester Science Centre, and it was ideal. Service was efficient and the staff were polite and attentive. We were a party of 8, and all 8 meals came put together (pretty much). The food was fresh, well cooked, and tasty. The menu has a decent selection, and our meals arrived in excellent time. Only shame was that it was very quiet, but then it was early on a Sunday evening. This place deserves a decent amount of custom. Highly recommend.

   Our dinner was lovely it's clean and fresh unfortunately it was ruined by a very rude and moody lady that worked there and in all honesty just because of her it ruined our first valentines meal as husband and wife if staff don't like there jobs then they shouldn't work there

   We arrived at the restaurant to be seated and was ignored by the two members of staff for a few minutes. We were seated at our table and given menus. We had to ask for our water after 10 minutes which arrived and ordered our drinks. We waited 20 minutes before the drinks arrived. The food came out very quickly and my steak was served on a board. I'm not sure why restaurants stopped using plates as they are a clean and function way to serve food rather than on a chopping board. The pizza came and was undercooked. We would not eat there again and based on the location of the hotel we would not stay there as the only option to have a meal would be the on-site restaurant.

   Our drinks weren’t delivered, I had to collect them from the bar, it took 45 minutes for our food to be served and the starter had a hair in it, the Maine course was cold and the portion size was very small, we thought it was very over priced for what it was.

   Went early on Sunday evening. Burger was cold and gnocchi Luke warm. They did redo immediately, but not great.

   We have been staying at the hotel for many years and dined also. The new menu is very expensive in comparison to previous visits. Not sure we will use again in future even though the hotel is very good and well appointed. It’s a shame as dining onsite is very convenient but the prices are not reflective of the food and quality.
