Created to deliver the best in food, drinks and vibes to Dallas, Texas, Kitchen + Kocktails is here to please. A dynamic comfort food restaurant at its core, Kitchen + Kocktails will focus on nicely plated comfort foods, including flavored fried chicken and lobster tails, shrimp and grits, creative waffles and other southern classics made with a twist.
As of 9.7.22 We will no longer be allowing any outside foods including but not limited to cakes, cupcakes, or desserts, ect.

DRESS CODE:
We are enforcing a dress code disallowing guests from appearing in tank tops, flip flops, slides (regardless of brand), clothes with explicit attire, sagging, some bodysuits, jerseys and attire that does not meet K+K expectation.
Men: NO headwear is allowed. This includes, ball caps, skull caps, hoods, durags, etc.

    It's a small restaurant that gets very loud with passionate patrons. The fried crablegs aren't easy to eat. The lamb chops were cold and under cooked.. The drinks are overpriced, but very pretty...

    Music was a little loud so we asked to be seated in a little more quiet area. Waitress took us to a spot that was a little more quiet but still loud. FYI, my hubby and I are in the over 55 crowd☺️. Onto the food… #1 ordered fried chicken. Offered white or dark meat - requested white and wings. Just the wings were $30. Received 2 whole wings #2 first delivery- not cooked and sent back. The chicken was rubbery. Ordered with side dish of candied yams. Excellent! #3 came with catfish (hubby’s order) which was properly cooked and very good #4 chicken came back. Still not cooked. It was a new order. Waitress stood there while I checked it myself. Sent back again. #5 chicken came back a 3rd time. It was acceptable. Crazy hot and decent flavor. However, chicken wasn’t cleaned well as I found chicken ‘hair’ and a small feather. #6 throughout all this, waitress was fabulous! Brittany was her name. Checked on us regularly, filled the water pitcher without asking, big smile, etc. #7 so after two bad orders, a 15% gratuity was added for a table of 2 and we still paid full price for getting 2 orders of wings that weren’t properly cooked. No ‘here’s a free drink while you wait’ or ‘here’s your candied yams for free’. I know it’s a different day (again, over 55) and I know the waitress has nothing to do with this. This is the mgmt. I guess times are tough. Real tough. #8 restaurant had a beautiful marble bar So, would I recommend this place ? Mmmm..probably not ☹️. I don’t understand how you not clean and undercook chicken wings…

    When I'm Dallas, Texas, it's a must that I reservation in advance. Food is good, ambiance, and VIBEZ are always to my liking(that's why it's always a "to do"). Keep on keeping on.

    Baby this place is superior! I had an awesome time here. Was able to get a reservation for 6 with no problem. Food here is spectacular. It makes you change your mind about losing weight. The itis is real. Let me tell you; the fried lobster and fried chicken came fresh, hot out the grease, they both were sooooo juicy. Mac and cheese is super creamy and cheesey. The greens are delicious. You can tell all the food was cooked with love. Get the frozen D’Usse. You won’t be disappointed. They really set the mood with the music and the customer service. All of my guest were pleased and went straight to bed after leaving. Can’t wait to go back.

    We chose to celebrate our 46 wedding anniversary at Kitchen + Kocktails in Dallas after seeing the beautiful advertisements on Instagram We were not disappointed. Love the food and the ambience. Great customer service from our waitress. We started our meal with a delicious appetizer, fried green tomatoes, which included grits and Cajun shrimp. It was so good! For dinner, we had fried pork chops with candy yams, collard greens, black-eyed peas. I was looking for a good comfort food restaurant, and I found it. I highly recommend you visiting this restaurant, if you’re looking for excellent service with delicious food.

    I went to kitchen & kocktails for the first time and had a great experience! The service was phenomenal. Brittany served me & my best friend & she was so sweet! The drinks were good and the food was delicious! The ambiance was aesthetically pleasing & the music was really good! I can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend

    Friend night out and we’ve heard so much about the weekday happy hour specials. I was intrigued and very eager to see what was up. Don’t be alarmed with the portions because the flavor helps you forget that you’re paying $9 for one lamb chop, $6 one deviled egg with the grilled shrimp on top (2 pieces = one egg. Then the butterfly shrimp was also $6 for 2 shrimps. No sides available but you can still order from the regular menu. Drinks smh I had rum punch minus the RUM for $17. We left hungry and enjoyed the last hour of happy hour at Perry’s a steakhouse 🤷🏽‍♀️ do better!

    The food was great hands down best food in town. However, the customer service needs an overhaul. (Flaire F ) rude.The area we sat in was hot. The glass door that separates the front of the restaurant from the back seating area needs to be removed the air needs to flow to the back of the restaurant it’s too hot. There were two additional incidents involving our waitress it took 20-30 mins for my friends drink to arrive due to the excessive wait she wanted to cancel and the waitress rudely stated “we can’t do that.” We don’t do that here “ even though she had been waiting for 30 mins for the drink and the waitress apologized for the wait (poor customer service). A second incident occurred: the chicken brought out with the waffles was extremely hot with pepper. It seemed as though the cook sent out the hot chicken instead of the original chicken. The chicken literally burned my throat and I could see some sort of red seasoning on the chicken. I mentioned it to our waitress the chicken was too hot and may be the wrong type of chicken. she became visibly angry and Defensjve and stated it is not the wrong chicken that is the original. I told her it was not because I had eaten it in the past. She then stated well I requested original she tried to argue I explained I had no plans to keep that chicken on my plate and she could retrieve it she looked at me and stated that’s what I am going to do. I scooped it off my plate and she left angry. An assistant came back and explained it often happens with the cooks they get heavy handed with the seasoning and replaced the chicken. She was much nicer and I don’t know what the big issue was because I had only taken a few bites of the chicken and noticed it was hot everywhere. She wanted to debate me on chicken she had not even tasted herself just crazy I have never experienced this before . This was my second time at this establishment and I won’t be returning. It was my line sisters first time and she won’t be eit

