   I visited for the first time to celebrate my birthday. The food and drinks were both really good—the jerk chicken had great flavor, and the cocktails were enjoyable. That said, I was surprised by the pricing. I paid $21 for just two pieces of jerk chicken, and I wasn’t informed that sides came at an additional cost. If my server had explained that, I would have ordered differently. The lack of communication definitely impacted my experience, and it seems the guaranteed 20% gratuity may contribute to a drop in service quality. I’d consider coming back, but only during happy hour when the value better matches the price. With better customer service and clearer communication, the experience could be great. Beautiful restaurant overall

   This was our 2nd time eating here, and it didn’t disappoint. The service was good as well as the food. Ambiance was on point as well. Just remember that the sides are large in portion so you could actually share with whomever you’re with IG that’s your preference. The fried chicken is always cooked to perfection with a nice crunch to it. Overall everything was really nice.

   Our server was Alli and she was phenomenal! She was professional and hospitable. She provided great customer service. She was knowledgeable and friendly. It was a bit warm but overall had an amazing time. Will recommend and definitely will return.

   This was our first time at K+K. The ambiance was nice. Our waitress, Gabby, was wonderful. Very polite and observant. Drinks are pricey and most all entrees are a la carte. The sides aren't shareable sized and are $13 per side plus average entree being around $27. And, a 20% gratuity is automatically added. The food was, overall, good. We would've liked the tables to be spread further apart. We felt like we were sitting on top of the couples next to us and asked to be moved to a less cramped area. The DJ was playing new and old school hits. We were a fan of that. We'd definitely come back again.

   Everything was great the mimosa tower could have had more flavor than it had with the fruit blend other then that it was perfect

   I went to dinner today with three friends. The waiter took 30 minutes to take our order, and we waited an hour for the food, and it never arrived. Neither the waiter nor the manager came to speak to us. We felt totally ignored. I don’t recommend this restaurant at all.

    We really enjoyed the restaurant. Service was impeccable. I don’t remember our server’s name, but he was new to Charlotte. He was very personable and gave great food recommendations. Our drinks were great. I would come back for another visit.
