   Came here to try out the famous Chicago “Kitchen & Kocktails” just to be hit with over priced food everything “sold separately” chicken it self $30 ever side is $13+ eachhhhh ! Just for one person your bill is $60 with GRATUITY AUTOMATICALLY INCLUDED. Portions were not big nor worth it none of the food was cooked to perfection for these ridiculous prices.

   What is the point of making reservations when you still waiting for an hour? The manager (I believe his name starts with a C) Was VERY rude when asked why are we waiting over an hour! There needs to be better structure there! It was chaotic! Not to mention the food was served 'undone' IT WAS HORRIBLE!!!

   I had a 3:00pm reservation and arrived at 2:50p. Hostess said that I had about an hour wait, regardless of the reservation. At 4:00p, a friend of mine came in with a 4p reservation and seated immediately. By this time we had drinks and appetizers and the whole bar of people had turned over. Went back to the hostess stand and learned we had never been checked in. Long story short, we were refunded the bill because we still didn’t have food by 5p and didn’t want to stay. I’m sure the food would have been great as the appetizers and cocktails were great. But the service was horrible in regards to the reservation I made weeks in advance and confirmed multiple times. Not coming back…

   The food was really good and the portions were satisfying. The mimosa wasn’t that satisfying as I ordered a flavored mimosa and I couldn’t taste the mango. It took some time for the food to arrive at our table and it wasn’t hot in temperature. The prices are a bit questionable for the value of the food and drinks. But I did enjoy the visit overall. The place is nicely decorated and the music was a great addition.

   The customer service was very nice. Attentive and friendly staff. The restaurant was extremely loud. The music was so loud that it was hard to hear your own conversation. The food was subpar, especially compared to the unrealistic price point. I had the blackberry margarita (2/5 very syrupy), lamb chop breakfast (charged a $2 up charge for cheese eggs which is completely fine, but the shredded cheese was just sprinkled on top like a garnish, breakfast potato’s were dry and under seasoned) and the deviled eggs (5/5). Overall, the experience was just okay, again the staff was phenomenal, but due to the food I do not see myself visiting again.

   THIS IS MY 2ND VISIT TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT COMING FROM MILWAUKEE AND THE FOOD WAS JUST AS AMAZINGGGG AS IT WAS THE FIRST TIME NO COMPLAINTS THERE. THE DOWNSIDE IS THAT BOTH TIMES WE HAD RESERVATIONS AND STILL HAD TO WAIT ABOUT 30-45 MINUTES BEFORE BEING SEATED I FEEL LIKE THE FOCUS IS MORE SO ON QUANTITY INSTEAD OF QUALITY WHICH HENDERS THE CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE. OUR WAITRESS RARELY CAME TO CHECK ON US AND WE DID NOT RECEIVE OUR DRINKS UNTIL WE FINSHED OUR MEALS!! ON TOP OF THAT RIGHT BEFORE PAYING THE BILL WE RECEIVED OUR APPITIZER :( SO WE TOOK IT TO GO WE DID ASK FOR A MANAGER WHO WAS APOLOGETIC AND IT WAS TAKEN OFF THE BILL.

    First time here for my best friend’s birthday and it was honestly the best!! The food was really good, but the cocktails (like seriously, the cocktails!!!!) were SO good. I had such a great time. Only thing that bugged me a bit was the wait—we had a 3:00pm reservation but didn’t get seated until 3:25. Overall, solid 8/10. Big shoutout to our server and host (ugh I wish I remembered their names!!).