    Shrimp and Grits with a Lobster tail was to die for. They also let you get a shot taste of the drink of the day. It was a drink made with Dusse cognac. Ashley was a jewel.

    I’ve been to K+K twice. The first time was because of all the hype. The second time was to bring friends for the experience…. the atmosphere is fun in terms of the music and feeling like you’re in a day club; the wait staff was very accommodating and friendly!! Both times, the food was just OK, but not fantastic or great. Both times the food was much too salty. The best way to describe K+K is this is a club that serves food vs a restaurant with good music. 1. I’m not sure how far the chefs kitchen is from the tables, but by the time all our food (and there were 5 in my party) made it to our table, the temperature of the food was never hot. It was lukewarm at best. 2. Two of us purchased the lamb chop breakfast on the brunch menu… Flavorful, but way too salty and severely overcooked from what we requested. One of us ordered them medium rare, and I ordered mine medium….both were well done. We casually mentioned this to our waitress, who took it upon herself to say, let me take this back to the kitchen and fix it for you. She was outstanding! I’ve  given this place two chances and I won’t be back. When a restaurant charges the prices that they do for their food, then the taste/temperature/quality should all be on point. Granted their drink prices are WAY over the top too expensive, but people having a good time jammin to great beats will tend to pay more for their drinks (average drink price is $20-25) and K+K is capitalizing on this. For the prices they charge, where is someone from management walking around making sure the customer is enjoying their food?!! Another complete miss. 🤦🏾‍♀️👎🏾

    Went on a Saturday. Vibes were nice there was a DJ that was really good. The food was amazing. Service was a bit slow (but expected as they were busy). It is on the pricier side. But overall, I’d be back again.

    Good DJ, nice servers very knowledgeable of food and menu. Food was salty. Waitress was great but got very slow at the end. Chicago location is wayyyyyy better. Jalapeño margarita was horrible.

    We had a blast being my moms first time here! It’s a birthday celebration for her she turned 82. I was a bit disappointed because NO ONE acknowledged her for her birthday there. No dessert, nothing, not a happy birthday NOTHING! The table next to us, we happen to be black and my husband and i frequent your place…the white people next to us got complimentary shots of frozen margs and it was never offered to us! I thought it was a fluke when it didn’t happen for my birthday, or anniversary in August, at least we got sample shots back then but no acknowledgment for my birthday. I was sadden to see it didn’t happen for my mom when other restaurants treated her like a VIP! I’d like to see your spot do something or at least acknowledge celebrations. Otherwise my mom did enjoy the food and lamb chops! 🥹

    It was my first time ever dining with this restaurant since I know they are in a couple states. When I arrived I was greeted immediately and sat. I did not have to wait and I was about 15 minutes early to my reservation. My friend experienced trouble parking but the waitress was very patient with me and allowed me to sample liqour while I waited. Once my friend arrived, she also offered her samples. She gave us recommendations on what to eat so we ordered everything she suggested. The music was perfect. Even other servers helped us out when they saw they could. 10/10 experience. I will be returning and/ or trying the restaurant in a different state.

    My table was abandoned for more than 20 minutes at a time and the ticket was incorrect. I was told the menu was wrong all for the waitresses to later admit she made the mistake. The seats need to be shampooed they are very dirty..not going back

    Kitchen & Kocktails does it again! Drinks, FOOD, atmosphere and service was EXCELLENT!!! Unknown to us there was a Beyoncé pop up brunch going on when we arrived! (Beyoncé was in town for her concert)! The vibe was 🔥! Oh and did I mention the FOOD WAS UHH’MAZING!!?? 😉

    If you are looking for Southern comfort food - look no further! Food was delicious. We had Southern fried chicken and waffles. Just the right amount of spice, waffles were light and fluffy. Blackened Salmon filet with sweet potato fries. Delicious! Drinks were unique and amazing.

    Nice friendly staff, everyone smiles or speaks. Were we were seating it’s was freezing 🥶 cold. No other seats to accommodate us (5). Music 🎼 is way overly LOUD Food was good Lamb chops to much spice not cooked as I requested didn’t wanna complain read previous review about that. Didn’t end well. CRAB CAKE THEE BEST I EVER HAD🥰🥰🥰 Fried Cauliflower, greens, yams excellent. It’s something to certainly try. Drinks were also really good.

    Manager Ryan was rude put my group of 4 out during my bday celebration due to the fact one of the guest complained about the food being too salty which it was. So to compensate he gave her a crab cake she didn’t ask for. Then sent security to have us escorted out. Food was way too salty. Overrated…
